غروب آفتاب کے اعمال

1. You may say the words of professing that there is no god save Allah and the words of seeking His protection. You may then put your hand on the head and pass it over your face. You may then hold your beard and say the following…

   نیز صبح و شام کی ماثورہ دعائیں پڑھے ۔ اس کے بعد اپنے سر پر ہاتھ پھیرے وہاں سے منہ پرلے آئے اور اپنی داڑھی پکڑکر یہ دعا پڑھے۔۔۔

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. اَحَطْتُ عَلٰى نَفْسِىْ وَاَهْلِىْ وَمَالِىْ وَوَلَدِىْ مِنْ غَائِبٍ وَشَاهِدٍ بِاللهِ الَّذِىْ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الرَّحْمٰنُ الرَّحِيْمُ الْحَىُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ لَا تَاْخُذُهٗ سِنَةٌ وَّلَا نَوْمٌ لَهٗ مَا فِي السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِي الْاَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِيْ يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهٗٓ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِهٖ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيْطُوْنَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهٖٓ اِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَلَا يَئُوْدُهٗ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيْمُ۔

   AHATTU 'ALAA NAFSEE WA-AHLEE WAMAALEE WAWALADEE MIN GHAA'IBIN WASHAAHIDIN BILLAAHI ALLAZEE LAA ILAAHA ILLAA HUWA 'AALIMU AL-GHAYBI WASH-SHAHAADATI AR-RAHMAANU AR-RAHEEMU AL-HAYYU AL-QAYYOOMU LAA TA'KHUZUHOO SINATUN WALAA NAWMUN LAHOO MAA FEE AS-SAMAAWAATI WAMAA FEE AL-ARDI MAN ZAA ALLAZEE YASHFA'U 'INDAHOO ILLAA BI-IZNIHEE YA'LAMU MAA BAYNA AYDEEHIM WAMAA KHALFAHUM WALAA YUHEETOONA BISHAY'IN MIN 'ILMIHEE ILLAA BIMAA SHAA'A WASI'A KURSIYYUHU AS-SAMAAWAATI WAL-ARDA WALAA YA'OODUHOO HIFZUHUMAA WAHUWA AL-'ALIYYU AL-'AZEEM.

   I have surrounded myself, my family, my property and my children, absent and present, (with the protection of) Allah, besides Whom there is no god, the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Beneficent, the Merciful,, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all subsist; slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases, His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Most High, the Great.

   احاطہ کیا میں نے اپنے نفس پر اپنے اہل اپنے مال اور اولاد میں غائب اور حاضر پر اس اللہ کا جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ ظاہر و پوشیدہ سے واقف، رحم والا، مہربان، زندہ و پائندہ ہے، اسے نہ نیند آتی ہے نہ اُونگھ، آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ بھی ہے سب اسی کا ہے، کون ہے جو اس کی بارگاہ میں اس کی اجازت کے بغیر سفارش کرسکے، وہ جو کچھ ان کے سامنے ہے اور جو پس پشت ہے سب کوجانتا ہے اور یہ اس کے علم کے ایک حصّہ کا بھی احاطہ نہیں کرسکتے مگر وہ جس قدر چاہے، اس کی کرسیٔ علم و اقتدار، زمین و آسمان سے وسیع تر ہے اور اسے ان کے تحفظ میں کوئی تکلیف بھی نہیں ہوتی وہ عالی مرتبہ بھی ہے اور صاحبِ عظمت بھی۔

4. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
