Surah Nashrah (94, 8 ayat)

سورۂ انشراح

1. Expansion (Makki)

2. The Holy Prophet (s) said that Allah (s) grants good fortune and Yaqeen (certitude) in religion, to the person who recites this Surah. Recitation of this Surah is also good for relieving chest pains. Drinking water in which this Surah has been dissolved is a cure for problems while urination and heart ailments.

   رسول اکرمؐ نے فرمایا:جس نے سورۂ انشراح کی تلاوت کی اس نےگویا مجھے محزون پاکرمیرے حزن کو دور کیا۔ (مجمع البیان،ج۱۰ص۳۸۷)

3. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

4. اَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ

   ALAM NASHRAH LAKA SADRAK

   Have We not expanded for you your breast

   کیا ہم نے آپ کے سینہ کو کشادہ نہیں کیا۔

5. وَوَضَعْنَا عَنْكَ وِزْرَكَ

   WAWADA'NAA 'ANKA WIZRAK

   And taken off from you your burden

   اور کیا آپ کے بوجھ کو اتار نہیں لیا۔

6. اَلَّذِيْٓ اَنْقَضَ ظَهْرَكَ

   ALLAZEE ANQADA ZAHRAK

   Which pressed heavily upon your back

   جس نے آپ کی کمر کو توڑ دیا تھا۔

7. وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ

   WARAFA'NAA LAKA ZIKRAK

   And exalted for you your esteem?

   اور آپ کے ذکر کو بلند کر دیا۔

8. فَاِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

   FA-INNA MA'A AL-'USRI YUSRAA

   Surely with difficulty is ease.

   ہاں زحمت کے ساتھ آسانی بھی ہے۔

9. اِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا

   INNA MA'A AL-'USRI YUSRAA

   With difficulty is surely ease.

   بے شک تکلیف کے ساتھ سہولت بھی ہے۔

10. فَاِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانْصَبْ

    FA-IZAA FARAGHTA FANSAB

    So when you are free, exert yourself (in worship).

    لہذا جب آپ فارغ ہو جائیں تو (عبادت میں) کوشش کریں۔

11. وَاِلٰى رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ

    WA-ILAA RABBIKA FARGHAB

    And make your Lord your exclusive object.

    اور اپنے رب کی طرف رخ کریں۔

12. صَدَقَ اللهُ الْعَلِیُّ الْعَظِیْمُ۔

    SADAQA ALLAAHU AL-'ALIYYU AL-'AZEEM.

    Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.

    اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
