Seeking divine pleasure

طلبِ رحمت الٰہی

1. Her supplication at the time of her death seeking divine pleasure.

2. It is narrated from Abdullah bin Hasan from his father, from his grandfather that when Fatima, daughter of the Messenger of Allah (s) was in her last moments, she cast a prolonged glance then she said…

   عبداللہ بن حسن، اپنے باپ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ہنگام وفات جناب زہرا نے ایک جانب توجہ کرتے ہوئے یوں فرمایا۔۔۔

3. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

4. اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰی جَبْرَآئِیْلَ، اَلسَّلَامُ عَلٰی رَسُوْلِ اللهِ، اَللّٰهُمَّ مَعَ رَسُوْلِكَ، اَللّٰهُمَّ فِیْ رِضْوَانِكَ وَجِوَارِكَ وَدَارِكَ دَارِ السَّلَامِ۔

   AS-SALAAMU 'ALAA JABRAA'EELA, AS-SALAAMU 'ALAA RASOOLI ALLAAHI, ALLAAHUMMA MA'A RASOOLIKA, ALLAAHUMMA FEE RIDWAANIKA WAJIWAARIKA WADAARIKA DAARI AS-SALAAM.

   Peace be on Jibraeel. Peace be on the Messenger of Allah. O Allah (keep me) with Your Messenger. O Allah (grant me) Your satisfaction, and Your neighborhood and Your abode, the abode of peace.

   حضرت جبرئیل پر سلام، رسول خدا پر سلام، اے پروردگار، مجھے اپنے پیغمبر کی ہمراہی نصیب فرما، اے پروردگار تیرے رضوان میں، تیرے جوار میں، اور اپنے پرامن بہشتی گھر میں ساکن قرار دے۔

5. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔

6. It is narrated from Asma binte Umais that she said: I saw her seated facing the Qibla during her illness, raising her hands to the heavens and saying…

   پھر فرمایا کیا جو میں دیکھ رہی ہوں آپ بھی دیکھ رہے ہیں؟ پوچھا کیا دیکھ رہی ہیں، فرمایا یہ اہل آسمان کے دستے ہیں، یہ جبرئیل اور یہ پیغمبر ہیں جو فرما رہے ہیں اے میری بیٹی آؤ جو کچھ تیرے لئے آگے ہے تیرے لئے بہتر ہے۔

   Then she said: Can you all see what I see? She was asked: What can you see? She replied: These are the groups of the folks of heavens, and this is Jibraeel, and this is the Messenger of Allah, who is saying: Come, my child, whatever is before you is much better for you.
