For Asma binte Umais

اسماء بنت عمیس کے لیئے

1. It is narrated that she said to Asma: I have turned feeble and the flesh of my body has melted; will you not make something to conceal my body? till the narrator said: Asma called for a plank and placed it down, then she called for some wood of the palm-tree and fixed it upon the plank. Then she placed a cloth upon it. Fatima (s) said, Make a similar one for me and then conceal me in it (after my death)…

   روایت ہے کہ حضرت زہرا نے اسماء بنت عمیس سے کہا، میں کمزور ہو گئی ہوں اور میرا گوشت ختم ہو گیا ہے کیامجھے کوئی ایسی چیز نہیں دیں گی جو مجھے ڈھانپ لے، کہاجاتا ہے کہ اسماء لکڑیوں سے بنا ہوا تختہ لائیں اور زمین پر رکھ دیا اور پھر لکڑی کے چھوٹے چھوٹے ٹکڑوں کو میخوں سے تختہ کے اطراف میں کھڑا کردیا اور ایک کپڑے سے اس کو ڈھانپ دیا۔ جناب زہرا نے اس تختے کو دیکھا تو فرمایا کہ یونہی میرے لئے درست کرو اور مجھے چھپا دو۔۔۔

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. سَتَرَكِ اللهُ مِنَ النَّارِ۔

   SATARAKI ALLAAHU MINA AN-NAAR.

   May Allah protect you from the fire.

   خداوند تجھے آتش جہنم سے چھپائے۔

4. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
