Through several valid chains of authority, Imam Sadiq (a) and Imam Kazim (a) are reported to have very frequently said the following supplicatory prayer when they did the thanksgiving prostrations…
بہت ہی معتبر روایات میں منقول ہے کہ امام جعفر صادقؑ اور امام موسیٰ کاظمؑ سجدہ شکر میں بکثرت یہ کہا کرتے تھے۔۔۔
اَسْئَلُكَ الرَّاحَةَ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَالْعَفْوَ عِنْدَ الْحِسَابِ۔
AS'ALUKA AR-RAAHATA 'INDA AL-MAWTI WAL-'AFWA 'INDA AL-HISAAB.
I ask You for comfort at the time of death, and pardon (forgiveness) at the time of reckoning (accounting).
خدایا میں تجھ سے موت کے وقت راحت اور حساب کے وقت درگزر کاسوالی ہوں۔
