Convert a date - Hijri and Gregorian

Converts in both directions and uses the Centre’s own confirmed month starts where they exist, so the result can differ from a purely calculated calendar. For a month the committee has sighted it gives the date this congregation actually observed — not the arithmetic estimate a general converter would give.

A Hijri month is 29 or 30 days and begins when the new moon is sighted, so a date the Centre has not yet confirmed is an estimate. It is shown as such rather than presented as certain.
