Surah Lahab (111, 5 ayat)

111| سورۂ مسد |5

1. Flame (Makki)

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. تَبَّتْ يَدَآ اَبِيْ لَهَبٍ وَّتَبَّ

   TABBAT YADAA ABEE LAHABINW-WA TABB.

   Perdition overtake both hands of Abu Lahab, and he will perish.

   ابو لہب کے ہاتھ ٹوٹ جائیں اور وہ ہلاک ہو جائے۔

4. مَآ اَغْنٰى عَنْهُ مَالُهٗ وَمَا كَسَبَ

   MAA AGHNAA ’ANHU MAALUHOO WA MA KASAB.

   His wealth and what he earns will not avail him.

   نہ اس کا مال ہی اس کے کام آیا اور نہ اس کا کمایا ہوا سامان ہی۔

5. سَيَصْلٰى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ

   SA-YASLAA NAARAN ZAATA LAHAB.

   He shall soon burn in fire that flames

   وہ عنقریب بھڑکتی ہوئی آگ میں داخل ہو گا۔

6. وَامْرَاَتُهٗ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ

   WAMRA-ATUHOO HAMMAA LATAL-HATAB.

   And his wife, the bearer of fuel

   اور اس کی بیوی جو لکڑی ڈھونے والی ہے۔

7. فِيْ جِيْدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّنْ مَّسَدٍ

   FEE JEEDIHAA HABLUM MIM-MASAD.

   Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope.

   اس کی گردن میں بٹی ہوئی رسی بندھی ہوئی ہے۔

8. SADAQALLAHUL ALIYYUL AZEEM

   Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.

   اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
