حسین ابن سعید نے کتاب دعا میں امام رضاؑ سے روایت کی ہے کہ امامؑ نے فرمایا: ایک مرتبہ ہماری کنیز کی گردن پر تپ دق دکھائی دیا، اور کوئی آ کر مجھ سے کہنے لگا، اے علی! اُسے مسلسل یہ ذکر پڑھنے کے لئے کہو۔ امامؑ نے فرمایا: اُس نے ویسا ہی کیا جیسے اُس سے کہا گیا تھا اور اللہ تعالی نے اُسے شفاء عطا کی۔۔۔
يَا رَءُوْفُ يَا رَحِيْمُ يَا رَبِّ يَا سَيِّدِيْ۔
YAA RAOOFO, YAA RAHEEMO, YAA RABBE, YAA SAYYADI.
O Compassionate, O Merciful, O Lord, O my Master.
اے مہربان، اے رحیم، اے پالنے والے ، اے میرے مولا۔
