Namaz-e-Mazloom
نمازِ مظلوم
Namaz-e-Mazloom, the prayer of the oppressed, is a supplication for one who has been wronged. The reciter turns to Allah — who has appointed a day to take retribution for the oppressed from the oppressors — laying their grievance before Him rather than despairing at the respite granted to the wrongdoer. It is recited by those seeking Allah’s justice against oppression.
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنَّ لَكَ یَوْمًا تَنْتَقِمُ فِیْهِ لِلْمَظْلُمِ مِنَ الظَّالِمِ، لٰكِنَّ هَلَعِیْ وَجَزَعِیْ لَا یَبْلُغَانِ بِیَ الصَّبْرَ عَلٰی اَنَاتِكَ وَحِلْمِكَ، وَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ اَنَّ فَلَانًا ظَلَمَنِیْ، وَاعْتَدٰی عَلَیَّ بِقُوَّتِهٖ عَلٰی ضَعْفِیْ، فَاَسْئَلُكَ یَا رَبَّ الْعِزَّۃِ، وَقَاسِمَ الْاَرْزَاقِ، وَقَاصِمَ الْجَبَابِرَۃِ، وَنَاصِرَ الْمَظْلُوْمِیْنَ۔ اَنْ تُرِیْهُ قُدْرَتَكَ، اَقْسَمْتُ عَلَیْكَ یَا رَبَّ الْعِزَّۃِ، اَلسَّاعَۃَ السَّاعَۃَ۔
Allaahumma inna laka yawman tanta-qemo feehe lil mazloome minaz zaaleme, laa-kinna hala-ee’ wa jaza-ee’ laa yablo-ghaane be-yas sabra a’laa anaa-teka wa hilme-ka, wa qad a’lim-ta anna falaa-nan zala-manee, wa’ta-daa a’laiyya be-quwwate-hi a’laa za’fee, fa-as-aloka yaa rabbal i’zza-te, wa qaase-mal arzaa-qe, wa qaase-mal jabaabe-rate, wa naase-ral mazloo-meena.
An toree-ho qudrata-ka, aq-samto a’laiy-ka yaa rabbal i’zzate, as-saa-a’tas saa-a’ta.
O Allah, You have a day when You will take revenge from the oppressors for the oppressed, but my impatience and restlessness does not let me endure the respite You have granted the oppressors. O Allah, You are fully aware that so and so person has transgressed upon me, and has violated my rights using the power and ability he possesses against my feebleness, thus O Allah the Holder of dignity, O distributer of sustenance, O helper and victory-giver of the oppressed, I ask You to exhibit Your power and might before him, O glorious Allah, I adjure You to perform this act in this moment, in this moment.
اے اللہ! بے شک تیرے یہاں ایک ایسا دن ہے جس میں تو مظلوم کے لیے ظالم سے انتقام لیتا ہے، لیکن میری گھبراہٹ اور بے قراری مجھے تیری مہلت اور تیرے حلم پر صبر کرنے نہیں دیتی۔ اور تو جانتا ہے کہ فلاں شخص نے مجھ پر ظلم کیا ہے، اور اپنی قوت کے بل پر میری کمزوری سے فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے مجھ پر زیادتی کی ہے۔ پس میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں، اے عزت کے رب! اے رزق تقسیم کرنے والے! اے سرکشوں کو توڑنے والے! اے مظلوموں کی مدد کرنے والے! کہ تو اسے اپنی قدرت دکھا دے۔ میں تجھ پر قسم دیتا ہوں، اے عزت کے رب! اسی گھڑی، اسی لمحے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
