Dua of Ghusl-e-Juma

غسل جمعہ کی دعا

Imam Reza (a) narrates: “Performing ghusl on Friday is desirable which is equal to an obligation. Do not avoid it while you are at home or on a journey. It is enough to perform after sunrise but it is better if it is nearer to noon. If anyone forgets to perform ghusl on Friday, then have it next morning, till the time of Asr next day or whenever you recollect it. Recite this supplication after performing ghusl…”

امام رضاؑ فرماتے ہے کہ جمعہ کے دن غسل کرنا بہت اہم ہے اور وہ واجب کے برابر ہے۔ اسے ترک نہ کرو جب تم گھر میں ہو یا سفر میں۔ طلوع آفتاب کے وقت غسل کرنا کافی ہے مگر ظہر سے پہلے انجام دینا زیادہ بہتر ہے۔ اگر کوئی شخص جمعہ کے دن غسل کرنا بھول جائے تو اسے چاہیے کہ وہ دوسرے دن عصر کے وقت تک یا جب بھی اسے یاد آئے غسل جمعہ کی نیت سے انجام دے۔ غسل کے بعد یہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ طَهِّرْنِيْ وَطَهِّرْ قَلْبِيْ وَانْقِ غُسْلِيْ وَاَجْرِ عَلٰى لِسَانِيْ ذِكْرَكَ وَذِكْرَ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ التَّوَّابِيْنَ وَمِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِيْنَ۔

Allaahumma tahhirnee wa tahhir qalbee wan qe ghuslee wa ajre a’laa lesaanee zikraka wa zikra nabiyyeka mohammadin sallal laaho a’layhe wa aalehi waj a’lnee menat tawwaabeena wa menal motatahhereen.

O Allah! Purify me and purify my heart, adorn my bath, and make Your remembrance and remembrance of Your prophet Muhammad, peace of Allah be on him and his progeny, flow on my tongue. Make me amongst the repentant and the purified ones.

اے اللہ! پاک کر مجھے اور میرے دل کو، زینت عطا کر میرے اس غسل کو، اور جاری کر میری زبان پر تیری یاد اور تیرے رسول محمدؐ کی یاد کو۔ مجھے توبہ کرنے والے اور طہارت والوں میں قرار دے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin

Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
