Prophet Migrated from Makkah to Madina (1H)
بعثت کے تیرھویں سال اسی رات حضرت رسولؐ کی مکۂ معظمہ سے مدینۂ منورہ کو ہجرت کا آغاز ہوا۔
At this night, prophet hid in Cave Thawr. Imam Ali (a) sacrificed himself, when he spent the night in the place of the Holy Prophet so as to give the latter enough time to leave Makkah safely and to arrive at his destination. Imam Ali (a) challenged the polytheists who had plotted to assassinate the Holy Prophet (s) by attacking him in his bed collectively. Thus, everybody acknowledged Imam Ali’s bravery and courage, as well as his love for and fraternity with the Holy Prophet (s). Immortalizing this event, Almighty Allah revealed the following holy verse (2:207)…
حضرت امیرؑاپنی جان آپ پر فدا کرنے کے لئے مشرک قبائل کی تلواروں سے بے پرواہ ہو کر حضورؐ کے بستر پر سو رہے تھے۔ اس طرح آپ نے اپنی فضیلت اور حضورؐکے ساتھ اپنی اخوت و برادری اور ہمدردی کی عظمت کو سارے عالَم پر آشکار کردیا۔تو اسی رات امیرالمؤمنینؑ کی شان میں یہ آیت(بقرہ،۲۰۷) نازل ہوئی۔۔۔
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَّشْرِيْ نَفْسَهُ ابْتِغَآءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللهِ وَاللهُ رَءُوْفٌۢ بِالْعِبَادِ۔
Wamina an-naasi man yashree nafsahu ibtighaa'a mardaati allaahi wallaahu ra'oofun bil-'ibaad.
And among men is he who sells himself to seek the pleasure of Allah; and Allah is affectionate to the servants.
اور لوگوں میں وہ بھی ہیں جو اپنے نفس کو مرضی پروردگار کے لئے بیچ ڈالتے ہیں اور اللہ اپنے بندوں پر بڑا مہربان ہے۔
