دنیا و آخرت کی حاجات کی دعا۔۹
Imam Baqir (a) is reported to have said: Almighty Allah has forgiven a Bedouin man for two words he said in his supplicatory prayer. These two words are as follows…
امام محمد باقر ؑ سے مروی ہے : حق تعالیٰ نے ایک دیہاتی کو ان کلمات کے سبب بخش دیا کہ جن کے ذریعے وہ دعا کیا کرتا تھا۔۔۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنْ تُعَذِّبْنِىْ فَاَهْلٌ لِذٰلِكَ اَنَا وَاِنْ تَغْفِرْلِىْ فَاَهْلٌ لِذٰلِكَ اَنْتَ۔
Allaahumma in to‘azzib-nee fa-ah-loon le-zaale-ka anaa wa in tagh-fir-lee fa-ah-loon le-zaale-ka anta.
O Allah, if You punish me, then this befits me, but if You forgive me, then it befits You.
اے معبود! اگر تو مجھے عذاب دے تو میں اسی لائق ہوں اگر تو مجھے بخش دے تو یہ تیرے شایانِ شان ہے۔
