ابو حمزہ سے روایت ہے : میرے گھٹنے میں درد ہو ا تب میں نے امام محمد باقرؑ سے اس کا ذکر کیا تو آ پ نے فرمایا : جب نماز ادا کر چکو تو یہ دعا پڑھا کرو۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
يَا اَجْوَدَ مَنْ اَعْطٰى يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ سُئِلَ وَيَا اَرْحَمَ مَنِ اسْتُرْحِمَ اِرْحَمْ ضَعْفِىْ وَقِلَّةَ حِيْلَتِىْ وَاَعْفِنِىْ مِنْ وَجَعِىْ۔
Yaa ajwada man a'taa yaa khayra man su'ila wayaa arhama mani usturhima irham da'fee waqillata heelatee wa-a'finee min waja'ee.
O most magnanimous of all those who may donate! O best of all those who may be besought! O most merciful of all those whose mercy is asked! (Please) have mercy upon my weakness and my helplessness and release me from my pain.
اے ہر دینے والے سے زیادہ سخی اے بہترین ذات جس سے مانگا جاتا ہے اے بہت رحم والے جس سے رحم مانگا جاتا ہے رحم کر میری کمزوری اور بے بسی پر اور مجھے اس درد سے عافیت دے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Abu-Hamzah added: When I did, I was healed.
ابو حمزہ کہتے ہیں: میں نے یہ دعا پڑھی اور اس درد سے شفا پائی۔
