روایت نقل ہوئی ہے کہ امام جعفر صادق ؑ یہ دعا پڑھا کرتے تھے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem auto
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
يَا مَنْ يَّشْكُرُ الْيَسِيْرَ وَيَعْفُوْ عَنِ الْكَثِيْرِ وَهُوَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِيْمُ اِغْفِرْ لِىَ الذُّنُوْبَ الَّتِىْ ذَهَبَتْ لَذَّتُهَا وَبَقِيَتْ تَبِعَتُهَا۔
Yaa man yashkuru al-yaseera waya'foo 'ani al-katheeri wahuwa al-ghafooru ar-raheemu ighfir liya az-zunooba allatee zahabat lazzatuhaa wabaqiyat tabi'atuhaa. auto
O He Who accepts gratefully the little deed, pardons the many sins, and He is the Forgiving, the All-merciful, (please) forgive my sins whose pleasure has gone but whose consequences are still liable.
اے وہ جو تھوڑے عمل کی قدر کرتا ہے بہت سے گناہ معاف کر دیتا ہے اور بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے میرے وہ گناہ بخش دے جن کی لذت تو ختم ہو چکی ہے مگر ان کا برا انجام باقی ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad. auto
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
