Dua for House Safety from Fire

گھر جلنے سے محفوظ رکھنے کی دعا

1. Shaikh Ibn Fahad has reported that when Abu’l-Darda’ was once informed that his house was on fire, he answered, “No, it is not on fire.” Another person met him and informed him of the same, but Abu’l-Darda’ gave the same answer. The same answer he gave to a third person. Then, it was known that all the houses around Abu’l-Darda’s house were consumed by fire except his. When he was asked how he knew that his house would not be on fire, Abu’l-Darda’ answered, “This is because I have heard the Messenger of Allah saying that whoever says this supplicatory prayer in the morning, no harm will afflict him that day, and whoever says it in evenings, no harm will attack him that night. Before I left, I had said this supplicatory prayer.” This supplicatory prayer is as follows…

   شیخ ابن فہدؒ نے روایت کی ہے کہ ایک روز ابو دردا کو بتایا گیا کہ تمہارا گھر جل گیا ہے! اس نے کہا: وہ نہیں جلا !پھر ایک شخص نے بھی آکر یہی کہا اور اس نے وہی جواب دیا۔ پھر ایک تیسرا شخص آیا اور اس نے بھی گھر جلنے کی خبر دی لیکن ابو دردا نے وہی جواب دیا بعد میں معلوم ہوا کہ اس کے گھر کے اطراف میں سب گھر جل چکے تھے لیکن اس کا گھر محفوظ رہ گیا تھا لوگوں نے پوچھا: تمہیں کہاں سے پتہ چلا کہ تمہارا گھر نہیں جلا؟! اس نے کہا: اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ میں نے حضرت رسول اﷲؐ کو کہتے سنا ہے : جو شخص صبح کے وقت یہ دعا پڑھے گا تو دن میں اس کا کوئی نقصان نہیں ہو گا اور اگر شام کو پڑھے گا تو رات کو اس کا کوئی نقصان نہیں ہو گا اور میں آج صبح کو یہ دعا پڑھ چکا تھا۔۔۔

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ رَبِّىْ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَاَنْتَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِىِّ الْعَظِيْمِ مَاشَآءَ اللهُ كَانَ وَمَا لَمْ يَشَآءْ لَمْ يَكُنْ اَعْلَمُ اَنَّ اللهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ وَاَنَّ اللهَ قَدْ اَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِىْ وَمِنْ شَرِّ قَضَآءِ السُّوْءِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِىْ شَرٍّ وَمِنْ شَرِّ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ اَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا اِنَّ رَبِّىْ عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA ANTA RABBEE LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA 'ALAYKA TAWAKKALTU WA-ANTA RABBU AL-'ARSHI AL-'AZEEMI WALAA HAWLA WALAA QUWWATA ILLAA BILLAAHI AL-'ALIYYI AL-'AZEEMI MAASHAA'A ALLAAHU KAANA WAMAA LAM YASHA' LAM YAKUN A'LAMU ANNA ALLAAHA 'ALAA KULLI SHAY'IN QADEERUN WA-ANNA ALLAAHA QAD AHAATA BIKULLI SHAY'IN 'ILMAA. ALLAAHUMMA INNEE A'OOZU BIKA MIN SHARRI NAFSEE WAMIN SHARRI QADAA'I AS-SOO'I WAMIN SHARRI KULLI ZEE SHARRIN WAMIN SHARRI AL-JINNI WAL-INSI WAMIN SHARRI KULLI DAABBATIN ANTA AAKHIZUN BINAASIYATIHAA INNA RABBEE 'ALAA SIRAATIN MUSTAQEEM.

   O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no God but You. In You I trust, and You are the Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no might nor power except with Allah, the Most High, the Mighty. Whatever Allah has willed was, and whatever He did not will, was not. I know that Allah is Powerful over all things, and that Allah encompasses everything in knowledge. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of myself, from the evil of an evil decree, from the evil of every evil thing, from the evil of the jinn and men, and from the evil of every creature You hold by the forelock. Really my Lord is on the straight path.

   اے معبود! تو میرا رب ہے، نہیں کوئی معبود مگر تو ہے، میں تجھ پر بھروسہ کرتا ہوں، تو عظمت والے عرش کا مالک ہے، نہیں ہے طاقت و قوت مگر جو بلند و بزرگ خدا سے ہے، خدا جو چاہے ہو جاتا ہے اور جو وہ نہ چاہے نہیں ہوتا، میں جانتا ہوں کہ ﷲ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے اور یقیناً ﷲ کے علم نے ہر چیز کو گھیرا ہوا ہے۔ اے معبود !میں تیری پناہ لیتا ہوں اپنے نفس کے شر سے، بری قضا کے شر سے، ہر شریر کے شر سے، جنوں اور انسانوں کے شر سے اور ہر حیوان کے شر سے کہ جس کی مہار تیرے ہاتھ میں ہے، یقیناً میرا رب سیدھے راستے پر ہے۔

4. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
