1. It was said in Al-Kalamu Tayyib: I have seen the hand writing of some of our companions among the pious and trustworthy ones: I heard in Rajab in the year 1093 A.H. from a brother in Islam, the maid of Suduq who has obtained perfection in humanity and holy attributes, he is by name Al-Ameer Ismail bin Husain beek bin ali bin Suleiman Al-Jaabiri Al-Ansari (may Allah brighten his proofs) saying: I heard Sheikh Hajj Ali Al-Makki saying: I was afflicted with narrowness and difficulties and I feared the destruction of myself, later I came across a wrapped supplication in my pocket that was not given to me by any one, I was then surprised and became confused, after that I saw a pious man in my dream saying:I have given the supplication to you, so offer it you will be saved from your narrowness and difficulties, though it was not obvious to me who speaks to me in my dream, the scene that increases my surprise. Another time I saw the awaiting proof (peace be on him) and said to me: offer the supplication I have given it to you and you should teach those that are in need of it. Consequently, I have implemented it several times and have seen a quick acceptance, then the supplication got out of my hand for some times and I seriously regret its loss by seeking pardon from Allah for my bad deeds, later an unknown person came to me telling me that the supplication fell from me in certain place, and it did not cross my mind to go to such place, I took my supplication and observed a thanksgiving prostration to Allah, the supplication is as follows…

   کتاب الکلم الطیب میں لکھتے ہیں کہ ایک نسخہ سادات اور قابل اطمینان لوگوں کا لکھا ہوا دیکھا اس میں لکھا ہوا تھا ماہ رجب میں ایک ہزار تیرانویں ہجری میں قمری(۱۰۹۳ھ) میں برادر اسمٰعیل بن حسین جابری انصاری سے سنا کہ کہتے تھے کہ شیخ مفتی حاج علی مکی کہتاہے کہ میں دشمنوں کے درمیان ایک حق کو ثابت کرنے کے لئے گرفتار ہوا میں ڈر گیا کہ کہیں میں ھلاک نہ ہوجاؤں اس لئے بہت زیادہ پریشان ہوا ایک دن ایک دعا میری جیب سے ملی میں نے تعجب کیا چونکہ میں نے کسی سے دعا نہیں لی تھی اس واقعہ سے میں حیران تھا یہاں تک کہ ایک رات عالم خواب میں ایک شخص کو دیکھا جو عمدہ لباس میں اور زاہد تھا وہ کہتا تھا فلاں دعا کو میں نے تمہیں دیا تھا اس کو پڑھو تا کہ شدت اور پریشانی سے نجات حاصل کرلو میں اس کہنے والے کو نہیں جانتا تھا اس لئے بہت زیادہ تعجب ہوا دوبارہ امام زمانہ کو خواب میں دیکھا حضرت نے فرمایا جو دعا میں نے تمہیں دی ہے اس کوپڑھ لو یہ دعا جس کو چاہیں یاد کرادیں میں نے کئی دفعہ اس دعا کو پڑھا جلد از جلد میری مشکلات حل ہوئیں اور اس عمل پر میں نے تجربہ کیا ایک مدت کے بعد اس دعا کو گم کردیا بہت زیادہ پریشان ہوا اور افسوس کیا میں اپنے غلط کام سے نادم اور پشیمان ہوا اچانک ایک شخص آیا اور مجھ سے کہا تمہاری دعا فلاں جگہ پر پڑی ہے مجھے نہیں معلوم کہ میں وہاں گیا ہوں گا اور دعا کواٹھایا اور شکرانہ سجدہ شکر ادا کیا اور وہ دعا یہ ہے۔

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. رَبِّ اَسْئَلُكَ مَدَدًا رُوْحَانِيًّا تَقْوٰى بِهِ قُوَايَ الْكُلِّيَّةُ وَالْجُزْئِيَّةُ، حَتّٰى اَقْهَرَ بِمَبَادِيْ نَفْسِيْ كُلَّ نَفْسٍ قَاهِرَةٍ، فَتَنْقَبِضَ لِيْ اِشَارَةُ دَقَآئِقِهَا، اِنْقِبَاضًا تَسْقُطُ بِهِ قُوَاهَا، حَتّٰى لَا يَبْقٰى فِي الْكَوْنِ ذُوْ رُوْحٍ اِلَّا وَنَارُ قَهْرِيْ قَدْ اَحْرَقَتْ ظُهُوْرَهُ۔ يَا شَدِيْدُ، يَا شَدِيْدُ، يَا ذَا الْبَطْشِ الشَّدِيْدِ، يَا قَاهِرُ يَا قَهَّارُ اَسْئَلُكَ بِمَا اَوْدَعْتَهُ عِزْرَآئِيْلَ مِنْ اَسْمَآئِكَ الْقَهْرِيَّةِ، فَانْفَعَلَتْ لَهُ النُّفُوْسُ بِالْقَهْرِ، اَنْ تُوْدِعَنِيْ هٰذَا السِّرَّ فِيْ هٰذِهِ السَّاعَةِ، حَتّٰى اُلَيِّنَ بِهِ كُلَّ صَعْبٍ، وَاُذَلِّلَ بِهِ كُلَّ مَنِيْعٍ، بِقُوَّتِكَ يَا ذَا الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِيْنِ۔

   RABBI AS'ALUKA MADADAN ROOHAANIYYAN TAQWAA BIHI QUWAAYA AL-KULLIYYATU WAL-JUZ'IYYATU, HATTAA AQHARA BIMABAADEE NAFSEE KULLA NAFSIN QAAHIRATIN, FATANQABIDA LEE ISHAARATU DAQAA'IQIHAA, INQIBAADAN TASQUTU BIHI QUWAAHAA, HATTAA LAA YABQAA FEE AL-KAWNI ZOO ROOHIN ILLAA WANAARU QAHREE QAD AHRAQAT ZUHOORAH. YAA SHADEEDU, YAA SHADEEDU, YAA ZAA AL-BATSHI ASH-SHADEEDI, YAA QAAHIRU YAA QAHHAARU AS'ALUKA BIMAA AWDA'TAHU 'IZRAA'EELA MIN ASMAA'IKA AL-QAHRIYYATI, FANFA'ALAT LAHU AN-NUFOOSU BIL-QAHRI, AN TOODI'ANEE HAAZAA AS-SIRRA FEE HAAZIHI AS-SAA'ATI, HATTAA ULAYYINA BIHI KULLA SA'BIN, WA-UZALLILA BIHI KULLA MANEE'IN, BIQUWWATIKA YAA ZAA AL-QUWWATI AL-MATEEN.

   My Lord, I ask You for a spiritual aid by which my general and particular faculties are strengthened, so that by the principles of my soul I overpower every overpowering soul and the subtle signs of its powers contract for me, a contraction by which its powers fall, until there remains no being with a spirit in existence but that the fire of my subduing has burnt its back. O Severe! O Severe! O Possessor of the severe grip! O Subduer! O All-Subduing! I ask You by what You entrusted to Azrael of Your Names of subduing, so that souls yield to him under subjugation, to entrust me with this secret at this very hour, so that by it I may soften every hard thing and humble every unyielding one, by Your strength, O Possessor of firm strength.

   میرے پروردگار! میں تجھ سے روحانی مدد چاہتا ہوں کہ جس کے ذریعہ میرے کلی و جزئی قویٰ قوی ہو جائیں یہاں تک کہ میرے نفس کے مبادی (بنیادی اصولوں) سے ہر قاہر نفس مغلوب ہو جائے اور میرے لیے اس سے باریک اشارہ محدود ہو جائے اور اس سے اس کے قُویٰ شکستہ ہو جائیں یہاں تک کہ دنیا میں کوئی ذی روح ایسا نہ بچے کہ جس کو میرے قہر کی آگ نہ جلا دے۔ اے شدید! اے شدید! اے سخت گرفت کرنے والے! اے قاہر! اے قہار! میں تجھ سے تیرے اس قہری اسم کا سوال کرتا ہوں جو تو نے عزرائیلؑ کو ودیعت کیا ہے کہ جس سے نفوس قہری طور پر متاثر ہو جاتے ہیں۔ مجھے یہ راز تو ابھی بتا دے، تا کہ سخت دشوار کام میرے لیے نرم و آسان ہو جائے اور غالب و زبردست گردن جھکا دے، تیری قوت سے اے زبردست قوت والے۔

4. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔

5. You recite this supplication 3 times early dawn, if possible 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening time. If the situation persists the reader should recite the following 30 times…

   یہ دعا امکان کی صورت میں سحر کے وقت ۳ مرتبہ اور صبح کے وقت ۳ مرتبہ اور رات کے وقت ۳ مرتبہ پڑھی جاتی ہے اگر اس کا کام بہت زیادہ مشکل ہو تو اس دعا کو پڑھنے کے بعد ۳۰ مرتبہ کہو۔۔۔

6. يَا رَحْمَانُ يَا رَحِيْمُ، يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ، اَسْئَلُكَ اللُّطْفَ بِمَا جَرَتْ بِهِ الْمَقَادِيْرُ۔

   YAA RAHMAANU YAA RAHEEMU, YAA ARHAMA AR-RAAHIMEENA, AS'ALUKA AL-LUTFA BIMAA JARAT BIHI AL-MAQAADEER.

   O the Beneficent, O the Merciful, the Most Merciful of the merciful, I ask You for kindness in what the decrees have run with.

   اے رحمٰن اے رحیم، اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے، میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے لطف کے بارے میں جس کےذریعہ سے تقدیر جاری ہوتی ہے۔
