Ya saame’a kulle sawtin

يَا سَامِعَ كُلِّ صَوْتٍ

1. Dua after Namaz-e-Zohr for the appearance of Imam Mahdi (a).

2. It was said in Falaahis Sa'il that the most important supplication after (Zuhr)noon prayer is to imitate Imam Sadiq (a) in his supplication for Imam Al-Mahdi (a) which the Prophet has given his glad tidings to his nation in the authentic narrations, Prophet has promised his nation that Imam Al-Mahdi will appear prior to the last hour as Muhammad bin Rahban Dabili has reported: On the authority of Ibad bin Muhammad Mada'in, he said: I arrived near Abu Abdullah in Medina when he finished his noon prayer and I met him raising his hands to the Heaven offering the following supplication…

   کتاب فلاح السائل میں لکھتے ہیں نماز ظہر کے سب سے مہم ترین تعقیبات میں سے امام صادق کی پیروی کرتے ہوئے حضرت مہدی کے لئے دعا کرنا ہے اس کے آنے کی خوشخبری کو امت کے لئے صحیح روایت میں بیان فرمایا ہے آخری زمانہ میں ان کے ظہور کا وعدہ دیا ہے۔ محمد بن رھبان دیلمی سلسلہ سند کے ساتھ ایک روایت عباد بن محمد مداین سے نقل کیا ہے مداینی کہتاہے کہ مدینہ منورہ میں امام صادق کی خدمت میں شرف یاب ہوا تو میں نے دیکھا کہ حضرت نماز ظہر تمام کرنے کے بعد اپنے ہاتھوں کو آسمان کی طرف بلند کر کے فرماتے تھے۔۔۔

3. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

4. يَا سَامِعَ كُلِّ صَوْتٍ، يَا جَامِعَ (كُلِّ فَوْتٍ)، يَا بَارِئَ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ، يَا بَاعِثُ، يَا وَارِثُ، يَا سَيِّدَ السَّادَةِ، يَا اِلٰهَ الْاٰلِهَةِ، يَا جَبَّارَ الْجَبَابِرَةِ، يَا مَلِكَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةِ، يَا رَبَّ الْاَرْبَابِ۔ يَا مَلِكَ الْمُلُوْكِ، يَا بَطَّاشُ، يَا ذَا الْبَطْشِ الشَّدِيْدِ، يَا فَعَّالًا لِمَا يُرِيْدُ، يَا مُحْصِيَ عَدَدِ الْاَنْفَاسِ وَنَقْلِ الْاَقْدَامِ، يَا مَنِ السِّرُّ عِنْدَهُ عَلَانِيَةٌ، يَا مُبْدِئُ، يَا مُعِيْدُ۔ اَسْاَلُكَ بِحَقِّكَ عَلٰى خِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، وَبِحَقِّهِمُ الَّذِيْ اَوْجَبْتَ لَهُمْ عَلٰى نَفْسِكَ، اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ (عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ)، وَاَنْ تَمُنَّ عَلَيَّ السَّاعَةَ السَّاعَةَ بِفِكَاكِ رَقَبَتِيْ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَاَنْجِزْ لِوَلِيِّكَ وَابْنِ نَبِيِّكَ الدَّاعِيْ اِلَيْكَ بِاِذْنِكَ، وَاَمِيْنِكَ فِيْ خَلْقِكَ، وَعَيْنِكَ فِيْ عِبَادِكَ، وَحُجَّتِكَ عَلٰى خَلْقِكَ، عَلَيْهِ صَلَوَاتُكَ وَبَرَكَاتُكَ وَعْدَهُ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اَیِّدْهُ بِنَصْرِكَ، وَانْصُرْ عَبْدَكَ، وَقَوِّ اَصْحَابَهٗ وَصَبِّرْهُمْ، وَافْتَحْ لَهُمْ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَصِیْرًا، وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهٗ، وَاَمْكِنْهُ مِنْ اَعْدَائِكَ وَاَعْدَائِ رَسُوْلِكَ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ۔

   YAA SAAMI'A KULLI SAWTIN, YAA JAAMI'A (KULLI FAWTIN), YAA BAARI'A KULLI NAFSIN BA'DA AL-MAWTI, YAA BAA'ITHU, YAA WAARITHU, YAA SAYYIDA AS-SAADATI, YAA ILAAHA AL-AALIHATI, YAA JABBAARA AL-JABAABIRATI, YAA MALIKA AD-DUNYAA WAL-AAKHIRATI, YAA RABBA AL-ARBAAB. YAA MALIKA AL-MULOOKI, YAA BATTAASHU, YAA ZAA AL-BATSHI ASH-SHADEEDI, YAA FA''AALAN LIMAA YUREEDU, YAA MUHSIYA 'ADADI AL-ANFAASI WANAQLI AL-AQDAAMI, YAA MANI AS-SIRRU 'INDAHU 'ALAANIYATUN, YAA MUBDI'U, YAA MU'EED. AS'ALUKA BIHAQQIKA 'ALAA KHIYARATIKA MIN KHALQIKA, WABIHAQQIHIMU ALLAZEE AWJABTA LAHUM 'ALAA NAFSIKA, AN TUSALLIYA 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AHLI BAYTIHI ('ALAYHI WA'ALAYHIMU AS-SALAAMU), WA-AN TAMUNNA 'ALAYYA AS-SAA'ATA AS-SAA'ATA BIFIKAAKI RAQABATEE MINA AN-NAARI, WA-ANJIZ LIWALIYYIKA WABNI NABIYYIKA AD-DAA'EE ILAYKA BI-IZNIKA, WA-AMEENIKA FEE KHALQIKA, WA'AYNIKA FEE 'IBAADIKA, WAHUJJATIKA 'ALAA KHALQIKA, 'ALAYHI SALAWAATUKA WABARAKAATUKA WA'DAH. ALLAAHUMMA AYYID-HU BINASRIKA, WANSUR 'ABDAKA, WAQAWWI ASHAABAHOO WASABBIRHUM, WAFTAH LAHUM MIN LADUNKA SULTAANAN NASEERAN, WA'AJJIL FARAJAHOO, WA-AMKINHU MIN A'DAA'IKA WA-A'DAA'I RASOOLIKA YAA ARHAMA AR-RAAHIMEEN.

   O Hearer of every voice! O Gatherer of all that has passed away! O Creator of every soul after death! O Resurrector! O Inheritor! O Master of masters! O God of gods! O Compeller of the compellers! O King of this world and the Hereafter! O Lord of lords! O King of kings! O Severe in seizing! O Possessor of the mighty grip! O Doer of whatever He wills! O Counter of the number of breaths and the moving of feet! O He with whom the secret is open! O Originator! O Restorer! I ask You by Your right over the best of Your creation, and by their right which You have made binding upon Yourself for them, to bless Muhammad and his Household (peace be upon him and upon them), to favour me, this very hour, with the freeing of my neck from the Fire, and to fulfil his promise for Your friend (wali), the son of Your Prophet, the caller to You by Your permission, Your trustee among Your creation, Your eye among Your servants and Your proof over Your creation, upon him be Your blessings and favours. O Allah! Support him with Your help, help Your servant, strengthen his companions and give them patience, grant them from Yourself a helping authority, hasten his relief, and give him power over Your enemies and the enemies of Your Messenger, O most Merciful of the merciful!

   اے ہر آواز کو سننے والے! اے ہر فوت ہونے والی چیز کو جمع کرنے والے! اے موت کے بعد ہر جان کو پیدا فرمانے والے! اے دوبارہ اٹھانے والے! اے وارث! اے تمام سادات کے سردار! اے معبودوں کے معبود! اے جباروں کے جبار! اے دنیا و آخرت کے بادشاہ! اے تمام ربوں کے رب! اے بادشاہوں کے بادشاہ! اے سخت گرفت فرمانے والے! اے شدید گرفت والے! اے جو جو چاہے کر گزرنے والا ہے! اے سانسوں کی گنتی اور قدموں کی نقل و حرکت کا حساب رکھنے والے! اے وہ کہ جس کے نزدیک راز بھی علانیہ ہیں! اے ابتدا کرنے والے! اے دوبارہ لوٹانے والے! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیری اس حقانیت کے واسطے جو تیرے برگزیدہ بندوں پر ہے، اور اس حق کے واسطے جو تو نے ان کے لیے اپنی ذات پر واجب فرما لیا ہے، کہ تو محمدؐ اور ان کے اہلِ بیتؑ پر درود و سلام نازل فرمائے، اور ابھی اسی گھڑی مجھ پر یہ احسان فرما کہ میری گردن کو آگ (جہنم) سے آزاد فرما دے۔ اور اپنے ولی، اپنے نبی کے فرزند، اس داعی کے ساتھ جو تیرے اذن سے تیری طرف بلاتا ہے اپنا وعدہ پورا فرما، جو تیری مخلوق میں تیرا امین ہے، تیرے بندوں کے درمیان تیری نگاہ ہے، اور تیری مخلوق پر تیری حجت ہے۔ اس پر تیری رحمتیں، برکتیں اور درود نازل ہوں۔ اے اللہ! اسے اپنی نصرت کے ذریعے مضبوط فرما، اپنے بندے کی مدد فرما، اس کے اصحاب کو قوت عطا فرما اور انہیں صبر و استقامت بخش۔ اپنی جانب سے ان کے لیے غالب اور مددگار اقتدار عطا فرما، اس کی فرج میں جلدی فرما، اور اسے اپنے اور اپنے رسولؐ کے دشمنوں پر غلبہ عطا فرما۔ اے سب سے بڑھ کر رحم کرنے والے!

5. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔

6. I said to Imam: May my soul be sacrificed for you, have you not prayed for yourself? He said: I have prayed for the light of the progeny of Muhammad (peace be on them) who shall retaliate against their enemies with the command of Almighty Allah. I said: when will he be coming out? When the owner of creations and command wishes, Imam replied. I said: what are the signs before then? He said: the signs are many and different. I said: like what? Imam Sadiq (a) said: A banner shall come out from the east and west, sedition will persist and a man shall come out from Yemen among the descendant of my uncle Zaid, and there shall be plundering of the house properties then Allah will act according to his wishes. It has arrived in the book Mikyaal ul Makarim that this supplication can be recited for the following benefits…

   میں نے عرض کیا میں آپ پر قربان ہوجاؤں آیا آپ نے اپنے لئے دعا مانگی حضرت نے فرمایا آل محمد کے نور کے لئے اور اس کے لئے کہ جو خدا کے حکم سے دشمنوں سے انتقام لے گا اس کے لئے دعا کی ہے میں نے عرض کیا خدا مجھے آپ پر قربان کرے آن حضرت کب قیام کرے گا حضرت نے فرمایا جب بھی خدا چاہے یہ امور اس کے ہاتھ میں ہے وہ جب چاہے میں نے عرض کیا کیا اس سے پہلے کوئی علامتیں ہیں حضرت نے فرمایا ہاں کئی علامتیں ہیں میں نے عرض کیا وہ علامتیں کیا ہیں حضرت نے فرمایا ایک علم مشرق کی زمین سے اور ایک علم مغرب کی زمین سے بلند ہوگا اور ایک فتنہ اھل زوراء (ایک گاؤں کا نام) پر سایہ کرے گا اور ایک مرد میرے چچا کے فرزندوں میں سے یمن سے قیام کرے گا جس کا نام زید ہوگا اور کعبہ کا پردہ لوٹا جائے گا اور جو کچھ خدا کی مشیت اقتضاء کرے گی وہی انجام پائے گا گراں قدر کتاب مکیال المکارم کا صاحب اس حدیث شریف کی توضیح میں کہتے ہیں اس مذکورہ دعاء سے چند چیزوں کا استفادہ ہوتاہے۔

7. It is recommended to pray for his holiness (a) and to request for hastening his reappearance after the Zuhr prayer.

   حضرت حجت کے لئے دعا مانگنا اور نماز ظہر کے بعد تعجیل فرج کے لئے دعا مانگنا مستحب ہے۔

8. It is recommended to lift hands while praying for his holiness (a).

   آنحضرت کے لئے دعا پڑھتے وقت ہاتھوں کو بلند کرنا مستحب ہے۔

9. It is recommended to regard the Holy Progeny (a) as intercessors and to request in their favour before making a wish.

   مستحب ہے کہ حاجت مانگنے سے پہلے آل محمدؑ کو اپنا شفیع قرار دے۔

10. It is recommended to praise and glorify Allah (swt) before beginning a supplication.

    مستحب ہے کہ حاجت طلب کرنے سے پہلے خدا کی حمد و ثناء بجالائے۔

11. It is recommended to send Salawaat on Mohammad and his Holy Progeny (s) before demanding a wish.

    دعا سے پہلے مستحب ہے محمد و آل محمد پر درود بھیجے۔

12. Purifying ones soul from sins through repentance and the likes of it; so that the soul becomes purified and prepared for acceptance. The proof of this word is the request for forgiveness and freedom from hellfire requested by Imam (a).

    استغفار کے ساتھ اپنے آپ کو گناہوں سے پاک کرے تا کہ پاک دل کے ساتھ اجابت کے لئے آمادہ ہوجائے۔

13. In the words of the Infallibles (a) and their supplications, if the word Wali is used singly, without any additions, then it refers to our Master, Imam Mahdi (a).

    ولی مطلق سے مراد جن حضرات کی زبانوں پر یا جن دعاؤں میں ہے اس سے مراد صاحب الزمان ہے۔

14. It is recommended to supplicate in the favour of the supporters and companions of his holiness (a).

    مستحب ہے کہ اصحاب کے حق میں اور حضرت کے ساتھیوں کے حق میں دعا مانگے۔

15. Imam witnesses the actions of the followers in every condition, he watches them and their behaviour, towards which the line Your eyes between your slaves indicates and implies.

    امام تمام بندوں کے اعمال اور رفتار کو ہر حالت میں دیکھتاہے اور ان کے افعال کو زیر نظر رکھتاہے۔

16. One of the nicknames of his holiness (a) is the Light of Mohammad s Holy Progeny. Its proof can also be witnessed in the narrations; Muhaqqiq e Noori mentions a few of them in his book Najm us Saqib.

    آخری حجت کے القاب میں سے ایک لقب نور آل محمد ہے اس پر گواہ متعدد روایت ہیں کہ جو وارد ہیں اور محقق نوری کی کتاب نجم الثاقب میں ان سے بعض روایت کو ذکر کیا ہے۔

17. His holiness is superior and greater than all the Imams (a) except Imam Ali (a), Imam Hasan (a) and Imam Husain (a). This point is approved by other narrations as well.

    یہ کہ آخری حجت‘ امیرالمومنین علی امام حسن اور امام حسین کے بعد باقی ائمہ معصومین سے افضل ہیں اس مقام پر روایات تائید کے عنوان سے نقل ہوئی ہیں۔

18. Almighty Allah (swt) has treasured his holiness and has delayed his advent to avenge his enemies and the enemies of Prophet (s). There are several narrations regarding this topic.

    خدائے متعال نے آن حضرت کو ذخیرہ کیا ہے اور ان کے قیام کو تاخیر میں ڈالا ہے تا کہ اپنے اور پیغمبر کے دشمنوں سے انتقام لے لیں متعدد اور متواتر روایات اس معنی میں وارد ہوئی ہیں۔

19. The time of his Advent is amongst the concealed issues necessitated by the divine policy. It is also mentioned in several narrations.

    حضرت کے ظہور کا زمانہ رازوں میں سے ایک راز ہے کہ آپ مصلحت الٰہی کے تقاضا کے مطابق پوشیدہ ہیں اور اس مطلب پر متواتر روایات موجود ہیں۔

20. The signs mentioned in the narrations are not certain and indispensable; due to the line mentioned in the end, Allah performs as per His own will.

    یہ علامتیں حتمی علامتیں نہیں ہیں چونکہ اپنے کلام کے اختتام پر خود فرماتے ہیں جیسا خدا کی مشیت اقتضاء کرے گی انجام پائے گا۔
