امام جعفر صادقؑ سے منقول ہے کہ امام زین العابدینؑ فرمایا کرتے تھے کہ جب میں یہ کلمات پڑھ لیتا ہوں تو پھر اس سے کچھ خوف نہیں ہوتا کہ تمام جن و انس مجھے نقصان پہنچانے کے لئے جمع بھی کیوں نہ ہو جائیں اور وہ کلمات یہ ہیں۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ وَمِنَ اللهِ وَاِلَى اللهِ وَفِىْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ وَعَلٰى مِلَّةِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِلَيْكَ اَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِىْ وَاِلَيْكَ وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِىْ وَاِلَيْكَ اَلْجَاْتُ ظَهْرِىْ وَاِلَيْكَ فَوَّضْتُ اَمْرِىْ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ احْفَظْنِىْ بِحِفْظِ الْاِيْمَانِ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَىَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِىْ وَعَنْ يَمِيْنِىْ وَعَنْ شِمَالِىْ وَمِنْ فَوْقِىْ وَمِنْ تَحْتِىْ وَمَا قِبَلِىْ وَادْفَعْ عَنِّىْ بِحَوْلِكَ وَقُوَّتِكَ فَاِنَّهٗ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِكَ۔
Bismi allaahi wabillaahi wamina allaahi wa-ilaa allaahi wafee sabeeli allaahi wa'alaa millati rasooli allaahi sallaa allaahu 'alayhi wa-aalih.
Allaahumma ilayka aslamtu nafsee wa-ilayka wajjahtu wajhee wa-ilayka al-ja'tu zahree wa-ilayka fawwadtu amree.
Allaahumma ihfaznee bihifzi al-eemaani min bayni yadayya wamin khalfee wa'an yameenee wa'an shimaalee wamin fawqee wamin tahtee wamaa qibalee wadfa' 'annee bihawlika waquwwatika fa-innahoo laa hawla walaa quwwata illaa bik.
In the Name of Allah (I begin), in Allah (I trust), from Allah (I derive power), to Allah (I resort), in the way of Allah (I proceed), and on the principles of Allah’s Messenger (I advance), may Allah bless him and his Household. O Allah, to You have I submitted myself, towards You have I turned my face, to You have I commended my cause, and with You have I entrusted my affairs. O Allah, (please) safeguard me with the safeguard of faith before me, behind me, to my right side, to my left side, above me, beneath me, and in front of me, and defend me with Your might and power, since there is neither might nor power except with You.
خدا کے نام سے، خدا کی ذات سے، خداسے، خدا کی طرف ،خدا ہی کی راہ میں اور خدا کے رسولؐ کے دین اور آئین پر۔ اے معبود! میں نے خود کو تیرے سپرد کیا ہے، اپنا رخ تیری طرف کر لیا ہے، تجھے اپنا پشت پناہ بنایا ہے اور اپنے معاملے تیرے حوالے کر دیے ہیں۔ اے معبود! میری حفاظت فرما ایمان کی حفاظت کے ساتھ، میرے آگے سے، میرے پیچھے سے، میرے دائیں سے، میرے بائیں سے، میرے اوپر سے، میرے نیچے سے اور جو میرے پہلو میں ہے اور مجھ سے بلائیں دور کر اپنے حکم و قوت سے کیونکہ نہیں کوئی طاقت و قوت مگر تجھی سے ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
