Dua Before Seeking

1. His Supplication in Praise of Allah

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

YAA MAN HUWA AQRABU ILAYYA MIN HABLI AL-WAREEDI, YAA MAN HUWA FA''AALUN LIMAA YUREEDU, YAA MAN YAHOOLU BAYNA AL-MAR'I WAQALBIHEE YAA MAN HUWA BIL-MANZARI AL-A'LAA YAA MAN LAYSA KAMITHLIHEE SHAY'.

O the One who is nearer to me than the jugular vein. O the One who does whatever He wills. O the One who can be an obstruction between a man and his heart. O the one who is at the highest place of manifestation. O the One who has no parallel.

ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
