ديگر معتبر سند کے ساتھ آپ سے روايت کی گئی ہے کہ اگر کوئی مومن روزانہ ۴۰ گناه کبيره کرے اور پھر پشيمان ہو کر يہ کلمات پڑھے تو خداے تعالیٰ اس کے گناه بخش دے گا۔۔۔
اَسْتَغْفِرُاللهَ الَّذِىْ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الْحَىُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ بَدِيْعُ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ ذُوالْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ وَاَسْئَلُهٗ اَنْ يَّتُوْبَ عَلَىَّ۔
As-tagh-ferul laahal lazee laa ilaaha illaa howal haiyyul qaiyyoo-mo badee’os samaa-waate wal arze zul-jalaale wal-ik-raame wa as-alo-hu an ya-tooba ‘alaiy.
I implore for the forgiveness of Allah save Whom there is no god; the Ever-living, the Self-Subsisting, the wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth, and the Lord of Majesty and Honoring; and I beseech Him to accept my repentance.
اس خدا سے معافی مانگتا ہوں کہ نہيں کوئی معبود مگر وه زنده پائنده آسمانوں اور زمین کو پيدا کرنے والا جلال و اکرام کا مالک اور سوال کرتا ہوں کہ وه ميری تو بہ قبول کر لے۔
