Joining the Centre
Membership
You do not need to be a member to come here. Membership of the Centre is a separate thing, and it is arranged by asking.
Attending needs no membership
There is no charge and no membership needed to attend anything at the Centre. Prayers, majalis and community programmes are open to anyone who comes, whether you have been here for twenty years or are visiting Ipswich for one evening.
Asking about membership
Membership enquiries are handled by the Centre’s secretary.
Send one through the request form and it reaches the committee. The secretary will tell you what membership involves before you commit to anything.
What this page does not say
There is no fee, no renewal period and no joining form on this page, and that is deliberate rather than unfinished. The Centre has not published them, and a figure invented here would be one somebody was asked to pay. If anything is payable, the secretary will say so when you ask, and nobody is signed up by reading a website.
Membership questions
- Do I need to be a member to pray at the Centre?
- No. There is no charge and no membership needed to attend anything at the Fatima Zahra Imamia Centre, 80 Downs Street, North Ipswich QLD 4305; prayers, majalis and community programmes are open to anyone who comes. Men and women pray in separate areas and both are signposted.
- How do I become a member of the Fatima Zahra Imamia Centre?
- Membership is arranged by enquiry. This website publishes no membership fee, no renewal period and no joining form; the Centre's secretary will tell you what membership involves. Send an enquiry through the request form at https://fzic.org/services, which reaches the committee.
