سونے سے پہلے کی دعا۔۳

   مفضل بن عمر کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت امام جعفر صادقؑ نے مجھ سے فرمایا اگر کر سکتے ہو تو ایسا کرو کہ رات کے وقت ۱۱ حرفوں کے ساتھ خود کو خدا کی پناہ میں دے دو میں نے عرض کیا وہ کونسے حروف ہیں آپؑ نے فر مایا وہ حروف یہ ہیں ۔ پس جب بھی خدا کی پناہ حاصل کرنا چاہو تو اسی دعا کو پڑھ لیا کرو۔۔۔

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. اَعُوْذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللهِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِقُدْرَةِ اللهِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِجَلَالِ اللهِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِسُلْطَانِ اللهِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِجَمَالِ اللهِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِدَفْعِ اللهِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِمَنْعِ اللهِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِجَمْعِ اللهِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِمُلْكِ اللهِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِوَجْهِ اللهِ وَاَعُوْذُ بِرَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ وَبَرَءَ وَذَرَءَ۔

   A'OOZU BI'IZZATI ALLAAHI WA-A'OOZU BIQUDRATI ALLAAHI WA-A'OOZU BIJALAALI ALLAAHI WA-A'OOZU BISULTAANI ALLAAHI WA-A'OOZU BIJAMAALI ALLAAHI WA-A'OOZU BIDAF'I ALLAAHI WA-A'OOZU BIMAN'I ALLAAHI WA-A'OOZU BIJAM'I ALLAAHI WA-A'OOZU BIMULKI ALLAAHI WA-A'OOZU BIWAJHI ALLAAHI WA-A'OOZU BIRASOOLI ALLAAHI SALLAA ALLAAHU 'ALAYHI WA-AALIHEE MIN SHARRI MAA KHALAQA WABARA'A WAZARA'.

   I pray for the protection of Allah’s almightiness, I pray for the protection of Allah’s omnipotence, I pray for the protection of Allah’s majesty, I pray the protection of Allah’s authority, I pray for the protection of Allah’s beauty, I pray the protection of Allah’s defense, I pray for the protection of Allah’s guard, I pray for the protection of Allah’s wholeness, I pray for the protection of Allah’s control, I pray for the protection of Allah’s face, and I pray for the protection of Allah’s Messenger, may Allah bless him and his Household, against the evil of whatever He has created, originated, and made.

   پناہ لیتا ہوں عزت خدا کی، پناہ لیتا ہوں قدرت خدا کی، پناہ لیتا ہوں دبدبہ خدا کی، پناہ لیتا ہوں اقتدار خداکی، پناہ لیتا ہوں زیبائی خدا کی، پناہ لیتا ہوں دفاع خدا کی، پناہ لیتا ہوں حفظ خدا کی، پناہ لیتا ہوں گروہ خدا کی، پناہ لیتا ہوں ملکیت خداکی، پناہ لیتا ہوں ذات خدا کی، پناہ لیتا ہوں خدا کے رسولؐ کی ہر چیز کے شر سے جو اس نے پیدا کی اور پھیلائی۔

4. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
