دعا سجده شکر ۔۱۲

1. In the book of Makarim Akhlaq too, Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have related that the Holy Prophet (s) passed by a prostrating man and could hear him saying this supplicatory prayer…

   مکارم الاخلاق میں امام جعفر صادقؑ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول خداؐ کا گزر ایک شخص کے پاس سے ہوا جو سجدے میں یہ کہہ رہا تھا۔۔۔

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. يَا رَبِّ مَاذَا عَلَيْكَ اَنْ تُرْضِىَ عَنِّىْ كُلَّ مَنْ كَانَ لَهٗ عِنْدِىْ تَبِعَةٌ وَاَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِىْ ذُنُوْبِىْ وَاَنْ تُدْخِلَنِى الْجَنَّةَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ فَاِنَّمَا عَفْوُكَ عَنِ الظَّالِمِيْنَ وَاَنَا مِنَ الظَّالِمِيْنَ فَلْتَسَعْنِىْ رَحْمَتُكَ يا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔

   YAA RABBI MAAZAA 'ALAYKA AN TURDIYA 'ANNEE KULLA MAN KAANA LAHOO 'INDEE TABI'ATUN WA-AN TAGHFIRA LEE ZUNOOBEE WA-AN TUDKHILANEE AL-JANNATA BIRAHMATIKA FA-INNAMAA 'AFWUKA 'ANI AZ-ZAALIMEENA WA-ANAA MINA AZ-ZAALIMEENA FALTASA'NEE RAHMATUKA YAA ARHAMA AR-RAAHIMEEN.

   My Lord, what would it cost You to make pleased with me everyone who has a claim against me, to forgive my sins, and to admit me into Paradise by Your mercy? For You pardon the wrongdoers and I am among the wrongdoers so let Your mercy encompass me, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

   اے پروردگار!تجھے کیا فرق پڑے گا کہ تو ہر ایسے شخص کو مجھ سے راضی کردے جس کا کوئی حق میرے ذمہ ہے اور یہ کہ تو میرے گناہ معاف کر دے اور اپنی رحمت سے مجھ کو جنت میں داخل کر دے کیونکہ يقينًا تو ظالموں کو معاف کرتا ہے اور میں بھی ظالموں میں سے ہوں تو تیری رحمت مجھ پر چھا جائے اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے۔

4. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔

5. The Holy Prophet (s) said to him, “Raise your head. Your prayer has been responded to. You have just prayed Allah with the supplicatory prayer of a prophet who lived among the people of Aad.”

   اس وقت آنحضرتؐ نے اس شخص سے فرمایا کہ اپنا سر اٹھا لو کہ تمہاری دعا قبول ہو گئی ہے، اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ تم نے اس پیغمبر کی دعا پڑھی ہے جو قوم عاد میں آئے تھے۔
