Ya Man Fazzala

یَا مَنْ فَضَّلَ

1. Supplication during the time of disappearance and absence.

2. The honorable Sayyid Ali bin Taoos states: I witnessed someone in my dream who taught me a supplication with regard to the time of occultation. It should be recited as follows…

   سید جلیل القدر علی بن طاووس فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے عالم خواب میں کسی کو دیکھا کہ ایک دعا مجھ کو یاد کرارہے تھے اچھا ہے کہ غیبت کے زمانے میں پڑھی جائے۔ اور وہ دعا یہ ہے۔۔۔

3. یَا مَنْ فَضَّلَ آلَ اِبْرَاهِیْمَ وَآلَ اِسْرَائِیْلَ عَلَی الْعَالَمِیْنَ بِاخْتِیَارِهٖ، وَاَظْهَرَ فِیْ مَلَكُوْتِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ عِزَّۃَ اقْتِدَارِهٖ، وَاَوْدَعَ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْهِ وَآلِهٖ وَاَهْلَ بَیْتِهٖ غَرَائِبَ اَسْرَارِهٖ، (صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ)، وَاجْعَلْنِیْ مِنْ اَعْوَانِ حُجَّتِكَ عَلٰی عِبَادِكَ وَاَنْصَارِهٖ۔

   YAA MAN FADDALA AALA IBRAAHEEMA WA-AALA ISRAA'EELA 'ALAA AL-'AALAMEENA BIKHTIYAARIHEE, WA-AZHARA FEE MALAKOOTI AS-SAMAAWAATI WAL-ARDI 'IZZATA IQTIDAARIHEE, WA-AWDA'A MUHAMMADAN SALLAA ALLAAHU 'ALAYHI WA-AALIHEE WA-AHLA BAYTIHEE GHARAA'IBA ASRAARIHEE, (SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALIHEE), WAJ'ALNEE MIN A'WAANI HUJJATIKA 'ALAA 'IBAADIKA WA-ANSAARIH.

   O He who, by His choice, preferred the family of Abraham and the family of Israel over the worlds, who made manifest in the kingdom of the heavens and the earth the might of His power, and who entrusted Muhammad, may Allah bless him and his family, and his Household with the wonders of His secrets: (bless Muhammad and his family), and make me one of the helpers and supporters of Your proof over Your servants.

   اے وہ ذات! جس نے اپنے اختیار سے آلِ ابراہیم اور آلِ اسرائیل کو تمام جہانوں پر فضیلت عطا فرمائی، اور جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہت میں اپنی قدرت و اقتدار کی عزت کو ظاہر فرمایا، اور جس نے حضرت محمدؐ، ان کی آل اور ان کے اہلِ بیتؑ کے سپرد اپنے اسرار کے عجیب و غریب راز رکھ دیے۔ (محمدؐ اور ان کی آلؑ پر درود بھیج) اور مجھے اپنی حجّت کے مددگاروں اور اس کے انصار میں شامل فرما۔

4. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
