Ya zallazi kaana

یَاذَاالَّذِیْ کَانَ

1. In his book of Al-Muqniah, Shaikh Mufid has narrated on the authority of Ali ibn Mahziyar, that Imam Muhammad Taqi (a) has recommended to say this dua as many times as possible during the month of Ramazan and specially on the eve of 19th Mahe Ramazan…

   کتاب مقنعہ میں شیخ مفیدؒ نے ثقہ جلیل علی ابن مہزیار سے روایت کی ہے کہ امام محمد تقیؑ نے فرمایا:ماہِ رمضان کے دنوں اور راتوں میں اس دعا کو زیادہ سے زیادہ پڑھے۔۔۔

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. یَاذَاالَّذِیْ کَانَ قَبْلَ کُلِّ شَیْٓءٍ ثُمَّ خَلَقَ کُلَّ شَیْٓءٍ ثُمَّ یَبْقٰی وَیَفْنٰی کُلُّ شَیْٓءٍ یَاذَا الَّذِیْ لَیْسَ کَمِثْلِہٖ شَیْٓءٌ وَیَا ذَا الَّذِیْ لَیْسَ فِی السَّمٰوَاتِ الْعُلٰی وَلَا فِی الْاَرَضِیْنَ السُّفْلٰی وَلَا فَوْقَھُنَّ وَلَا تَحْتَھُنَّ وَلَا بَیْنَھُنَّ اِلٰہٌ یُعْبَدُ غَیْرُہٗ لَکَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا لَا یَقْوٰی عَلٰی اِحْصَآئِہٖ اِلَّا اَنْتَ فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلٰوۃً لٰا یَقْوٰی عَلٰی اِحْصَآئِھَا اِلَّا اَنْتَ۔

   YAA ZAALLAZEE KAANA QABLA KULLI SHAY'IN THUMMA KHALAQA KULLA SHAY'IN THUMMA YABQAA WAYAFNAA KULLU SHAY'IN YAA ZAA ALLAZEE LAYSA KAMITHLIHEE SHAY'UN WAYAA ZAA ALLAZEE LAYSA FEE AS-SAMAAWAATI AL-'ULAA WALAA FEE AL-ARADEENA AS-SUFLAA WALAA FAWQAHUNNA WALAA TAHTAHUNNA WALAA BAYNAHUNNA ILAAHUN YU'BADU GHAYRUHOO LAKA AL-HAMDU HAMDAN LAA YAQWAA 'ALAA IHSAA'IHEE ILLAA ANTA FASALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMADIN SALAATAN LAA YAQWAA 'ALAA IHSAA'IHAA ILLAA ANT.

   O that One who is (Ever existing) Supreme Being and was there before any and everything, then (after that) He created all things. He is eternal and all that has been created is mortal. O that One like unto Him there is nothing. O that One who is such that no one in the high heavens, nor in the low earths, nor above, below and in between, worship anyone other than Him as a God. Praise be to Thee. It is not possible to count up, remember and narrate Thy praise in all its dimensions. Thou alone can do it. Therefore send blessings on Muhammad and on the children of Muhammad, blessings that no one other than Thou has the capacity to count, remember and narrate its meaning and true purpose.

   اے وہ جو ہر چیز سے پہلے موجود تھا پھر ہر ایک چیز کو پیدا کیا تو وہ جو باقی رہے گا اور ہر چیز فنا ہو جائے گی اے وہ جس کے مانند کوئی چیز نہیں اے وہ جس کے سوا نہ بلند آسمانوں میں اور نہ پست ترین زمینوں میں اور نہ ان کے اوپر اور نہ ان کے نیچے اور نہ ان کے درمیان کوئی معبود ہے جس کی عبادت کی جائے تیرے لئے حمد ہے وہ حمد کہ کوئی اسے شمار نہ کر سکے سوائے تیرے پس حضرت محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما وہ رحمت کہ کوئی اسے شمار نہ کر سکے سوائے تیرے۔

4. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔

5. You can also recite Allahumma… an taj’ala.

   اس دعا کو بھی پڑھے اَللّٰہُمَّ۔۔۔ اَنْ تَجْعَلَ
