Night of Merajشبِ معراج
Eve of 27th Rajab
The Day of Mab’as, celebrated on the 27th Rajab. On this day, the Holy Prophet (s) was appointed for conveying the Divine Mission of Almighty Allah when Archangel Gabriel first came to him with the Divine Revelation. Shaykh narrates in Misbah from Imam Abu Ja'far al-Jawad (a) that he said, “There is a night in Rajab that is better than everything upon which the sun shines, and it is the night of the 27th Rajab, the morning of which the Holy Prophet (s) was appointed to prophethood. Among our followers, one who does (acts of worship) at this night will have the reward of him who has worshipped Almighty Allah for sixty years.” When the Imam (a) was asked about the kind of acts at this night, he answered, “After you offer the Isha Prayer and sleep, you may wake up before midnight and offer the following.
یہ بڑی متبرک راتوں میں سے ہے کیوں کہ یہ رسول اللہؐ کے مبعث (تبلیغ پر مامور ہونے) کی رات ہے اور اس میں چند اعمال ہیں۔ مصباح میں شیخؒ نے امام ابو جعفر جوادؑ سے نقل کیا ہے کہ فرمایا : ماہ رجب میں ایک رات ہے کہ وہ ان سب چیزوں سے بہتر ہے جن پر سورج چمکتا ہے اور وہ ۲۷ رجب کی رات ہے کہ جس کی صبح رسول اعظمؐ مبعوث بہ رسالت ہوئے۔ ہمارے پیروکاروں میں جو اس رات عمل کرے گا تو اس کو ساٹھ سال کے عمل کا ثواب حاصل ہوگا۔ میں نے عرض کیا :اس رات کا عمل کیا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا : نماز عشا کے بعد سوجائے اور پھر آدھی رات سے پہلے اٹھ کر اس طرح سے عمل بجا لائے۔۔۔
Perform Ghusl (spiritual bath).
غسل کریں۔
Recite Namaz-e-Meraj.
آج کی رات نمازِ معراج پڑھے۔
Recite dua-e-Meraj Allahumma… bit-tajallee.
دُعاء معراج اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ۔۔۔ بِالتَّجَلِّيْ پڑھے۔
Also recite 15th Eve Namaz of Rajab.
مستحب ہے کہ ۱۵؍شب رجب کی نماز بھی پڑھے۔
Recite Ziyarat-e-Meraj.
پھر زیارتِ معراج پڑھے۔
Recite Ziyarat-e-Rajabiya.
مستحب ہے کہ زیارتِ رجبیہپڑھے۔
