دفن میت کے آداب
When the coffin is brought to the grave, it must be left at the backside of it. Then, it must be approached towards the grave in 3 stages. If the dead person is a woman, then the coffin must be put in front of the grave towards the qiblah direction. Then, the dead person’s heir or the person deputized by the heir to do so may go down the grave. Meanwhile, he is recommended to say this supplicatory prayer…
جب جنازے کو قبر کے نزدیک لائیں تو اگر میت مرد کی ہے تو اسے قبر کی پائینتی کی طرف لے جائیں اور قبر کے کنارے تک لے جاتے ہوئے ۳ مرتبہ اٹھائیں اور زمین پر رکھیں۔ پھر قبر میں اتاریں، اگر میت عورت کی ہے تو اسے قبر کے کنارے قبلہ کی طرف لائیں پھر قبر میں اتاریں میت کا وارث یا کوئی اور شخص جس کو ولی نے اجازت دی ہو کہ وہ پائینتی کی طرف سے قبر میں اترے کہ یہی قبر کا دروازہ ہے اور جب وہ قبر میں اتر جائے تو یہ کہے۔۔۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْهَا رَوْضَةً مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَلَا تَجْعَلْهَا حُفْرَةً مِنْ حُفَرِ النَّار۔
ALLAAHUMMA IJ'ALHAA RAWDATAN MIN RIYAADI AL-JANNATI, WALAA TAJ'ALHAA HUFRATAN MIN HUFARI AN-NAAR.
O Allah, (please) make this grave to be one of the gardens of Paradise, but do not make it to be one of the holes of the Fire.
اے معبود! تو اسے جنت کے باغوں میں ایک باغ بنا دے اور اسے جہنم کے گڑھوں میں سے ایک گڑھا نہ بنا۔
The burier is required to go down to the grave barefooted, bareheaded, and having the buttons of his shirt unfastened. Receiving the dead body, he should begin with the head to take it down to the grave. Meanwhile, he should say these words…
مناسب ہے کہ قبر میں اترنے والا وہ شخص سر برہنہ اور پا برہنہ ہو اور اپنے بٹن کھول دے وہ میت کو قبر میں اتار نے کے لیے اٹھائے اور سر کی طرف اسے قبر میں لے جا کر یہ کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَبِاللهِ وَفِىْ سَبِيْلِ اللهِ وَعَلٰى مِلَّةِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اِيْمَانًا بِكَ وَتَصْدِيْقًا بِكِتَابِكَ هٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللهُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ وَصَدَقَ اللهُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ زِدْنَا اِيْمَانًا وَتَسْلِيْمًا۔
BISMI ALLAAHI WABILLAAHI WAFEE SABEELI ALLAAHI WA'ALAA MILLATI RASOOLI ALLAAH. ALLAAHUMMA EEMAANAN BIKA WATASDEEQAN BIKITAABIKA HAAZAA MAA WA'ADANAA ALLAAHU WARASOOLUHOO WASADAQA ALLAAHU WARASOOLUH. ALLAAHUMMA ZIDNAA EEMAANAN WATASLEEMAA.
In the Name of Allah, in Allah, on the way of Allah, and following the principles of Allah’s Messenger. O Allah, (this is on the basis of the) belief in You and giving credence to Your Book. This is what Allah and His Messenger promised us, and Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth. O Allah, (please) increase us faith and submission (to You).
ﷲ کے نام اور ﷲ کی ذات سے، ﷲ کی راہ میں اور رسول ﷲؐ کے دین پر۔ اے معبود! تجھ پر ایمان اور تیری کتاب کی تصدیق کرتے ہوئے، یہی چیز ہے جس کا ﷲ و رسولؐ نے ہم سے وعدہ کیا اور ﷲ اور اس کے رسولؐ نے سچ فرمایا۔ اے معبود! ہمارے ایمان و تسلیم میں اضافہ فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Then, the burier should make the dead body lie down on the right side facing the qiblah direction. He should then unknot the knots of the shrouds from the sides of the head and the legs. He should then put the cheek of the dead person on the soil. It is recommended to put with the dead body an amount of soil taken from the tomb of Imam Husain (a). He should then line up bricks on the dead body and say these words meanwhile…
اب میت کو داہنی کروٹ لٹا دے، اس کے بدن کا رخ قبلہ کی طرف کر کے کفن کے بند کھول کر اس کے رخسار کو زمین پر رکھ دے، مستحب ہے کہ اس کے ساتھ خاک شفا بھی رکھے اور پھر قبر پر اینٹیں چن دے اور اینٹیں چننے والا شخص یہ پڑھے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صِلْ وَحْدَتَهٗ وَآنِسْ وَحْشَتَهٗ وَارْحَمْ غُرْبَتَهٗ وَاَسْكِنْ اِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ رَحْمَةً يَسْتَغْنِىْ بِهَا عَنْ رَحْمَةِ مَنْ سِوَاكَ وَاحْشُرْهُ مَعَ مَنْ كَانَ يَتَوَلَّاهُ مِنَ الْاَئِمَّةِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ۔
ALLAAHUMMA SIL WAHDATAHOO WA-AANIS WAHSHATAHOO WARHAM GHURBATAHOO WA-ASKIN ILAYHI MIN RAHMATIKA RAHMATAN YASTAGHNEE BIHAA 'AN RAHMATI MAN SIWAAKA WAHSHURHU MA'A MAN KAANA YATAWALLAAHU MINA AL-A'IMMATI AT-TAAHIREEN.
O Allah, (please) maintain (communion) his loneliness, entertain his lonesomeness, have mercy upon his seclusion, put with him part of Your mercy due to which he will dispense with the mercy of anyone other than You, and resurrect him with those to whom he has been loyal; namely, the Immaculate Imams, peace be upon them.
اے معبود! اس کی تنہائی کا ساتھی رہ، خوف میں ہم دم بن اور اس کی بے کسی پر رحم فرما، اپنی رحمتوں سے خاص رحمت اس کے ساتھ کر دے، اس کے ذریعے اسے اپنے غیر کی رحمت سے بے نیاز کر دے، اس کو پاک ائمہؑ کے ساتھ محشور فرما جن سے وہ محبت رکھتا تھا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
