Reward of "La ilaha illallah" 2

لا الہ الا اللہ کہنے کا ثواب۔۲

1. Imam Reza (a) narrated on the authority of his forefathers who on the authority of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (a) who on the authority of the Holy Prophet (s) said…

   امام رضاؑ روایت کرتے ہیں اپنے آبا و اجداد سے اور وہ امام علی ابن ابی طالبؑ سے کہ رسول خداؐ فرماتے ہیں۔۔۔

2. اِنَّ اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ كَلِمَةٌ عَظِيْمَةٌ كَرِيْمَةٌ عَلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَنْ قَالَهَا مُخْلِصًا اسْتَوْجَبَ الْـجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ قَالَهَا كَاذِبًا عَصَمَتْ مَالَهٗ وَدَمَهٗ وَكَانَ مَصِيْرُهٗ اِلَى النَّارِ۔

   INNA ASH-HADO AN LAA ILAAHA ILLAL-LAAHO KALE-MA-TOON A’ZEE-MATOON KAREE-MATOON A’LAL-LAAHE A’ZZA WA JALLA MAN QAA-LAHAA MUKHLE-SAS TAWJA-BAL JANNATA WA MAN QAALA-HAA KAAZE-BAN A’SAMAT MAA LAHU WA DAMAHU WA KAANA MASEE-ROHU ELANNAAR.

   Surely, the sentence, ‘I bear witness that there is no god but Allah’ is a dignified discourse which is very much pompous and magnificent for Allah, the High, whoever recites it with sincere intention, paradise has been made incumbent upon him and whoever do not recite it sincerely and take it as falsehood, he is destined to Hell.

   میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ یہ کلمہ اللہ عزّوجل کے نزدیک بہت عظیم اور بہت باعزّت ہے۔ جو شخص اسے سچے دل اور خلوص کے ساتھ کہتا ہے، اس پر جنت واجب ہو جاتی ہے۔ اور جو شخص اسے جھوٹے طور پر (صرف زبان سے) کہتا ہے، تو یہ کلمہ اس کے مال اور جان کو دنیا میں محفوظ کر دیتا ہے (یعنی اسے مسلمان سمجھا جاتا ہے)، لیکن انجام آخرت میں جہنم کی طرف ہو گا۔
