Safe from Hell Fire
جہنم کی آگ سے محفوظ
Kulayni (r) and others have reported the following from the Ahlul-Bayt (a) through a considerable chain of authority that if one recites this dua then Almighty Allah will forgive him and will be pleased with him; and all creatures, except men and jinn, will invoke forgiveness upon him until he dies. After each obligatory prayer, one may put his right hand on his beard and raises his left hand towards the sky, repeating the following supplicatory prayer 3 times…
شيخ کلينیؒ اور ديگر علماء نے معتبر سند کے ساتھ اہل بيؑت سے روايت کی ہے کہ جو شخص اس دعا کو پڑھے گا الله تعالیٰ اس کے تمام گناه بخش د ے گا اور اس سے خوشنود ہوگا، جن و انس کے علاوه ديگر مخلوقات بھی اسکی موت تک اس کے لئے استغفار کرتے رہيں گے ۔ ہر نماز کے بعد اپنے دائيں ہاتھ سے اپنی داڑھی پکڑے ہوئے بائيں ہاتھ کو آسمان کی طرف بلند کر کے ۳ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔
يَا ذَاالْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ اِرْحَمْنِىْ مِنَ النَّارِ۔
Yaa zal-jalaale wal ik-raame ir-hamnee menan naar.
O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, have mercy on me and save me from the Fire.
اے دبدبہ و عزت کے مالک آگ کے مقابل مجھ پر رحم فرما۔
He may then repeat the following supplicatory phrase 3 times, too…
اور پھر ۳ مرتبہ کہے ۔۔۔
اَجِرْنِىْ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْاَلِيْمِ۔
A-jir-nee menal ‘azaa-bil aleem.
Protect me from the painful punishment.
مجھ کو دردناک عذاب سے بچالے۔
He may then open his right hand by making its palm face the sky, put it under the beard, and repeat the following supplication 3 times…
اس کے بعد دائيں ہاتھ کو داڑھی سے ہٹا کر دونوں ہاتھ آسمان کی طرف پھيلا کر ۳ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔
يَا عَزِيْزُ يَا كَرِيْمُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا غَفُوْرُ يَا رَحِيْمُ۔
Yaa ‘azee-zo yaa karee-mo yaa rahmaa-no yaa ghafoo-ro yaa raheem.
O Mighty One, O Generous One, O Most Merciful, O Most Forgiving, O Ever-Merciful.
اے غالب اے سخی اے رحم والے اے بخشنے والے اے مہربان۔
He may then turn his hands over, by making their outer part face the sky, and repeat the following supplicatory prayer 3 times…
پھر ہاتھوں کو پلٹا کر يعنی ہتھيلياں نيچے کی طرف کر کے ہاتھ آسمان کی طرف بلندکر کے ۳ مرتبہ کہے۔۔۔
اَجِرْنِىْ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْاَلِيْمِ۔
Ajir-nee menal ‘azaa-bil aleem.
Protect me from the painful punishment.
مجھ کو دردناک عذاب سے بچالے۔
He may then say the following invocation…
اور پھر يہ کہے۔۔۔
وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ وَالْمَلَّاۗئِكَةُ وَالرُّوْحُ۔
Wa sallal-laaho ‘alaa mohammadiw wa aale-hi wal malaaa-e-kato warroo-ho.
And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his family, and (also upon) the angels and the Spirit.
خدا حضرت محمدؐ ان کی آلؑ پر رحمت کرے اور فرشتوں اور روح پر بھی۔
