Tasbeeh made of Khaak’e Shifa

خاک شفاء کی تسبيح

1. It is most favorable to count the number of the statements of Tasbeeh Zahra (s) with a rosary (subhah: a string of 100 beads) made of the soil of Imam Husain (a)’s tomb, which is a tradition in all religious rites. It is also recommended to carry at all times such a rosary, which protects from misfortunes and brings about endless rewards. It is reported that the rosary of Lady Fatema (s) was made of woolen knotted string. She used to turn it with her hand while uttering statements of glorifying and professing Almighty Allah’s all-greatness. When Hamzah ibn Abd Muttalib, may Allah be pleased with him, was martyred, she made a rosary from the soil of his tomb, and people followed her in that. When Imam Husain (a) the master of martyrs was martyred, people used rosaries made of the soil of his tomb. In this respect, the Awaited Imam (a) is reported to have said, “Whoever forgets to mention Almighty Allah while having a rosary made of the soil of Imam Husain (a)’s tomb in the hand, the reward of remembrance will be recorded for him.”

   بہتر يہ ہے کہ خاک شفا کی تسبيح کے دانوں پر اس تعداد کو شمار کرے تمام ذکر واذکار ميں خاک شفا کی تسبيح کا استعمال سنت ہے اور خاک شفا کی تسبيح ہر وقت اپنے پاس رکھنا مستحب ہے يہ تمام بلائوں کا حرز ہے اور بے انتہا ثواب کا موجب ہے۔ منقول ہے کہ ابتدائ ميں حضرت فاطمہ زہراؑ نے پشم کے دھاگوں پر گانٹھيں لگائی ہوئی تھيں اور وه انہی پر يہ تسبيح پڑھا کرتی تھيں۔ جب جناب حمزه بن عبد المطلب شہيد ہو گئے تو حضرت زہراؑنے اس شھيد بزرگوار کی قبر کی مٹی سے تسبيح بنائی اور اس پر پڑھا کرتی تھيں تب دوسرے لوگوں نے بھی اس طريقے کو اختيار کر ليا ليکن جب سيد الشہداء حضرت امام حسيؑن شھيد کر ديئے گے تو سنت قرار پايا کہ اس شہيد مظلومؑ کی قبر کی مٹی (خاک شفا) سے تسبيح تيار کرکے اس کے ذريعے ذکر واذکار پڑھا جائے۔

2. Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have said, “A rosary that is made of the soil of Imam Husain (a)’s tomb glorifies Almighty Allah in the hand of its bearer although the bearer does not say anything.” Imam Sadiq (a) is also reported as saying, “Whoever turns a bead of a rosary made of the soil of Imam Husain (a)’s tomb and implores Almighty Allah’s forgiveness one time, Almighty Allah will record for him the reward of imploring His forgiveness 70 times. If one holds that rosary in the hand without saying anything, 7 rewards for each bead will be recorded for him.” According to another form of this tradition, “If one turns the bead uttering a statement of mentioning Almighty Allah, 40 rewards for each bead will be recorded for him.” It is also reported that the Paradisiacal Women (Hurin), whenever they see an angel descending to the earth for any mission, ask him to bring them rosaries and prostration-clays made of the soil of Imam Husain (a)’s tomb.

   امام زمانہ (عج) فرماتے ہيں کہ جس شخص کے ہاتھ ميں خاک شفا کی تسبيح ہو اور وه ذکر پڑھنا فراموش کر بيٹھے تو بھی اس کے لئے ذکر کا ثواب لکھا جائے گاامام جعفر صادقؑ فرماتے ہيں کہ خاک شفا کی تسبيح خود بخود ذکر اور تسبيح پڑھتی رہتی ہے خواه آدمی نہ بھی پڑھے، يہ بھی فرمايا کہ ايک ذکر يا استغفار جو اس تسبيح سے انجام پائے وه دوسری تسبيحوں کے ساتھ انجام پانے والے ۷۰ ذکر اور استغفار کے برابر ہے۔ اگر کوئی کسی ذکر کے بغير بھی اس کے دانوں کو پھراتا رہے تو بھی اس کےلئے ہر دانہ کے بدلے ۷ تسبيحوں کا ثواب لکھا جاتا ہے۔ ايک دوسری روايت کے مطابق ذکر کے ساتھ پھرائے جانے والے ہر دانے کا ثواب ۴۰ نيکياں لکھی جاتی ہيں۔

3. In an authentic tradition, Imam Musa Kazim (a) is reported to have said, “A true believer must not be lacking 5 things: a teeth-brushing stick (Miswak), a comb, a prostration rug, a 34 bead rosary, and a ring whose stone is made of agate.” Apparently, a pottery rosary is merited, too, although it is preferable that this rosary is made of fireless pottery. Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have said, “Whoever glorifies Almighty Allah with a rosary of the clay of Imam Husain (a)’s tomb, Almighty Allah will record for him 400 rewards, erase 400 sins he has committed, grant him 400 requests, and raise him 400 ranks.” It is also reported that the string of such rosaries may advisably be blue. Some narrations have suggested that it is better for women to use their fingertips in counting, but the narrations that have reported the recommendation of using rosaries made of clay are bigger in number and more authentic.

   ايک روايت ميں ہے کہ حوران جنّت جب کسی فرشتے کو زمين پر آتے ديکھتی ہيں تو اس سے التماس کرتی ہيں کہ وه ان کے ليے تربت سيد الشہداء(خاک شفا) کی تسبيح ليتا آئے حديث صحيح ميں امام موسیٰ کاظمؑ فرماتے ہيں کہ مومن کو پانچ چيزوں سے خالی نہيں ہونا چاہيئے مسواک، کنگھی، جائے نماز، عقيق کی انگوٹھی اور ۳۴ دانوں کی تسبيح اس سلسلے ميں خام اور پختہ دونوں بہتر ہيں ليکن خام زياده بہتر ہے ۔ امام جعفر صادقؑ فرماتے ہيں کہ جو شخص خاک شفا سے ايک تسبيح پڑھتا ہے الله اس کےلئے ۴۰۰نيکياں لکھ ديتا ہے، ۴۰۰گناه مٹا ديتا ہے، ۴۰۰ حاجات پوری کرتا ہے اور ۴۰۰ درجات بلند کرتا ہے۔ روايت ميں يہ بھی ہے کہ اس تسبيح کا دھاگا نيلے رنگ کا ہونا چاہيئے۔ بعض روايات سے معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ عورتوں کےلئے اپنی انگليوں پر تسبيح پڑھنا فضيلت رکھتا ہے ليکن خاک شفا کی فضيلت والی احاديث مطلقاً زياده اور قوی ہيں۔
