امام محمد باقر ؑ سے مروی ہے :حضرت امیر المومنینؑ بیمار ہوئے تو رسول خدا ؐ ان کی احوال پرسی کے لیے تشریف لا ئے اور فرمایا: اے علیؑ !یہ دعا پڑھو۔۔۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ تَعْجِيْلِ عَافَيْتُكَ وَصَبْرًا عَلٰى بَلِيَّتُكَ، وَخُرُوْجَا اِلٰى رَحْمَتُكَ۔
ALLAAHUMMA INNEE AS-ALOKA TA’JEELE ‘AA-FAIY-TOKA WA SABRAN ‘ALAA BALIY-YATO-KA, WA KHO-ROOJAA ILAA RAH-MATOK.
O Allah, I beseech You for haste of Your healing, endurance of Your tribulation, and exit to Your mercy.
اے معبود! تجھ سے مانگتا ہوں تیری طرف سے جلد صحت تیری طرف سے آئی مصیبت پر صبر اور تیری رحمت کی طرف جا نے کی توفیق۔
