زیارت امام علی (ع)-۳
Sayyid Abd al-Karim ibn Tawus has reported the following from Safwan al-Jammal: During my journey with him to Kufah for meeting Abu-Ja’far al-Mansur the ‘Abbasid ruler, Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a) asked me to make our camels kneel down at a certain place, saying, “This is the tomb of my grandfather, the Commander of the Faithful.” As I made the camels kneel down there, he dismounted, bathed himself, changed his clothes, took off his shoes, and ordered me to imitate him in everything.
عبدالکریم ابن طاؤسؒ نے صفوان جّمال سے روایت کی ہے کہ :ہم امام جعفر صادقؑ کے ہمراہ کوفہ میں داخل ہوئے آپ ابو جعفر دوانقی (منصور عباسی)کے پاس جا رہے تھے آپ نے مجھ سے فرمایا : اے صفوان! اونٹ کو بٹھا دو میرے جد بزرگوار امیرالمومنینؑ کا مزار یہاں سے نزدیک ہے آپ اونٹ سے اتر پڑے،پھر غسل فرمایا،لباس تبدیل کیا، پا برہنہ ہوگئے اور فرمایا : تم بھی ایسا کرو۔
I then said to him, “O master! May I inform our acquaintances in Kufa about this and lead them to this tomb?” The Imam (a) answered in the affirmative and gave me a sum of money to construct the tomb.
صفوان کا بیان ہے : میں نے حضرتؑ کی خدمت میں عرض کی : آیا آپ مجھے اجازت دیتے ہیں کہ میں کوفہ میں اپنے مومن بھائیوں کو اس واقعہ کی خبر دوں اور انہیں اس قبر کے نشان سے آگاہ کروں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ہاں تمہیں اجازت ہے پھر آپ نے مجھے کچھ درہم عنایت کیے۔ جن سے میں نے قبرِ امیرالمومنینؑ کی مرمت کرائی۔
He then directed towards the hillock of Najaf, saying, “If you walk in short steps and nod your head to the ground, you shall be given 100,000 rewards for each step, 100,000 sins shall be erased from your sins, you shall be elevated 100,000 ranks, 100,000 of your requests shall be granted, and you shall be granted the rewards of all veracious individuals who died and all martyrs who were slain.”
اس کے بعد آپ نجف اشرف کی سمت روانہ ہوئے اور فرمایا : قدم چھوٹا رکھو اورسر جھکا کے چلو کہ اﷲاس راستے میں اٹھائے گئے تمہارے ہر قدم کے بدلے میں تمہارے لئے ایک لاکھ نیکیاں لکھے گا تمہارے ایک لاکھ گناہ معاف فرمائے گا ایک لاکھ درجے بلند کرے گا اور تمہاری ایک لاکھ حاجات پوری کرے گا نیز تمہارے اعمال میں ہر صدیق و شہید کا ثواب لکھے گا جو مر چکا ہے یا مارا جا چکا ہے۔
Imam Sadiq (a) then walked with tranquility and gravity, and I followed him, pronouncing statements of glorification and sanctification of Almighty Allah and confession of His Oneness until we reached the hillocks there. He stopped there, looked to the right and the left, sketched something on the ground with his stick, and asked me to look for the signs of the tomb. As I did, I could notice the traces of the tomb of Imam Ali (a). Imam Sadiq (a) immediately shed tears down his face and said these words…
پھر حضرتؑ چل پڑے اور میں بھی آپ کے ساتھ اطمینا ن و وقار کے ساتھ ذکرِ الہٰی کرتا ہوا چلا جارہا تھا یہاں تک کہ ہم ٹیلوں کے قریب پہنچ گئے وہاں آپ نے دائیں بائیں نگاہ فرمائی اور اپنے ہاتھ کی چھڑی سے ایک لکیر کھینچ کر مجھ سے فرمایا : اس جگہ کو دیکھو! لہٰذا میں نے جستجو کی تو مجھے نشانِ قبر نظر آگیایہ دیکھ کر آپ کے آنسوجاری ہو کر چہرے پر آگئے اور آپ نے یوں کہا۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اِنَّا لِلهِ وَاِنَّا اِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُوْنَ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْوَصِيُّ الْبَرُّ التَّقِيُّ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا النَّبَاُ الْعَظِيْمُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الصِّدِّيْقُ الرَّشِيْدُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْبَرُّ الزَّكِيُّ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَصِيَّ رَسُوْلِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خِيَرَةَ اللهِ عَلَى الْخَلْقِ اَجْمَعِيْنَ۔ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ حَبِيْبُ اللهِ وَخَاصَّةُ اللهِ وَخَالِصَتُهٗ ۔اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللهِ وَمَوْضِعَ سِرِّهٖ وَعَيْبَةَ عِلْمِهٖ وَخَازِنَ وَحْيِهٖ۔
INNAA LILLAAHI WA-INNAA ILAYHI RAAJI'OONA AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA AYYUHAA AL-WASIYYU AL-BARRU AT-TAQIYY. AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA AYYUHAA AN-NABA'U AL-'AZEEM. AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA AYYUHAA AS-SIDDEEQU AR-RASHEED. AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA AYYUHAA AL-BARRU AZ-ZAKIYY. AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA YAA WASIYYA RASOOLI RABBI AL-'AALAMEEN. AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA YAA KHIYARATA ALLAAHI 'ALAA AL-KHALQI AJMA'EEN. ASHHADU ANNAKA HABEEBU ALLAAHI WAKHAASSATU ALLAAHI WAKHAALISATUHOO .ALSSALAAMU 'ALAYKA YAA WALIYYA ALLAAHI WAMAWDI'A SIRRIHEE WA'AYBATA 'ILMIHEE WAKHAAZINA WAHYIH.
To Allah we belong and to Him is our return. Peace be upon you, O successor (of the Prophet), righteous, and pious. Peace be upon you, O Great News. Peace be upon you, O veracious and right-directing one. Peace be upon you, O righteous and pure. Peace be upon you, O Successor of the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds. Peace be upon you, O choice of Allah over all creatures. I bear witness that you are verily Allah’s beloved, elite, and select. Peace be upon you, O intimate servant of Allah, center of His secrets, store of His knowledge, and keeper of His Revelation.
ہم اللہ ہی کے لئے ہیں اور اسی کی طرف پلٹنے والے ہیں۔ آپ پر سلام ہو اے وصی نیک و پرہیزگار، آپ پر سلام ہو اے خبرِ عظیم (امامت)!آپ پر سلام ہو اے صاحبِ صدق و ہدایت یافتہ آپ پر سلام ہو اے نیک و پاکیزہ آپ پر سلام ہو اے جہانوں کے رب کے رسولؐ کے وصیؑ و جانشین آپ پر سلام ہو اے ساری مخلوق پر خدا کی طرف سے برگزیدہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ خدا کے حبیب اور اس کے خاص اور مخلص بندےہیں سلام ہو آپ پر اے خدا کے ولی اسرار الہٰی کے امین اس کے علم کے گنجینہ(خزانہ) اور اس کے وحی کے خزانہ دار۔
Then he said…
پھر فرمایا۔۔۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْوَصِيُّ الْبَرُّ التَّقِيُّ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا النَّبَاُ الْعَظِيْمُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الصِّدِّيْقُ الرَّشِيْدُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْبَرُّ الزَّكِيُّ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَصِيَّ رَسُوْلِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خِيَرَةَ اللهِ عَلَى الْخَلْقِ اَجْمَعِيْنَ۔ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ حَبِيْبُ اللهِ وَخَاصَّةُ اللهِ وَخَالِصَتُهٗ ۔اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ اللهِ وَمَوْضِعَ سِرِّهٖ وَعَيْبَةَ عِلْمِهٖ وَخَازِنَ وَحْيِهٖ۔
AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA AYYUHAA AL-WASIYYU AL-BARRU AT-TAQIYY. AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA AYYUHAA AN-NABA'U AL-'AZEEM. AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA AYYUHAA AS-SIDDEEQU AR-RASHEED. AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA AYYUHAA AL-BARRU AZ-ZAKIYY. AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA YAA WASIYYA RASOOLI RABBI AL-'AALAMEEN. AS-SALAAMU 'ALAYKA YAA KHIYARATA ALLAAHI 'ALAA AL-KHALQI AJMA'EEN. ASHHADU ANNAKA HABEEBU ALLAAHI WAKHAASSATU ALLAAHI WAKHAALISATUHOO .ALSSALAAMU 'ALAYKA YAA WALIYYA ALLAAHI WAMAWDI'A SIRRIHEE WA'AYBATA 'ILMIHEE WAKHAAZINA WAHYIH.
Peace be upon you, O successor (of the Prophet), righteous, and pious. Peace be upon you, O Great News. Peace be upon you, O veracious and right-directing one. آپ پر سلام ہو اے وصی نیک و پرہیزگار، آپ پر سلام ہو اے خبرِ عظیم (امامت)!آپ پر سلام ہو اے صاحبِ صدق و ہدایت یافتہ آپ پر سلام ہو اے نیک و پاکیزہ آپ پر سلام ہو اے جہانوں کے رب کے رسولؐ کے وصیؑ و جانشین آپ پر سلام ہو اے ساری مخلوق پر خدا کی طرف سے برگزیدہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ خدا کے حبیب اور اس کے خاص اور مخلص بندےہیں سلام ہو آپ پر اے خدا کے ولی اسرار الہٰی کے امین اس کے علم کے گنجینہ(خزانہ) اور اس کے وحی کے خزانہ دار۔
Imam Sadiq (a) then threw himself on the tomb and said these words…
پھر آپ قبرِ اطہر سے لپٹ گئے اور فرمایا۔۔۔
بِاَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّيْ يَا اَمِيْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ بِاَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّيْ يَا حُجَّةَ الْخِصَامِ بِاَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّيْ يَا بَابَ الْمَقَامِ بِاَبِيْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّيْ يَا نُوْرَ اللهِ التَّامَّ۔ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ عَنِ اللهِ وَعَنْ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهٖ مَا حُمِّلْتَ وَرَعَيْتَ مَا اسْتُحْفِظْتَ وَحَفِظْتَ مَا اسْتُوْدِعْتَ وَحَلَّلْتَ حَلَالَ اللهِ وَحَرَّمْتَ حَرَامَ اللهِ وَاَقَمْتَ اَحْكَامَ اللهِ وَلَمْ تَتَعَدَّ حُدُوْدَ اللهِ وَعَبَدْتَ اللهَ مُخْلِصًا حَتّٰى اَتَاكَ الْيَقِيْنُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى الْاَئِمَّةِ مِنْ بَعْدِكَ۔
BI-ABEE ANTA WA-UMMEE YAA AMEERA AL-MU'MINEENA BI-ABEE ANTA WA-UMMEE YAA HUJJATA AL-KHISAAMI BI-ABEE ANTA WA-UMMEE YAA BAABA AL-MAQAAMI BI-ABEE ANTA WA-UMMEE YAA NOORA ALLAAHI AT-TAAMM. ASHHADU ANNAKA QAD BALLAGHTA 'ANI ALLAAHI WA'AN RASOOLI ALLAAHI SALLAA ALLAAHU 'ALAYHI WA-AALIHEE MAA HUMMILTA WARA'AYTA MAA USTUHFIZTA WAHAFIZTA MAA USTOODI'TA WAHALLALTA HALAALA ALLAAHI WAHARRAMTA HARAAMA ALLAAHI WA-AQAMTA AHKAAMA ALLAAHI WALAM TATA'ADDA HUDOODA ALLAAHI WA'ABADTA ALLAAHA MUKHLISAN HATTAA ATAAKA AL-YAQEENU SALLAA ALLAAHU 'ALAYKA WA'ALAA AL-A'IMMATI MIN BA'DIK.
May Allah accept my father and mother as ransoms for you, O Commander of the Faithful! May Allah accept my father and mother as ransoms for you, O argument in controversies! May Allah accept my father and mother as ransoms for you, O door to the (elevated) position! May Allah accept my father and mother as ransoms for you, O utter light of Allah! I bear witness that you have conveyed all that which you were ordered to convey from Allah and from Allah’s Messenger, may Allah’s peace be upon him and his Household, attended to that which was kept with you, kept that which was stored with you, decided as lawful all that which Allah has deemed lawful, decided as unlawful all that which Allah has deemed unlawful, carried out the decrees of Allah, never exceeded the limits of Allah, and worshipped Allah sincerely until death came upon you. May Allah send blessings upon you and upon the Imams who came after you!
قربان ہوں آپ پر میرے ماں باپ اے امیرالمومنینؑ!قربان ہوں آپ پر میرے ماں باپ اے دشمنوں پر حجت،قربان ہوں آپ پر میرے ماں باپ اے ہر مقصود کے دروازے، قربان ہوں آپ پر میرے ماں باپ اے خدا کے کامل نور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نے خدا اور اس کے رسولؐ کے وہ احکام لوگوں تک پہنچائے جو آپ نے حاصل کیے جو علوم ملےان کی نگہبانی کی جو امور آپ کے سپرد ہوئے انہیں فراموش نہیں کیا اور آپ نے حلالِ خدا کو حلال اور حرامِ خدا کو حرام ٹھہرایا آپ نے احکامِ الہٰی کو نافذ کیا خدا کی حدوں سے تجاوز نہیں کیا اور خدا کی خالص بندگی کرتے رہے یہاں تک کہ آپ شہادت پاگئے خدا رحمت کرے آپ پر اور آپ کے جانشین ائمہؑ پر۔
Imam Sadiq (a) then stood up and offered a number of units of prayer at the side of the Imam’s head. He then said to me (Safwan), “Whoever visits Amir al-Momeneen with this form of Ziyarat and then offers the like of this prayer shall return home while all his sins are forgiven, all his efforts are accepted, and will have the rewards of all the angels who visit this tomb recorded for him.”
اس کے بعدحضرت امام جعفر صادقؑ اٹھے اور قبر کے سرہانے کی طرف کھڑے ہو کر چند رکعت نماز پڑھی۔ پھر فرمایا : اے صفوان! جو شخص امیرالمومنینؑ کی یہ زیارت پڑھےگااور اس طرح یہ نماز اداکرے گا تو وہ اپنے اہلِ خانہ کے پاس اس حال میں لوٹے گا کہ اس کے گناہ بخشے جا چکے ہوں گے اس کا یہ عملِ زیارت مقبول ہو گا اور اس کے لئے وہ ثواب لکھا جائے گا جو فرشتوں میں سے حضرتؑ کی زیارت کو آنے والے کسی فرشتے کو ملتا ہے۔
I asked, “Do you mean the reward of all the angels who visit this tomb?” The Imam (a) answered, “Yes, I do. Each night, this tomb is visited by seventy tribes of angels.” “How many is a tribe of angels?” asked I. “Each tribe consists of 100،000 angels,” answered the Imam (a). Imam (a) then left the place walking back but his face was still to the grave direction, uttering the following words…
صفوان نے حیران ہو کر پوچھا: آیا کو ئی فرشتہ بھی حضرت امیرالمومنینؑ کی زیارت کرنے آتا ہے؟ حضرتؑ نے فرمایا : ہاں ہر رات ملائکہ میں سے ستّر قبیلے آپ کی زیارت کو آتے ہیں،اس نے پوچھا: ہر قبیلے میں کتنے فرشتے ہوتے ہیں ؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ہر قبیلے میں ایک لاکھ فرشتے ہوتے ہیں پھر حضرتؑ الٹے پاؤں چلتے ہوئے قبرِحضرت امیرالمومنینؑ سے واپس ہوئے جب کہ آپ فرما رہے تھے۔۔۔
يَا جَدَّاهُ يَا سَيِّدَاهُ يَا طَيِّبَاهُ يَا طَاهِرَاهُ لَا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْكَ وَرَزَقَنِي الْعَوْدَ اِلَيْكَ وَالْمَقَامَ فِيْ حَرَمِكَ وَالْكَوْنَ مَعَكَ وَمَعَ الْاَبْرَارِ مِنْ وُلْدِكَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ الْمُحْدِقِيْنَ بِكَ۔
YAA JADDAAHU YAA SAYYIDAAHU YAA TAYYIBAAHU YAA TAAHIRAAHU LAA JA'ALAHU ALLAAHU AAKHIRA AL-'AHDI MINKA WARAZAQANEE AL-'AWDA ILAYKA WAL-MAQAAMA FEE HARAMIKA WAL-KAWNA MA'AKA WAMA'A AL-ABRAARI MIN WULDIKA SALLAA ALLAAHU 'ALAYKA WA'ALAA AL-MALAA'IKATI AL-MUHDIQEENA BIK.
O grandfather! O master! O pure! O infallible! May Allah not cause this (visit of mine) to be the last of my compliments to you. May He grant me the opportunity to visit you again, to reside at your holy shrine, and to be included with you and with the righteous ones among your sons! May Allah send blessings upon you and upon the angels surrounding you!
اے میرے جد بزرگوار!اے میرے سردار! اے خوش کردار اے پاکیزہ تر، خدا آپ کی اس زیارت کو میرے لئے آخری نہ بنائے اور مجھے دوبارہ حاضر ہونا اور آپ کے حرم میں ٹھہرنا نصیب کرے آپ کی خدمت میں آنے اور آپ کی پاک اولاد کے حضور حاضری کی توفیق دے خدا رحمت کرے آپ پر اور ان ملائکہ پر جو آپ کی قبر کا طواف کرتے ہیں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
