Namaz of 15th Shaban

۱۵ شعبان کی نماز

1. Ali Ibn Fazzaal reports that when his father asked Imam Ali Reza (a) about the excellence of 15th Shabaan, he (a) said: “It is the night to get released from the Fire. On that night major sins will be forgiven.” I said, “Are there any additional prayers for that night?” The Imam (a) said, “It does not have any especial prayers. However, if you like to do a recommendable act on that night you can pray Namaz of Ja’far’e Tayyaar and mention Allah, Mighty and Majestic be He, ask for forgiveness and supplicate a lot.” Because my father (a) has said, “Supplications are accepted (fulfilled) on that night.’ I said, “The people say that that night is the night of ‘Sekak’۔” The Imam (a) said, “That is the Night of Power (Qadr) in the month of Ramazan.”

   علی ابن فضال نقل کرتے ہے کہ جب اُن کے والد نے امام علی رضاؑ سے ۱۵ شعبان کے متعلق پوچھا، تو امامؑ نے فرمایا: یہ شب جہنم کی آگ سے آزاد ہونے کی ہے۔ اس رات میں زیادہ تر گناہ بخش دیے جاتے ہیں۔ میں نے پوچھا کہ کیا کوئی خاص نماز ہے اس شب میں؟ امامؑ نے فرمایا، کوئی خاص نماز نہیں، مگر اگر تم کوئی عمل انجام دینا چاتے ہو تو نماز جعفرِ طیارؑ انجام دو اور اللہ تعالی سے زیادہ سے زیادہ مغفرت اور حاجات طلب کرو۔ کیونکہ میرے والد بزرگوار نے فرمایا کہ اس شب میں دعائیں مستجاب ہوتی ہے۔ میں نے کہا: لوگ کہتے ہے کہ وہ تو شبِ قدر ہے؟ امامؑ نے فرمایا، وہ شبِ قدر کی رات تو ماہِ رمضان میں ہے۔
