Imam Reza (a) said: “This is the supplication which was recited by Imam Mohammad Baqir (a) at the time of sahr (dawn) in the month of Ramazan and he (a) advised: Should the people know the superiority and quick answering of this supplication then they would try to possess it by fighting with sword. The Almighty Allah may choose anyone to shower His blessings for this. It would be true if I swear that the chief names of Almighty Allah exist in this supplication. So recite this supplication with complete humility and sincerity. It belongs to the concealed knowledge and hide it from others except those of able and knowledgeable persons…
امام رضاؑ نے فرمایا: یہ وہ دعا ہے جسے امام محمد باقرؑ ماہِ رمضان میں سحر کے وقت پڑھا کرتے تھے اور اُنہوں نے کہا کہ اگر لوگوں کو اس دعا کی خاصیت کا پتا چلے تو وہ تلوار سے لڑ کر اس کو حاصل کرینگے۔ اس دعا کی وجہ سے اللہ تعالی کسی پر بھی رحمت نازل کر سکتا ہے۔ یہ سچ ہو گا اگر میں قسم کھاؤں کہ اس دعا میں اللہ تعالی کا اسم اعظم ہے، تو اس دعا کو خضوع و خشوع کے ساتھ پڑھے۔ یہ ایک مخفی علم ہے اسے لوگوں سے چھپا کر رکھو سوائے اُن کے جو علمی شخصیت ہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْۢ بَهَآئِكَ بِاَبْهَاهُ وَكُلُّ بَهَآئِكَ بَهِيٌّ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِبَهَآئِكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ جَمَالِكَ بِاَجْمَلِهٖ وَكُلُّ جَمَالِكَ جَمِيْلٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِجَمَالِكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min bahaa'ika bi-abhaahu wakullu bahaa'ika bahiyy.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bibahaa'ika kullih.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min jamaalika bi-ajmalihee wakullu jamaalika jameel.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bijamaalika kullih.
O Allah I ask You to give me from Your brilliance that beautifies, and all Your glories are radiantly brilliant, O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your glories. O Allah I ask You to give me from Your refined good that makes more handsome, and all Your refinements are gracefully beautiful; O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your beauties.
اے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے تیری روشنی میں سے جو روشن تر ہے جب کہ تیری تمام روشنی بڑی بھر پور روشنی ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری تمام روشنی کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے تیرے جمال میں سے جو بہت زیبا ہے اور تیرا سارا جمال زیبا ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے سارے جمال کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ جَلَالِكَ بِاَجَلِّهٖ وَكُلُّ جَلَالِكَ جَلِيْلٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِجَلَالِكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ عَظَمَتِكَ بِاَعْظَمِهَا وَكُلُّ عَظَمَتِكَ عَظِيْمَةٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِعَظَمَتِكَ كُلِّهَا۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min jalaalika bi-ajallihee wakullu jalaalika jaleel.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bijalaalika kullih.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min 'azamatika bi-a'zamihaa wakullu 'azamatika 'azeemah.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bi'azamatika kullihaa.
O Allah I ask You to give me from Your majesty that gives grandeur, and all Your majestic powers are strongly sublime. O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your powers. O Allah I ask You to give me from Your greatness that makes great, and all Your powers are extensively important; O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your influences.
اے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے تیرے جلال میں سے اس کی پوری جلالت کے ساتھ اور تیرا سارا جلال پُر جلالت ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے پورے جلال کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیری عظمت کے ذریعے جو بڑی ہی عظیم ہے اور تیری تمام عظمتیں بڑی ہی عظیم ہیں۔اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیری عظمت کے واسطے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ نُوْرِكَ بِاَنْوَرِهٖ وَكُلُّ نُوْرِكَ نَيِّرٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِنُوْرِكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ بِاَوْسَعِهَا وَكُلُّ رَحْمَتِكَ وَاسِعَةٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ كُلِّهَا۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min noorika bi-anwarihee wakullu noorika nayyir.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka binoorika kullih.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min rahmatika bi-awsa'ihaa wakullu rahmatika waasi'ah.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka birahmatika kullihaa.
O Allah I beseech You to give me from Your light that enlightens, and all Your enlightenments are luminously bright; O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your lights. O Allah I ask You to give me from Your mercy that gives much, and all Your kind leniencies are plenteously many. O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your compassions.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے نور کے پُر نور ہونے سے اور تیرا سارا نور تاباں ہے اے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے تیرے تمام نور کے واسطے سےاے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے تیری رحمت میں سے اس کی وسعتوں کے ساتھ اور تیری ساری رحمت وسیع ہے اے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سےتیری تمام رحمت کے واسطے سے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ كَلِمَاتِكَ بِاَتَمِّهَا وَكُلُّ كَلِمَاتِكَ تَامَّةٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِكَلِمَاتِكَ كُلِّهَا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ كَمَالِكَ بِاَكْمَلِهٖ وَكُلُّ كَمَالِكَ كَامِلٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِكَمَالِكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min kalimaatika bi-atammihaa wakullu kalimaatika taammah.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bikalimaatika kullihaa.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min kamaalika bi-akmalihee wakullu kamaalika kaamil.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bikamaalika kullih.
O Allah I ask You to give me from Your Words that elaborate and conclude; and all Your words are complete and perfect; O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your Words. O Allah I ask You to give me from Your perfection that brings to fullness, and all Your perfections are total and whole, O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your perfections.
اے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے تیرے کلمات میں سے جو کامل تر ہیں اور تیرے تمام کلمات کامل تر ہیں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے تمام کلمات کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے کمال میں سےجو بہت کامل ہے اور تیرا ہر کمال ہی کامل تر ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے تمام کمال کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ اَسْمَآئِكَ بِاَكْبَرِهَا وَكُلُّ اَسْمَآئِكَ كَبِيْرَةٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِاَسْمَآئِكَ كُلِّهَا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ عِزَّتِكَ بِاَعَزِّهَا وَكُلُّ عِزَّتِكَ عَزِيْزَةٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِعِزَّتِكَ كُلِّهَا۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min asmaa'ika bi-akbarihaa wakullu asmaa'ika kabeerah.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bi-asmaa'ika kullihaa.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min 'izzatika bi-a'azzihaa wakullu 'izzatika 'azeezah.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bi'izzatika kullihaa.
O Allah I ask You to give me from Your Names that make great, and all Your Names are important. O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your Names. O Allah I beseech You to give me from Your authority that surpasses in honor and power, and all Your authorities are rare and supreme, O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your authorities.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے ناموں میں سے بڑے نام کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اور تیرے سبھی نام بزرگ تر ہیں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے سبھی ناموں کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری عزّت میں سے بلند تر عزّت کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اور تیری عزّت ہی بلند تر ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری تمام عزّت کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ مَشِيْئَتِكَ بِاَمْضَاهَا وَكُلُّ مَشِيْئَتِكَ مَاضِيَةٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِمَشِيْئَتِكَ كُلِّهَا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ قُدْرَتِكَ بِالْقُدْرَةِ الَّتِي اسْتَطَلْتَ بِهَا عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَكُلُّ قُدْرَتِكَ مُسْتَطِيْلَةٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ كُلِّهَا۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min mashee'atika bi-amdaahaa wakullu mashee'atika maadiyah.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bimashee'atika kullihaa.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min qudratika bil-qudrati allatee istatalta bihaa 'alaa kulli shay'in wakullu qudratika mustateelah.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka biqudratika kullihaa.
O Allah I ask You to give me from Your Will that (simultaneously) takes effect, and all Your wills are (at once) executed; O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your wills. O Allah I ask You to give me from that omnipotence of Yours which controls everything, and at all events Your omnipotence dominates. O Allah I beseech You in the name of Your all-embracing omnipotence.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری نافذ ہونے والی مرضی کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اور تیری ہر مرضی نافذ ہونے والی ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری ہر مرضی کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری اس قدرت کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں جس سے تو ہر چیز پر تسلط رکھتا ہے اور تیری تمام قدرت تسلط رکھنے والی ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری کلی قدرت کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ عِلْمِكَ بِاَنْفَذِهٖ وَكُلُّ عِلْمِكَ نَافِذٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ قَوْلِكَ بِاَرْضَاهُ وَكُلُّ قَوْلِكَ رَضِيٌّ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِقَوْلِكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min 'ilmika bi-anfazihee wakullu 'ilmika naafiz.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bi'ilmika kullih.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min qawlika bi-ardaahu wakullu qawlika radiyy.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka biqawlika kullih.
O Allah I ask You to give me from Your Wisdom that pierces through and enforces, and Your Wisdom is altogether effective, O Allah I beseech You in the name of Your Wisdom. O Allah I ask You to give me from Your promise which always is fulfilled, and all Your promises are kept and fulfilled, O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your promises.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے بہت نفوذ کرنے والے علم کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اور تیرا تمام علم نافذ تر ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے سارے ہی علم کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے قول سے سوال کرتا ہوں جو پسندیدہ تر ہے اور تیرا ہر قول پسندیدہ ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے ہر قول کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ مَسَآئِلِكَ بِاَحَبِّهَا اِلَيْكَ وَكُلُّ مَسَآئِلِكَ اِلَيْكَ حَبِيْبَةٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِمَسَآئِلِكَ كُلِّهَا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ شَرَفِكَ بِاَشْرَفِهٖ وَكُلُّ شَرَفِكَ شَرِيْفٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِشَرَفِكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min masaa'ilika bi-ahabbihaa ilayka wakullu masaa'ilika ilayka habeebah.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bimasaa'ilika kullihaa.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min sharafika bi-ashrafihee wakullu sharafika shareef.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bisharafika kullih.
O Allah I ask You to give me from Your Channels which are most dear to You, and all that which is dear to You is most desirable, O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your Channels. O Allah I ask You to give me from Your distinctions that vie in glory, and all Your distinctions are noble; O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your distinctions.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیرے محبوب تر مسائل سے کہ وہ سب کے سب تیرے نزدیک محبوب و مطلوب ہیں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے تمام مسائل کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے شرف میں سے اعلیٰ تر شرف کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اور تیرا ہر شرف اعلیٰ تر ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے تمام شرف کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ سُلْطَانِكَ بِاَدْوَمِهٖ وَكُلُّ سُلْطَانِكَ دَآئِمٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِسُلْطَانِكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ مُلْكِكَ بِاَفْخَرِهٖ وَكُلُّ مُلْكِكَ فَاخِرٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِمُلْكِكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min sultaanika bi-adwamihee wakullu sultaanika daa'im.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bisultaanika kullih.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min mulkika bi-afkharihee wakullu mulkika faakhir.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bimulkika kullih.
O Allah I ask You to give me from Your sovereignty which lasts and continues forever, and for all times Your sovereignty is everlasting; O Allah I beseech You in the name of Your absolute sovereignty. O Allah I ask You to give me from Your kingdom that surpasses in glory and nobility, and in reality Your kingdom alone is the most celebrated and magnificent; O Allah I beseech You in the name of Your unlimited kingdom.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیری سلطنت سے جو ہمیشہ ہمیشہ کے لئے ہے اور تیری سلطنت ہے ہی ہمیشگی والی اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری ساری سلطنت کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے پُر فخر ملک کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اور تیرا تمام ملک ہی موجبِ فخر ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے تمام ملک کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ عُلُوِّكَ بِاَعْلَاهُ وَكُلُّ عُلُوِّكَ عَالٍ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِعُلُوِّكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ مَّنِّكَ بِاَقْدَمِهٖ وَكُلُّ مَنِّكَ قَدِيْمٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِمَنِّكَ كُلِّهٖ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min 'uluwwika bi-a'laahu wakullu 'uluwwika 'aal.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bi'uluwwika kullih.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min mannika bi-aqdamihee wakullu mannika qadeem.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bimannika kullih.
O Allah I ask You to give me from Your highest height that exalts, and Your eminence is altogether sublime; O Allah I beseech You in the name of Your highest sublimeness. O Allah I ask You to give me from Your bounties which always move ahead, come in advance, and all Your bounties are eternal, O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your bounties.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری بلند تر بلندی کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اور تیری ہر بلندی بلند تر ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری تمام تر بلندی کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے احسان کے قدیم ہونے کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اور تیرا ہر احسان قدیم ہے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیرے تمام احسانات کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ مِنْ آيَاتِكَ بِاَكْرَمِهَا وَكُلُّ آيَاتِكَ كَرِيْمَةٌ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِآيَاتِكَ كُلِّهَا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِمَا اَنْتَ فِيْهِ مِنَ الشَّانِ وَالْجَبَرُوْتِ وَاَسْئَلُكَ بِكُلِّ شَاْنٍ وَّحْدَهٗ وَجَبَرُوْتٍ وَّحْدَهَا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِمَا تُجِيْبُنِيْ بِهٖ حِيْنَ اَسْئَلُكَ فَاَجِبْنِيْ يَا اللهُ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka min aayaatika bi-akramihaa wakullu aayaatika kareemah.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bi-aayaatika kullihaa.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bimaa anta feehi mina ash-shaani wal-jabarooti wa-as'aluka bikulli sha'nin wahdahoo wajabarootin wahdahaa.
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bimaa tujeebunee bihee heena as'aluka fa-ajibnee yaa allaah.
O Allah I ask You to give me from Your signs which gives out freely, and all Your signs are generous; O Allah I beseech You in the name of all Your signs. O Allah I ask You to give me whereby You exercise absolute authority and power, I beseech You in the name of (Your) total exclusive omnipotence, and singular absolute authority. O Allah I ask You to give me whereby You give answer to my supplication whenever I turn to You, therefore hear my prayers O Allah.
اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری آیات میں سے بزرگ تر آیت کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اور تیری سبھی آیات بزرگ ہیں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے تیری تمام آیات کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! میں تجھ سے اس کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں جس میں تو قدرت اور شان کے ساتھ ہے اور میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں ہر نرالی شان اور یکتا بزرگی کے ذریعے اے معبود! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اس چیز کے ذریعے جس سے تو میری دعا قبول فرماتا ہے جب میں تجھ سے سوال کروں، پس میری دعا قبول فرما اے اللہ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Now pray for your needs so that Allah (swt) fulfill your wishes.
اس کے بعد اپنی ہر حاجت طلب کرے تاکہ خدائے تعالیٰ اسے پوری کرے۔
You can also recite Ya Mafzaee.
اس دعا کو بھی پڑھے یَامَفْزَعِیْ
