Allahumma la taj’alhu

اَللّٰہُمَّ لَاتَجْعَلْہٗ

1. Sayyid Ibn Tawus has reported Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a) as saying: Whoever bids farewell to the month of Ramazan with this dua, Allah (swt) will forgive him before it dawns and will confer upon him with the bliss of submission before Him…

   سید ابن طاؤسؒ نے امام جعفر صادقؑ سے روایت کی ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا: جو شخص ماہ رمضان کی آخری رات کو الوداع کرے تو یہ کہے۔ جوشخص ان کلمات کے ساتھ ماہ رمضان کوالوداع کرے تو حق تعالیٰ اسے صبح ہونے سے پہلے بخش دے گا اور اس کو توبہ و استغفار کی توفیق عطا کرے گا۔۔۔

2. بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

   BISMI ALLAAHI AR-RAHMAANI AR-RAHEEM

   In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

   اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

3. اَللّٰہُمَّ لَاتَجْعَلْہٗ اٰخِرَ الْعَھْدِ مِنْ صِیَامِیْ لِشَھْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَاَعُوْذُ بِکَ اَنْ یَّطْلُعَ فَجْرُ ھٰذِہِ الَّیْلَۃِ اِلَّا وَقَدْ غَفَرْتَ لِیْ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA LAA TAJ'ALHOO AAKHIRA AL-'AHDI MIN SIYAAMEE LISHAHRI RAMADAANA WA-A'OOZU BIKA AN YATLU'A FAJRU HAAZIHI ALLAYLATI ILLAA WAQAD GHAFARTA LEE.

   O Allah: (please) do not decide my observance of fasting in this month of Ramazan to be the last of my (life’s) observance of fasting. I take refuge with Thee lest the dawn of this night breaks forth without me having been positively forgiven.

   اے اﷲ! رمضان کے اس مہینے کے روزے میرے لئے آخری روزے قرار نہ دے اور میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں تیری اس سے کہ اس رات کی صبح ہو جائے لیکن تو نے مجھے بخش نہ دیا ہو۔

4. اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

   ALLAAHUMMA SALLI 'ALAA MUHAMMADIN WA-AALI MUHAMMAD.

   O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

   اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔

5. Recite dua Allahumma… be-ahab-be.

   دُعا اَللّٰہُمَّ۔۔۔ بِاَحَبِّ پڑھے۔
