Dua’e Maknoon & its Merits
دعا مکنون اور یس کی فضیلت
Al-Tusi, Ibn Baabwayh, and others have reported through valid chains of authority that Imam Ali (a) said, “Whoever wishes that he leaves this worldly life as pure of sins as untainted gold and none will demand him to be sued for a wrongdoing, must recite 12 times after each of the five obligatory prayers the Chapter that describes Almighty Allah; namely, Surah Ikhlaas. ابن بابويہ(رح)، شيخ طوسی(رح)، اور ديگر علمائ نے معتبر اسناد کے ساتھ امير المومنين سے روايت کی ہے کہ جو شخص يہ چاہتا ہے کہ وه دنيا سے اس حال ميں رخصت ہو کہ گناہوں سے اسطرح پاک ہو جيسے سونا کندن بنا ہوا ہو اور وه يہ بھی چاہتا ہو کہ قيامت والے دن کوئی شخص اس سے ظلم کی دادخواہی نہ کرے تو اسے چاہيے کہ پنجگانہ نمازوں کے بعد سورۂ اخلاص باره مرتبہ پڑھے اورپھر اپنے ہاتھ آسمان کی طرف بلند کر کے درج ذيل دُعا پڑھے:اور حضرت نے فرمايا کہ يہ دعا اس پوشيده رازوں ميں سے ہے کہ جسے رسول لله نے مجھے تعليم دی اور مجھے حکم ديا کہ حسن(ع) اور حسين (ع) کو تعلم دوں اور وه دعا يہ ہے ۔۔۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنّىْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْمَكْنُوْنِ الْمَخْزُوْنِ الطَّاهِرِ الطُّهْرِ الْمُبَارَكِ وَاَسْئَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْعَظِيْمِ وَسُلْطَانِكَ الْقَدِيْمِ يَاوَاهِبَ الْعَطَايَا وَيَامُطْلِقَ الْاُسْارٰى وَيَا فَكَّاكَ الرِّقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ۔
اَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاَنْ تُعْتِقَ رَقَبَتِىْ مِنَ النَّارِ وَاَنْ تُخْرِجَنِىْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا سَالِمًا وَّ اَنْ تُدْخِلَنِى الْجَنَّةَ آمِنًا وَّاَنْ تَجْعَلَ دُعَآئِىْ اَوَّلَهٗ فَلَاحًا وَّاَوْسَطَهٗ نَجَاحًا وَّآخِرَهٗ صَلَاحًا اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوْبِ۔
Allaahumma innee as-aloka bisme-kal maknoo-nil makhzoo-nit taahe-rit toh-ril mobaa-ra-ke wa as-aloka bisme-kal a’zeeme wa sul-taane-kal qadee-me yaa waahe-bal a’taa-yaa wa yaa mutle-qal usraa wa yaa fakkaa-kar re-qaabe menan naare.
As-aloka an to-salle a’laa mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin wa an to’te-qa raqa-batee minan naare wa an tukh-re ja-nee minad dunyaa saale-man wa (an) tud khela-nil jannata aame-nan wa an taj-a’la do-aa’-ee aw-wala-hu fa-laa han wa aw sata-hu najaa-han wa aa-khera-hu salaa-han inna-ka anta a’llaa-mul gho-yoob.
O Allah, I beseech Thee in the name of Thy well-guarded, treasured, pure, chaste, and blessed name; and I beseech Thee in the name of Thy Great name, Thy Kingdom is eternal, O He who makes many generous presents, O He who sets slaves free, O He who loses and unties the throttling ties around the neck in the fire of Hell. I beseech Thee (that) Thou send blessings on Muhammad and on the Children of Muhammad, and set my neck free from the burning inferno; make my exit from this world calm and peaceful, and my entry in Paradise safe and easy, settle my supplication (as under): Let the first be a total liberation, the middle a whole success, let the last be a beautiful order of lasting peace. Verily Thou art well aware of all that is hidden and invisible.
اے ﷲ! میں تیرے پوشیدہ، مخزون ،پاک اور پاک کرنے والے بابرکت نام کے ساتھ سوال کرتا ہوں اور تیرے بلند تر نام اور قدیم سلطنت کے واسطے سے سائل ہوں کہ اے انمول نعمتیں دینے والے ،اے قیدیوں کو رہائی عطا کرنے والے، اے بندوں کو جہنم سے نجات دینے والے! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ محمدؐ وآلؑ محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما اور میری گردن کو آگ سے آزاد کر دے اور مجھے دنیا سے سالم ایمان کے ساتھ لے جا ، اور امن وامان سے مجھے جنت میں داخل فرما اور میری دعا کے اول کوفلاح اور اوسط کو کامیابی اور آخر کو بہتری کا سبب بنا دے۔بے شک تو ہر غیب کوخوب جانتا ہے ۔

دگر روایات میں یہ دعا اس طرح سے ہے۔۔۔
يَا فَكَّاكَ الرِّقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ اَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّىَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تُعْتِقَ رَقَبَتِىْ مِنَ النَّارِ وَاَنْ تُخْرَجَنِىْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا سَالِمًا وَتُدْخِلَنِى الْجَنَّةَ آمِنًا وَاَنْ تَجْعَلَ دُعَاۗئِىْ اَوَّلَهٗ فَلَاحًا وَاَوْسَطَهٗ نَجَاحًا وَآخِرَهٗ صَلَاحًا اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوْبِ۔

اے بندوں کو جہنم سے نجات دینے والے! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ پر رحمت فرما اور میری گردن کو آگ سے آزاد کر دے اور مجھے دنیا سے سالم ایمان کے ساتھ لے جا ، اور امن وامان سے مجھے جنت میں داخل فرما اور میری دعا کے اول کوفلاح اور اوسط کو کامیابی اور آخر کو بہتری کا سبب بنا دے،بے شک تو ہر غیب کوخوب جانتا ہے۔
