محمد ابن مسلم سے منقول ہے کہ امام محمد باقرؑ نے فرمایا : یہ دعا پڑھا کرو۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَوْسِعْ عَلَىَّ فِىْ رِزْقِىْ وَامْدُدْلِىْ فِىْ عُمْرِىْ وَاغْفِرْ لِىْ ذَنْۢبِىْ وَاجْعَلْنِىْ مِمَّنْ تَنْتَصِرُ بِهٖ لِدِيْنِكَ وَلَا تَسْتَبْدِلْ بِىْ غَيْرِىْ۔
Allaahumma awsi' 'alayya fee rizqee wamdudlee fee 'umree waghfir lee zanbee waj'alnee mimman tantasiru bihee lideenika walaa tastabdil bee ghayree.
O Allah, (please) expand my sustenance for me, increase my lifetime, forgive my sin, make me of those whom You use for backing Your religion, and do not substitute another in my place.
اے معبود! میرا رزق فراوان کر دے، میری عمر طولانی کر دے، میرے گناہ معاف کر دے اور مجھے ان لوگوں میں رکھ جن کے ذریعے تو دین کی مدد کرتا ہے اور میری جگہ کسی اور کو نہ لا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
