1st Farewell

زیارتِ وداع-۱

1. The author says: I have seen in the book ‘Al-Iqbal’ and the book ‘Sahifa al-Saadeqiyyah’ written by late Sayed ibn Taaoos (r) and in two manuscripts in which a farewell Ziyarat to be recited after Ziyarat’e Ameenullah, narrated by Imam Ja’far As-Sadiq (a) has been mentioned. Jaabir says: When I informed Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (a) about the Ziyarat of Ameenullah as narrated by Imam Muhammad Baqir (a), he (a) said: “Whenever you decide to depart from the shrine of the Holy Imams (a) then add in it this supplication after Ziyarat’e Ameenullah…

   راوی فرماتا ہے کہ میں نے سید ابن طاؤس کی کتاب الاقبال اور صحیفہ الصادقیہ اور دگر دو کتابوں میں دیکھا کہ امام جعفر صادقؑ سے روایت ہے، جابر فرماتے ہیں: جب میں نے امام جعفر صادقؑ سے زیارتِ امین اللہ کے بارے میں کہا کہ جو امام محمد باقرؑ سے ہے، تو امامؑ نے فرمایا: جب کبھی تم ائمہؑ کے حرم سے رخصت ہونا چاہو تو زیارتِ امین اللہ کے بعد اس زیارتِ وداع کو پڑھو۔۔۔

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْاِمَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ۔ اَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اللهَ وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُہٗ۔ اٰمَنَّا بِالرَّسُوْلِ وَبِمَا جِئْتُمْ بِهٖ وَدَعَوْتُمْ اِلَيْهِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ اٰخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ زِيَارَتِيْ وَلِيَّكَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنِيْ ثَوَابَ مَزَارِهِ الَّذِيْ اَوْجَبْتَ لَهٗ وَ يَسِّرْ لَنَا الْعَوْدَ اِلَیْہِ اِنْ شَآءَ اللهُ تَعَالٰى۔

   AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA AYYUHAA AL-IMAAMU WARAHMATU ALLAAHI WABARAKAATUH. ASTAWDI'UKA ALLAAHA WA'ALAYKA AS-SALAAMU WARAHMATU ALLAAHI WA BARAKAATUH. AAMANNAA BIR-RASOOLI WABIMAA JI'TUM BIHEE WADA'AWTUM ILAYH. ALLAAHUMMA LAA TAJ'ALHU AAKHIRA AL-'AHDI MIN ZIYAARATEE WALIYYAK. ALLAAHUMMA LAA TAHRIMNEE THAWAABA MAZAARIHI ALLAZEE AWJABTA LAHOO WA YASSIR LANAA AL-'AWDA ILAYHI IN SHAA'A ALLAAHU TA'AALAA.

   Peace be on you, O the Imam and mercy of Allah and His blessings, I entrust you with Allah and upon you is peace and mercy of Allah and His blessings. We believe in the Messenger, and in whatever you have come with and called to. O Allah! Do not make this my last visitation of Your master. O Allah! Do not deprive me of the reward of his shrine which You have decided for him and make our returning to visit it easy for us, if Allah the High wills.

   اے رہنما پیشوا آپ پر سلام ہو اور رحمت خدا و برکات خدا نازل ہو آپ کی ذات پر ، میں آپ کو خدا کے سپرد کرتا ہوں اور آپ پر رحمت و برکت خدا نازل ہو، اے خدا! ہم رسول صادقؐ پر ایمان لائے اور جو کچھ آپ حضرات لے کر آئے اور جس کی طرف دعوت دی اُس پر ایمان لایا، اے خدا! ہمارے لیے اپنے ولی کی زیارت کو آخری زیارت قرار نہ دینا، اے خدا! ہمیں اس کی زیارت کے ثواب سے محروم نہ رکھ جو تو نے اُن کے لیے لازم قرار دیا ہے اور ہمارے لیے پھر سے لوٹنا اور اس کی زیارت کرنا آسان کر دے، اگر خدائے بزرگ و برتر نے چاہا۔

4. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
