A’uzo be-jalaale

اَعُوْذُ بِجَلَالِ

1. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

2. اَعُوْذُ بِجَلَالِ وَجْھِکَ الْکَرِیْمِ اَنْ یَنْقَضِیَ عَنِّیْ شَھْرُ رَمَضَانَ اَوْیَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ مِنْ لَیْلَتِیْ ھٰذِہٖ وَلَکَ قِبَلِیْ تَبِعَۃٌ اَوْذَنْۢبٌ تُعَذِّبُنِیْ عَلَیْہِ۔

   A-OO’ZO BE-JALAALE WAJHE-KAL KAREEME AN YAN-QAZE-YA A’NNEE SHAH-RO RAMAZAA-NA AW-YATLO-A’L FAJRO MIN LAIY-LATEE HAAZE-HI WA LAKA QEBA-LEE TABE-A’TOON AW-ZANBOON TO-A’ZZE-BONEE A’LAIY-HE.

   I take refuge with the majesty of Thy generous aspects, from that which weigh heavy upon me in the month of Ramazan, or any night in this month departs and the day breaks but I do not carry out any of the duties imposed by Thee, or any sin that Thou may find fit for reprisal.

   پروردگارا! میں تیرے محترم وجود کے جلال کی پنہ چہتا ہو اس عمر سے کہ یہ سارا ماہ رمضان گزر جائے یا اس رات کی صبح ہو جائے اور میرے ذمہ کوئی سزا یا گناہ باقی ہو جس پر تو مجھے عذاب کرے ۔

3. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAHUMMA SWALLE ALAA MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN

   Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
