Prohibition on inclination towards Wrongdoers
ظالموں کی طرف تھوڑا سا جھکاؤ بھی پیدا نہ کرو
In Surah Hud, Almighty Allah says (11:113)…
مزید یہ بھی یاد رکھنا چاہیے کہ ﷲ تعالیٰ نے سورۂ ہود(آیت۱۱۳) میں فرمایا ہے۔۔۔
وَلَا تَرْكَنُوْٓا اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللهِ مِنْ اَوْلِيَاۗءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنْصَرُوْنَ
Wa laa tarkanooo ilal lazeena zalamoo fatamassa kumun naaru wa maa lakum min doonil laahi min awliyaaa’a summa laa tunsaroon.
And do not incline to those who are unjust, lest the fire touch you, and you have no guardians besides Allah, then you shall not be helped.
اور خبردار تم لوگ ظالموں کی طرف جھکاؤ اختیار نہ کرنا کہ جہنّم کی آگ تمہیں چھولے گی اور خدا کے علاوہ تمہارا کوئی سرپرست نہیں ہوگا اور تمہاری مدد بھی نہیں کی جائے گی۔
The expression ‘inclination’ mentioned in this holy verse has been interpreted by exegetes of the Holy Qur’an into little tendency. If the result of little tendency to the wrongdoers is Hellfire and loss of any supporter against Almighty Allah, then what should the case be with those who commit excessive tendency towards them? Other exegetes of the Holy Qur’an maintain that inclination towards the wrongdoers stand for having a role in their acts of injustice and in their wrongdoings, showing approval of their deeds, and showing loyalty to them. The Ahle-Bayt (a) are reported to have said, “Inclination towards the wrongdoers stands for bearing love for them, acting towards them sincerely, and obeying them.”
اس آیت کی تفسیر میں مفسرین کا کہنا ہے : ظالموں کی طرف تھوڑا سا جھکاؤ بھی پیدا نہ کرو چہ جا ئیکہ بہت سارا جھکاؤ پیدا کیا جائے کیوں کہ اس سے جہنم کی آگ تمہیں اپنی لپیٹ میں لے لے گی۔ بعض مفسرین کا قول ہے : جس قسم کے جھکاؤ سے روکا گیا ہے وہ ظالموں کے ظلم میں شریک ہونا، ان کے کاموں سے راضی ہونا اور ان سے محبت کا اظہار کرنا ہے، روایاتِ اہل بیت ؑمیں وارد ہوا ہے : ’’رکون‘‘ سے مراد ان کے ساتھ محبت کرنا، ان کی خیر خواہی اور ان کی اطاعت کرنا ہے۔
