بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اِلَی اللهِ سُبْحَانَهٗ وَتَقَدَّسَتْ اَسْمَاؤُهٗ، رَبِّ الْاَرْبَابِ، وَقَاصِمِ الْجَبَابِرَۃِ الْعِظَامِ، عَالِمِ الْغَیْبِ وَكَاشِفِ الضُّرِّ، اَلَّذِیْ سَبَقَ فِیْ عِلْمِهٖ مَا كَانَ وَمَا یَكُوْنُ، مِنْ عَبْدِهِ الذَّلِیْلِ الْمِسْكِیْنِ، اَلَّذِیْ انْقَطَعَتْ بِهِ الْاَسْبَابُ، وَطَالَ عَلَیْهِ اللْعَذَابُ، وَهَجَرَهُ الْاَهْلُ، وَبَایَنَهُ الصِّدِیْقُ الْحَمِیْمُ فَبَقِیَ مُرْتَهِنًا بِذَنْبِهٖ، قَدْ اَوْبَقَهٗ جُرْمُهٗ، وَطَلَبَ النَّجَا(ۃَ) فَلَمْ یَجِدْ مَلْجَاً وَلَا مُلْتَجَاً، غَیْرَ الْقَادِرِ عَلٰی حَلِّ الْعَقْدِ، وَمُؤَیِّدِ الْاَبَدِ، فَفَزَعِیْ اِلَیْهِ وَاعْتِمَادِیْ عَلَیْهِ، وَلَا لَجَاَ وَلَا مُلْتَجَاَ اِلَّا اِلَیْهِ۔ اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْاَلُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ الْمَاضِیْ، وَبِنُوْرِكَ الْعَظِیْمِ، وَبِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِیْمِ، وَبِحُجَّتِكَ الْبَالِغَۃِ، اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰی اَلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَاَنْ تَاخُذَ بِیَدِیْ وَتَجْعَلَنِیْ مِمَّنْ تَقْبَلُ دَعْوَتَهٗ، وَتُقِیْلَ عَشْرَتَهٗ، تَكْشِفُ كُرْبَتَهٗ، وَتُزِیْلُ تَرْ حَتَهٗ وَتَجْعَلُ لَهٗ مِنْ اَمْرِهٖ فَرَجًا وَمَخْرِجًا، وَتَرُدَّ عَنِّیْ بَاسَ هٰذَا الظَّالِمِ الْغَاشِمِ، وَبَاسَ النَّاسِ یَا رَبَّ الْمَلَائِكَۃِ وَالنَّسِ، حَسْبِیْ اَنْتَ وَكَفٰی مَنْ اَنْتَ حَسْبُهٗ، یَا كَاشِفَ الْاُمُوْرِ الْعِظَامِ، فَاِنَّهٗ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِكَ۔
Ilaa allaahi subhaanahoo wataqaddasat asmaawhoo, rabbi al-arbaabi, waqaasimi al-jabaabirati al-'izaami, 'aalimi al-ghaybi wakaashifi ad-durri, allazee sabaqa fee 'ilmihee maa kaana wamaa yakoonu, min 'abdihi az-zaleeli al-miskeeni, allazee anqata'at bihi al-asbaabu, wataala 'alayhi al-l'azaabu, wahajarahu al-ahlu, wabaayanahu as-sideequ al-hameemu fabaqiya murtahinan bizanbihee, qad awbaqahoo jurmuhoo, watalaba an-najaa(ta) falam yajid maljaan walaa multajaan, ghayra al-qaadiri 'alaa halli al-'aqdi, wamuwyyidi al-abadi, fafaza'ee ilayhi wa'timaadee 'alayhi, walaa lajaa walaa multajaa illaa ilayhi.
Allaahumma innee asaluka bi'ilmika al-maadee, wabinoorika al-'azeemi, wabiwajhika al-kareemi, wabihujjatika al-baalighati, an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin wa'alaa ali muhammadin, waan taakhuza biyadee wataj'alanee mimman taqbalu da'watahoo, watuqeela 'ashratahoo, takshifu kurbatahoo, watuzeelu tar hatahoo wataj'alu lahoo min amrihee farajan wamakhrijan, watarudda 'annee baasa haazaa az-zaalimi al-ghaashimi, wabaasa an-naasi yaa rabba al-malaa'ikati wan-nasi, hasbee anta wakafaa man anta hasbuhoo, yaa kaashifa al-umoori al-'izaami, fainnahoo laa hawla walaa quwwata illaa bika. auto
To Allah Almighty, whose names are glorified, the Lord of all lords, the destroyer of all the chief tyrants, the Knower of the unseen and the rescuer from difficulties, He who had the knowledge of what has happened and what will happen from before; from His disgraced and destitute servant, who is disconnected from all means and sources, and entanglements are prolonged for him, who is separated from his family, and is left alone by his dear friends in the cobweb of sins and mistakes, who is devastated by his crimes, who sought deliverance but found no shelter or refuge, who is not capable of solving his difficulty, and has eternalized the everlasting, hence I seek shelter in Him and rely on He save whom there is no shelter or refuge. O Allah, indeed I ask You by the means of Your certain knowledge, and Your great Light, and Your beneficent position, and through Your expressive Proof, to bless Mohammad and his household, and to hold my hand and regard me among those whose prayers You accept, and whose mistakes You forgive, whose difficulties You resolve, whose helplessness is ended by You, and for whom You regard relief and exit in his affairs, and rescue me from the evil of this transgressing tyrant, and from the evil of all people, O Lord of the Angels and the humans, You are sufficient for me, and You are enough for those whom You suffice, O solver of all the great affairs, thus indeed no movement and no Power exists without You.
اس اللہ کی طرف جو پاک و منزّہ ہے جس کے اسماء بھی پاک ہیں جو ربّ الارباب ہے اور کمر توڑنے والا ہے بڑے بڑے سرکشوں کی، غیب کا جاننے والا اور دور کرنے والا ہے مصائب کا، جس کے علم میں وہ سب کچھ ہے جو ابتک ہو چوکا ہے اور جو آئندہ ہونے والا ہے اس بندۂ ذلیل و کمترین و مسکین کا جس کے منقطع ہو چکے ہیں سارے ذرائع اور وہ طویل عرصے سے مبتلائے عزاب ہے، اور چھوڑ دیا ہے اسکو اسکے اہل و ایال نے اور کنارہ کشی کرلی ہے اس کے مخلص اور گہرے دوستوں نے، گرفتار ہے اپنے گناہوں میں، ہلاک کر دیا ہے اسکو اسکے جرائم نے، اور اس نے بہت تلاش کی ہے پناہ کے لئے مگر نہ کوئی جائے پناہ ملی اس کو اور نہ کوئی پناہ دینے والا، سوائے اس قادر مطلق کے جو ہر گرہ کو کھولنے پر قدرت رکھتا ہے اور دور فرماتا رہا ہے ہمیشہ، پس اسی سے میری فریاد ہے اور اسی کے اوپر مجھے بھروسہ ہے، نہ کوئی پناہ گاہ ہے اور نہ کوئی پناہ دینے والا ہے سوائے اس کے اور نہ منقطع کروں گا میں اپنی امید کو اُس سے۔ یا اللہ! بیشک میں تجھ سے التجا کرتا ہوں تجھے واسطہ اپنے گذشتہ علم کا اور اپنے نورِ عظیم کا واسطہ اور تجھے تیرے چہرٔ مکرّم کا واسطہ اور تجھے اپنی حجّتِ کامل کا واسطہ، یہ کہ تو درود بھیج محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؑ پر اور یہ کہ میری دستگیری فرما اور قرار دے مجھے ان لوگوں میں سے جنکی توبہ تو قبول فرماتا ہے اور جنکے گناہ معاف کرتا ہے اور درگزر کرتا ہے جنکی خطاکو تو دور کرتا ہے جنکی مصیبت کو دور کرتا ہے جن کے زخم کو اور جنکے اُمور میں تو ان کے لئے کشادگی پیدا کرتا ہے (پروردگارا!) تو دور فرما دے مجھ سے ظلم کو اس ظالم جفا کار کے اور لوگوں کے شر سے پناہ دے اے پالنے والے تمام ملائکہ اور انسانوں کے۔ کافی ہے تو میرے لیے اور کافی ہے ہر اس شخص سے جو تجھے کافی سمجھے، اے دور کرنے والے بڑے بڑے اُمور کے، بیشک نہ کوئی طاقت و قوّت ہے سوائے تیری عطا کی ہوئی۔
تَوَسَّلْتُ بِحُجَّۃِ اللهِ الْخَلَفِ الصَّالِحْ، مُحَمَّدٍ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ مُوْسَی بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیِّ بْنِ اَبِیْ طَالِبٍ، اَلنَّبَاِ الْعَظِیْمِ، وَالصِّرَاطِ الْمُسْتَقِیْمِ، وَالْحَبْلِ الْمَتِیْنِ، عِصْمَۃِ الْمَلْجَاِ، وَقَسِیْمِ الْجَنَّۃِ وَالنَّارِ۔ اَتَوَسَّلُ اِلَیْكَ بِآبَائِكَ الطَّاهِرِیْنَ الْخَیِّرِیْنَ الْمُنْتَجَبِیْنَ، وَاُمَّهَاتِكَ الطَّاهِرَاتِ الْبَاقِیَاتِ الصَّالِحَاتِ، اَلَّذِیْنَ ذَكَرَهُمُ اللهُ فِیْ كِتَابِهٖ، فَقَالَ عَزَّ مَنْ قَائِلٌ (اَلْبَاقِیَاتُ الصَّالِهَاتُ) وَبِجَدِّكَ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَخَلِیْلِهٖ وَحَبِیْبِهٖ وَخَیْرَتِهٖ مِنْ خَلْقِهٖ، اَنْ تَكُوْنَ وَسِیْلَتِیْ اِلَی اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِیْ كَشْفِ ضُرِّیْ، وَحَلِّ عَقْدِیْ، وَفَرَجِ حَسْرَتِیْ، وَكَشْفِ بَلِیَّتِیْ، وَتَنْفِیْسِ تَرْحَتِیْ، وَبِكَهٰیْعَصْ وَبِیْسَ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِیْمِ، وَبِالْكَلِمَۃِ الطَّیِّبَۃِ۔ وَبِمَجَارِی الْقُرْآنِ، وَبِمُسْتَقَرِّ الرَّحْمَۃِ، وَبِجَبَرُوْتِ الْعَظَمَۃِ، وَبِاللَّوْحِ الْمَحْفُوْظِ، وَبِحَقِیْقَۃِ الْاِیْمَانِ، وَقِوَامِ الْبُرْهَانِ، بِنُوْرِ النُّوْرِ، وَبِمَعْدَنِ النُّوْرِ، وَالْحِجَابِ الْمَسْتُوْرِ، وَالْبَیْتِ الْمَعْمُوْرِ، وَبِالسَّبْعِ الْمَثَانِیْ، وَالْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِیْمِ، وَفَرَائِضِ الْاَحْكَامِ، وَالْمُكَلَّمِ بِالْعِبْرَانِیِّ، وَالْمُتَرْجَمِ بِالْیُوْنَانِیِّ، وَالْمَنَاجٰی بِالسِّرْیَانِیِّ، وَمَا دَارَ فِی الْخَطَرَاتِ، وَمَالَمْ یُحِطْ بِهٖ لِلظُّنُوْنِ، مِنْ عِلْمِكَ الْمَخْزُوْنِ، وَبِسِرِّكَ الْمَصُوْنِ، وَالتَّوْرَاۃِ وَالْاِنْجِیْلِ وَالزَّبُوْرِ۔ یَا ذَالْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِهٖ، وَ خُذْ بِیَدِیْ، وَفَرِّجْ عَنِّیْ بِاَنْوَارِكَ وَاَقْسَامِكَ وَكَلِمَاتِكَ الْبَالِغَۃِ، اِنَّكَ جَوَادٌ كَرِیْمٌ، وَحَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِیْلُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ، وَسَلَوَاتُهٗ وَسَلَامُهٗ عَلٰی صَفْوَتِهٖ مِنْ بَرِیَّتِهٖ مُحَمَّدٍ وَذُرِّیَّتِهٖ۔
Tawassaltu bihujjati allaahi al-khalafi as-saalih, muhammadin bni al-hasani bni 'aliyyi bni muhammadi bni 'aliyyi bni moosaa bni ja'farin bni muhammadi bni 'aliyyi bni al-husayni bni 'aliyyi bni abee taalibin, an-nabai al-'azeemi, was-siraati al-mustaqeemi, wal-habli al-mateeni, 'ismati al-maljai, waqaseemi al-jannati wan-naari.
Atawassalu ilayka bibaa'ika at-taahireena al-khayyireena al-muntajabeena, waummahaatika at-taahiraati al-baaqiyaati as-saalihaati, allazeena zakarahumu allaahu fee kitaabihee, faqaala 'azza man qaa'ilun (albaaqiyaatu as-saalihaatu) wabijaddika rasooli allaahi sallaa allaahu 'alayhi waaalihee wakhaleelihee wahabeebihee wakhayratihee min khalqihee, an takoona waseelatee ilaa allaahi 'azza wajalla fee kashfi durree, wahalli 'aqdee, wafaraji hasratee, wakashfi baliyyatee, watanfeesi tarhatee, wabikahaa'as wabeesa wal-qurni al-hakeemi, wabilkalimati at-tayyibati.
Wabimajaaree al-qurni, wabimustaqarri ar-rahmati, wabijabarooti al-'azamati, wabilllawhi al-mahfoozi, wabihaqeeqati al-eemaani, waqiwaami al-burhaani, binoori an-noori, wabima'dani an-noori, wal-hijaabi al-mastoori, wal-bayti al-ma'moori, wabilssab'i al-mathaanee, wal-qurni al-'azeemi, wafaraa'idi al-ahkaami, wal-mukallami bil-'ibraaniyyi, wal-mutarjami bil-yoonaaniyyi, wal-manaajaa bis-siryaaniyyi, wamaa daara fee al-khataraati, wamaalam yuhit bihee liz-zunooni, min 'ilmika al-makhzooni, wabisirrika al-masooni, wat-tawraati wal-injeeli waz-zaboori.
Yaa zaljalaali wal-ikraami salli 'alaa muhammadin waaalihee, wa khuz biyadee, wafarrij 'annee bianwaarika waaqsaamika wakalimaatika al-baalighati, innaka jawaadun kareemun, wahasbunaa allaahu wani'ma al-wakeelu, walaa hawla walaa quwwata illaa billaahi al-'aliyyi al-'azeemi, wasalawaatuhoo wasalaamuhoo 'alaa safwatihee min bariyyatihee muhammadin wazurriyyatihee. auto
I seek means through the Proof of Allah, the noble successor, Mohammad bin al-Hasan bin Ali bin Mohammad bin Ali bin Musa bin Jafar bin Mohammad bin Ali bin al-Husain bin Ali bin Abi Talib, the great news, the straight path, the firm rope, the reliable shelter, the divider of the Heaven and Hell. I seek means to you through your purified predecessors, the noblemen, the chosen ones, and your purified mothers, the enduring good deeds, those whom Allah has mentioned in His Book, and said: the enduring good deeds, and through your Prophet, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his family and his friend and his beloved and His chosen ones from the creation, my request is that You become the means towards Allah Almighty for ending my difficulties, and solving my problem, and relieving me from my sorrows, and removing my calamities, and taking away all my helplessness; through the means of and the Holy Quran, and the noble words. And through the sources of Quran, and the rest-house of mercy, and the grandness and sublimity, and the protected tablet, and the truth of faith, and the endurance of evidence, and the brightness of light, and the source of light, and the hidden veil, and Bait-ul-Mamoor (the place which is circumambulated by the dwellers of heaven), and through Sab ul Masani (Surah Hamd), and the great Quran, and the obligatory commands, and the speaker of Hebrew, and through that which is spoken in Hebrew, and that which is translated to Greek, and that which is supplicated in Syriac, and that which entered the thoughts, and that which the assumptions cannot overcome, from Your treasured knowledge, and Your Protected Secret, and the Torah, the Gospel and the Psalms. O Holder of dignity and honor, bless Mohammad and his household, and hold my hand, and give us relief through Your Lights and Your Vows and Your Evident Words, indeed You are Generous and Beneficent, Allah is sufficient for us and He is the Best Disposer of affairs, and there is no movement or power but through Allah, the Almighty, the Sublime, and His Peace and Blessings be upon His chosen one from the creations, Mohammad and his household.
میں نے وسیلہ بنایا ہے حجّتِ خدا خلفِ صالح محمد (عج) ابن حسنؑ ابن علیؑ ابن محمدؑ ابن علیؑ ابن موسٰیؑ ابن جعفرؑ ابن محمدؑ ابن علیؑ ابن حسینؑ ابن علی ابن ابو طالبؑ کو جو خبرإ عظیم اور صراطِ مستقیم اور (اللہ کی) مضبوت رسّی اور تقسیم کرنے والے ہیں جنّت و دوزخ کے۔ میں نے وسیلہ بنایا ہے آپ کی طرف آپ کے آبائے پاکیزگان کو جو نیکوکار، منتخبِ روزگار ہیں اور آپکی اتہات طاہرات کو اور ان کو جنکا شمار باقیات الصالحات میں ہے جن کا ذکر اللہ نے اپنی کتاب میں کیا ہے۔ چنانشہ اُس نے فرمایا ہے کہ باقی رہنے والی نیکیاں تیرے رب کے نزدیک بہتر ہیں از روئے ثواب اور ان سے اچھی امیدوابستہ ہیں، اور آپ کے جدِّ امجد رسول اللہؐ کو ذریعہ بناتا ہوں جو اُسکے محبوب اور منتخب ہے اسکے مخلوق میں۔ (مولا!) آپ میرا وسیلہ بن جائیے اللہ کی بارگاہ میں جو بزرگی والا ہے، دور مرنے میں میری مصیبتوں کو اور میری عقرہ کشائی میں اور میری آرزوؤں کو پورا کرنے میں اور دور کرنے میں میری بلاؤں کو اور دفع کرنے میں میرے رنج وغم اور (اے اللہ!) واسطہ ک۔ہٰ۔یٰ۔ع۔ص کا اور یٰس و قرآنِ حکیم کا اور کلمئہ طیّبہ کا واسطہ۔ اور قرارگاہِ رحمت کا واسطہ اور تیری عظیم طاقت کا واسطہ اور واسطہ تجھ کو لوحِ محفوظ کا اور حاملانِ قرآن کا اور حقیقتِ ایمان کا اور برہان قائم کرنے والے کا اور واسطہ تجھے نور کے نور کا اور مخزنِ نور کا اور پردۂ پوشیدہ کا اور بیتِ معمور کا اور تجھے واسطہ سبع مثانی (۷ آیتوں والے سورۂ حمد) کا اور قرآنِ عظیم کا اور فرائضِ احکام کا اور بات کرنے والے کاعبرانی زبان میں اور ترجمہ کرنے والے کا واسطہ ہونانی زبان میں اور مناجات کرنے والے کا سریانی زبان میں اور جو زہن میں گردش کرتے رہتے ہیں اور جن کا احاطہ وہم و گمان میں بھی نہیں ہوتا تیرے خزانۂ علم کا اور تیرے پوشیدہ رازوں کا اور واسطہ تاریت و انجیل و زبور اور فرقان کا۔ اے صاحبِ جلالت و بزرگی! درود بھیج حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر اور میری دستگیری فرما اور میری جشائش فرما تجھے واسطہ اپنے انوار اور اقسام اور کلماتِ مکمل کا بیشک تو ہی بخشش و کرم والاہے اور کافی ہے ہمارے لیے اللہ اور وہ بہترین کارساز ہے اور نہ کوئی طاقت وقوت مگر اللہ کی عطا کردہ، جو بلند و عظیم ہے، درود ہو اسکا اور سلام ہو اس کا اسکے منتخب بندے اس کی مخلوق میں سے محمدؐ اور انکی اولادؑ پر۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْاَلُكَ بِالْقُدْرَۃِ الَّتِیْ لَحَظْتَ بِهَا الْبَحْرَ الْعِجَاجَ، فَاَزْبَدَ وَهَاجَ وَمَاجَ، وَكَانَ كَااللَّیْلِ الدَّاجِ، طَوْعًالِاَمْرِكَ، وَخَوْفًا مِنْ سَطْوَتِكَ، فَاَفْتَقَ اُجَاجُهٗ، وَائْتَلَقَ مِنْهَاجُهٗ، وَسَبَّحَتْ جَزَائِرُهٗ، وَقَدَّسَتْ جَوَاهِرُهٗ، تُنَادِیْكَ حِیْتَانُهٗ بِاخْتِلَافِ لُغَاتِهَا، اِلٰهَنَا وَسَیِّدَنَا مَا الَّذِیْ نَزَلَ بِنَا، وَمَا الَّذِیْ حَلَّ بِبَحْرِنَا فَقُلْتَ لَهَا اُسْكَنِیْ سَاُسْكِنُكَ مَلِیًّا، وَاُجَاوِرُبِكَ عَبْدًا زَكِیًّا۔ فَسَكَنَ وَسَبَّحَ وَ وَعَدَ بِضَمَائِرِ الْمِنَحِ۔ فَلَمَّا نَزَلَ بِهِ ابْنُ مَتّٰی بِمَا اَلِمَ الظُّنُوْنَ، فَلَمَّا صَارَ فِیْ فِیْهَا سَبَّحَ فِیْ اُمْعَائِهَا، فَبَكَتِ الْجِبَالُ عَلَیْهِ تَلَهُّفًا، وَاَشْفَقَتْ عَلَیْهِ الْاَرْضُ تَاَسُّفًا، فَیُوْنُسُ فِیْ حُوْتِهٖ كَمُوْسٰی فِیْ تَابُوْتِهٖ لِاَمْرِكَ طَائِعٌ، وَلِوَجْحِكَ سَاجِدٌ خَاضِعٌ، فَلَمَّا اَحْبَبْتَ اَنْ تَقِیَهٗ اَلْقِیْتَهٗ بِشَاطِیِٔ الْبَحْرِ شَلْوًا لَا تَنْظُرُ عَیْنَاهُ، وَلَا تِبْطِشُ یَدَاهُ، وَلَا تَرْكُضُ رِجْلَاهُ، وَاَنْبَتَّ مِنَّۃً مِّنْكَ عَلَیْهِ شَجَرَۃً مِّنْ یَقْطِیْنٍ، وَاَجْرَیْتَ لَهٗ فُرَاتًا مِنْ مَعِیْنٍ، فَلَمَّا اسْتَغْفَرَ وَتَابَ خَرَقْتَ لَهٗ اِلَی الْجَنَّۃِ بَابًا، اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ۔
Allaahumma innee asaluka bil-qudrati allatee lahazta bihaa al-bahra al-'ijaaja, faazbada wahaaja wamaaja, wakaana kaalllayli ad-daaji, taw'anliamrika, wakhawfan min satwatika, faaftaqa ujaajuhoo, wa'talaqa minhaajuhoo, wasabbahat jazaa'iruhoo, waqaddasat jawaahiruhoo, tunaadeeka heetaanuhoo bikhtilaafi lughaatihaa, allaahanaa wasayyidanaa maa allazee nazala binaa, wamaa allazee halla bibahrinaa faqulta lahaa uskanee sauskinuka maliyyan, waujaawirubika 'abdan zakiyyan.
Fasakana wasabbaha wa wa'ada bidamaa'iri al-minahi.
Falammaa nazala bihi abnu mattaa bimaa alima az-zunoona, falammaa saara fee feehaa sabbaha fee um'aa'ihaa, fabakati al-jibaalu 'alayhi talahhufan, waashfaqat 'alayhi al-ardu taassufan, fayoonusu fee hootihee kamoosaa fee taabootihee liamrika taa'i'un, waliwajhika saajidun khaadi'un, falammaa ahbabta an taqiyahoo al-qeetahoo bishaatiy al-bahri shalwan laa tanzuru 'aynaahu, walaa tibtishu yadaahu, walaa tarkudu rijlaahu, waanbatta minnatan minka 'alayhi shajaratan min yaqteenin, waajrayta lahoo furaatan min ma'eenin, falammaa astaghfara wataaba kharaqta lahoo ilaa al-jannati baaban, innaka anta al-wahhaabu. auto
O Allah, indeed I ask You for the sake of Your Power through which You have observed the great oceans, and created the storms and waves, and they became like a dark night, obeying Your command, and fearing Your awe, thus its salty water split, and its ways were adorned, and its islands engaged in glorification, and its treasures began exaltation, its whales calling You in different languages, O Lord, O Master, what has descended upon us? What has occurred in our oceans? Then You told the whales: Be calm (and said to the ocean): I will grant you relaxation soon, and will bring a pure and appropriate person in your vicinity, thus it relaxed and glorified and was promised for concealed rewards. When the son of Mata descended there, and faced such difficulties whose imagination is dreadful, and when he entered the mouth of the whale, and inside its belly, he began to glorify You, while the mountains began to weep on him, and the Earth felt pity for him and became saddened, the condition of Yunus inside the whale was the same as Musa inside the coffin, both of them obeyed Your command, and prostrated with humility before Your Sublime Existence; at last, when You wished to safeguard him, You dropped him on the seashore while his eyes weren’t capable of seeing, and his hands and legs did not have the power of any movement, at that time You favored upon him and grew a squash tree for him, and made drinkable water flow for him, and when he repented and sought forgiveness, You opened a path for him towards the Heaven, indeed You are the Bestower.
اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے اُس قدرت کے وسیلے سے سوال کرتا ہوں جس کے ساتھ تُو نے طوفانی، شوریدہ سمندر پر نظر ڈالی تو وہ جھاگ اُگلنے لگا، جوش میں آیا اور موجیں مارنے لگا، اور اندھیری رات کی طرح (ہیبت ناک) ہو گیا تیرے حکم کے آگے فرمانبردار اور تیری گرفت کے خوف سے لرزاں۔ پھر اس کی کھاری تیزی پھٹ گئی (نرمی آ گئی)، اس کا راستہ روشن ہو گیا، اس کے جزیرے تسبیح کرنے لگے اور اس کے جواہر (موتی و خزانے) تقدیس بیان کرنے لگے۔ اس کی مچھلیاں اپنی مختلف زبانوں میں تجھے پکارتی تھیں: اے ہمارے معبود اور آقا! ہمارے ساتھ کیا نازل ہوا؟ ہمارے سمندر کو کیا ہو گیا؟ تو نے اُن سے فرمایا: ٹھہر جاؤ، میں تمہیں ایک طویل مدت تک سکون عطا کروں گا، اور تمہارے جوار میں اپنے ایک پاکیزہ بندے کو رکھوں گا۔ پس وہ ٹھہر گیا، تسبیح کرنے لگا، اور اپنے باطن میں (تیری) نعمتوں کے وعدوں کو سموئے ہوئے رہا۔ پھر جب ابنِ متّٰی (یونسؑ) اپنے بارے میں پیدا ہونے والے گمانوں/اندیشوں کے سبب (سمندر میں) آ پڑے، پھر جب وہ اس (مچھلی) کے اندر چلے گئے تو وہ اس کے پیٹ/اندرونی حصوں میں تسبیح کرتے رہے۔ پس پہاڑ اُن پر حسرت سے روئے، اور زمین نے اُن پر افسوس کے ساتھ شفقت کی۔ تو یونسؑ اپنی مچھلی میں ایسے تھے جیسے موسٰیؑ اپنے تابوت میں تیرے حکم کے مطیع، اور تیرے حضور سجدہ ریز و عاجز۔ پھر جب تو نے چاہا کہ اُن کی حفاظت کرے تو تُو نے اُنہیں سمندر کے کنارے پر ایک بے جان/ناتواں جسم کی طرح ڈال دیا: نہ اُن کی آنکھیں دیکھتی تھیں، نہ ہاتھ پکڑتے تھے، نہ پاؤں دوڑتے تھے۔ اور تُو نے اپنی طرف سے اُن پر ایک احسان کے طور پر کدو/یقطین کا درخت اُگا دیا، اور اُن کے لیے میٹھا پانی جاری کر دیا۔ پھر جب انہوں نے استغفار کیا اور توبہ کی تو تُو نے اُن کے لیے جنت کی طرف ایک دروازہ کھول دیا۔ بے شک تُو ہی بڑا عطا فرمانے والا ہے۔
