امام جعفر صادقؑ سے منقول ہے کہ امام زين العابدينؑ فرمايا کرتے تھے کہ جب ميں يہ کلمات پڑھ ليتا ہوں تو پھر اس سے کچھ خوف نہيں ہوتا کہ تمام جن و انس مجھے نقصان پہچانے کے لئے جمع بھی کيوں نہ ہو جائيں اور وه کلمات يہ ہيں۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ وَمِنَ اللهِ وَاِلَى اللهِ وَفِىْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ وَعَلٰى مِلَّةِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِلَيْكَ اَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِىْ وَاِلَيْكَ وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِىْ وَاِلَيْكَ اَلْجَاْتُ ظَهْرِىْ وَاِلَيْكَ فَوَّضْتُ اَمْرِىْ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ احْفَظْنِىْ بِحِفْظِ الْاِيْمَانِ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَىَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِىْ وَعَنْ يَمِيْنِىْ وَعَنْ شِمَالِىْ وَمِنْ فَوْقِىْ وَمِنْ تَحْتِىْ وَمَا قِبَلِىْ وَادْفَعْ عَنِّىْ بِحَوْلِكَ وَقُوَّتِكَ فَاِنَّهٗ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِكَ۔

In the Name of Allah (I begin), in Allah (I trust), from Allah (I derive power), to Allah (I resort), in the way of Allah (I proceed), and on the principles of Allah’s Messenger (I advance), may Allah bless him and his Household. O Allah, to You have I submitted myself, towards You have I turned my face, to You have I commended my cause, and with You have I entrusted my affairs. O Allah, (please) safeguard me with the safeguard of faith before me, behind me, to my right side, to my left side, above me, beneath me, and in front of me, and defend me with Your might and power, since there is neither might nor power except with You.
خدا کے نام سے، خدا کی ذات سے، خداسے، خدا کی طرف ،خدا ہی کی راه ميں اور خدا کے رسولؐ کے دين اور آئين پر۔ اے معبود! ميں نے خود کو تيرے سپرد کيا ہے، اپنا رخ تيری طرف کر ليا ہے، تجھے اپنا پشت پناه بنايا ہے اور اپنے معاملے تيرے حوالے کر ديے ہيں۔ اے معبود! ميری حفاظت فرما سلامتی اور ايمان کے ساتھ، ميرے آگے سے، ميرے پيچھے سے، ميرے دائيں سے، ميرے بائيں سے، ميرے اوپر سے، ميرے نيچے سے اور جو ميرے پہلو ميں ہے اور مجھ سے بلائيں دور کر اپنے حکم و قوت سے کيو نکہ نہيں کوئی طاقت و قوت مگر تجھی سے ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
