اس وقت حضرت نے اس دعا کے بعد دائیں اور بائیں دیکھا اور فرمایا کیا تم جانتے ہو حضرت امیرالمومنین سجدہ شکر میں کیا پڑھتے تھے میں نے عرض کیا کہ کیا پڑھتے تھے فرمایا پڑھتے تھے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
یَا مَنْ لَا یَزِیْدُهٗ اِلْحَاحُ الْمُلِحِّیْنَ اِلَّا جُوْدًا وَكَرَمًا، یَا مَنْ لَهٗ خَزَائِنُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ، یَا مَنْ لَهٗ خَزَائِنُ مَا دَقَّ وَجَلَّ، لَا تَمْنَعُكَ اِسَائَتِیْ مِنْ اِحْسَانِكَ اِلَیَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْاَلُكَ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِیْ مَا اَنْتَ اَهْلُهٗ، وَاَنْتَ اَهْلُ الْجُوْدِ وَالْكَرَمِ وَالْعَفْوِ یَا رَبَّاهُ یَا اَللهُ، اِفْعَلْ بِیْ مَا اَنْتَ اَهْلُهٗ، فَاَنْتَ قَادِرٌ عَلَی الْعُقُوْبَۃِ وَ قَدِ اسْتَحْقَقْتُهَا، لَا حُجَّۃَ لِیْ، وَلَا عُذْرَ لِیْ عِنْدَكَ، اَبُوْئُ اِلَیْكَ بِذُنُوْبِیْ كُلِّهَا، وَاَعْتَرِفُ بِهَا كَیْ تَعْفُوَ عَنِّیْ، وَاَنْتَ اَعْلَمُ بِهَا مِنِّیْ، بُؤْتُ اِلَیْكَ بِكُلِّ ذَنْبٍ اَذْنَبْتُهٗ، وَبِكُلِّ خَطِیْئَۃٍ اَخْطَاْتُهَا، وَبِكُلِّ سَیِّئَۃٍ عَمِلْتُهَا، یَا رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِیْ وَارْحَمْ وَتَجَاوَزْ عَمَّا تَعْلَمُ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْاَعَزُّ الْاَكْرَمُ۔
Yaa man laa yazeeduhoo ilhaahu al-mulihheena illaa joodan wakaraman, yaa man lahoo khazaa'inu as-samaawaati wal-ardi, yaa man lahoo khazaa'inu maa daqqa wajalla, laa tamna'uka isaa'atee min ihsaanika ilayya innee as'aluka an taf'ala bee maa anta ahluhoo, wa-anta ahlu al-joodi wal-karami wal-'afwi yaa rabbaahu yaa allaahu, if'al bee maa anta ahluhoo, fa-anta qaadirun 'alaa al-'uqoobati wa qadi istahqaqtuhaa, laa hujjata lee, walaa 'uzra lee 'indaka, aboo'u ilayka bizunoobee kullihaa, wa-a'tarifu bihaa kay ta'fuwa 'annee, wa-anta a'lamu bihaa minnee, bu'tu ilayka bikulli zanbin aznabtuhoo, wabikulli khatee'atin akhta'tuhaa, wabikulli sayyi'atin 'amiltuhaa, yaa rabbi ighfir lee warham watajaawaz 'ammaa ta'lamu innaka anta al-a'azzu al-akram.
O He who’s not exceeded by the persistence of the persistent except for Generosity and Kindness, O He who owns the treasures of the Heavens and the Earth, O He who owns the treasures of all the big and small things, my sins do not prevent You from Your Favours towards me. Indeed I beseech You to do with me that which You are worthy of, and You are worthy of Generosity and Kindness and Forgiveness. O My Lord, O Allah, do with me what You are worthy of, thus You have Power over punishment and verily I deserve it, I do not have any argument for myself, nor any excuse for myself near You, I present all my sins before You and I confess upon all of them so that You Forgive me, and You Know them better than I do, I confess about every sin I committed and every mistake I did and every wrongdoing I enacted, O My Lord, forgive me and have Mercy upon me and pardon me from all that You know, indeed You are the Most Mighty and the Most Generous.
اے وہ ذات کہ مانگنے والوں کا مسلسل اصرار بھی تجھے مزید بڑھاتا ہے تو صرف جود و کرم میں! اے وہ جس کے پاس آسمانوں اور زمین کے خزانے ہیں! اے وہ جس کے پاس ہر چھوٹی بڑی چیز کے خزانے ہیں! میری بداعمالی تجھے مجھ پر احسان کرنے سے نہ روکے۔ میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ میرے ساتھ وہ معاملہ فرما جو تیری شان کے لائق ہے اور تو جود، کرم اور عفو کا اہل ہے۔ اے میرے رب! اے اللہ! میرے ساتھ وہی کر جو تیری شان کے لائق ہے۔ تو سزا دینے پر قادر ہے، اور میں اس سزا کا مستحق بھی ہو چکا ہوں۔ میرے پاس نہ کوئی دلیل ہے، نہ تیرے حضور کوئی عذر۔ میں اپنے تمام گناہوں کے ساتھ تیری طرف رجوع کرتا ہوں اور ان کا اقرار کرتا ہوں، تاکہ تو مجھے معاف فرما دے اور تو تو ان کو مجھ سے بھی زیادہ جانتا ہے۔ میں تیری بارگاہ میں ہر اس گناہ کے ساتھ حاضر ہوں جو میں نے کیا، اور ہر اس خطا کے ساتھ جو مجھ سے ہوئی، اور ہر اس برائی کے ساتھ جو میں نے انجام دی۔ اے میرے رب! مجھے بخش دے، مجھ پر رحم فرما، اور جسے تو جانتا ہے اس سے درگزر فرما۔ بے شک تو ہی سب سے زیادہ عزت والا، سب سے زیادہ کرم فرمانے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
