Dua-e-Rajab-1دُعا ماہ رجب۔۱
One of the duas of the month of Rajab, reported from Imam al-Mahdi (ajtf) through his deputy and preserved in the a’maal of Rajab in the narration of Ibn Ayyash.
Its subject is the wasila. It asks Allah by the meaning of everything by which He is called upon by “those who govern by Thy authority” — the Imams — whom it describes as those entrusted with His mystery, the mines of His words, the pillars of the profession of His Unity, and His signs and stations, which are never interrupted. It closes by declaring Him beyond “how” and beyond “where”, veiled from every eye, and asks blessings upon Muhammad and his Household.

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ بِمَعَانِيْ جَمِيْعِ مَا يَدْعُوْكَ بِهٖ وُلَاةُ اَمْرِكَ الْمَامُوْنُوْنَ عَلٰى سِرِّكَ الْمُسْتَبْشِرُوْنَ بِاَمْرِكَ الْوَاصِفُوْنَ لِقُدْرَتِكَ الْمُعْلِنُوْنَ لِعَظَمَتِكَ اَسْئَلُكَ بِمَا نَطَقَ فِيْهِمْ مِنْ مَشِيَّتِكَ فَجَعَلْتَهُمْ مَعَادِنَ لِكَلِمَاتِكَ وَاَرْكَانًا لِتَوْحِيْدِكَ وَآيَاتِكَ وَمَقَامَاتِكَ الَّتِيْ لَا تَعْطِيْلَ لَهَا فِيْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ يَعْرِفُكَ بِهَا مَنْ عَرَفَكَ لَا فَرْقَ بَيْنَكَ وَ بَيْنَهَا اِلَّا اَنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ وَخَلْقُكَ فَتْقُهَا وَرَتْقُهَا بِيَدِكَ بَدْؤُهَا مِنْكَ وَعَوْدُهَا اِلَيْكَ اَعْضَادٌ وَاَشْهَادٌ وَمُنَاةٌ وَاَذْوَادٌ وَحَفَظَةٌ وَرُوَّادٌ فَبِهِمْ مَلَأْتَ سَمَاءَكَ وَاَرْضَكَ حَتّٰى ظَهَرَ اَنْ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ فَبِذٰلِكَ اَسْئَلُكَ وَبِمَوَاقِعِ الْعِزِّ مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ وَبِمَقَامَاتِكَ وَعَلَامَاتِكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ وَاَنْ تَزِيْدَنِيْ اِيْمَانًا وَتَثْبِيْتًا يَا بَاطِنًا فِيْ ظُهُوْرِهٖ وَظَاهِرًا فِيْ بُطُوْنِهٖ وَمَكْنُوْنِهٖ يَا مُفَرِّقًا بَيْنَ النُّوْرِ وَالدَّيْجُوْرِ يَا مَوْصُوْفًا بِغَيْرِ كُنْهٍ وَمَعْرُوْفًا بِغَيْرِ شِبْهٍ حَادَّ كُلِّ مَحْدُوْدٍ وَشَاهِدَ كُلِّ مَشْهُوْدٍ وَمُوْجِدَ كُلِّ مَوْجُوْدٍ وَمُحْصِيَ كُلِّ مَعْدُوْدٍ وَفَاقِدَ كُلِّ مَفْقُوْدٍ، لَيْسَ دُوْنَكَ مِنْ مَعْبُوْدٍ اَهْلَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَالْجُوْدِ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka bima'aanee jamee'i maa yad'ooka bihee wulaatu amrika al-maamoonoona 'alaa sirrika al-mustabshiroona bi-amrika al-waasifoona liqudratika al-mu'linoona li'azamatika as'aluka bimaa nataqa feehim min mashiyyatika faja'altahum ma'aadina likalimaatika wa-arkaanan litawheedika wa-aayaatika wamaqaamaatika allatee laa ta'teela lahaa fee kulli makaanin ya'rifuka bihaa man 'arafaka laa farqa baynaka wa baynahaa illaa annahum 'ibaaduka wakhalquka fatquhaa waratquhaa biyadika bad'uhaa minka wa'awduhaa ilayka a'daadun wa-ashhaadun wamunaatun wa-azwaadun wahafazatun waruwwaadun fabihim mala'ta samaa'aka wa-ardaka hattaa zahara an laa ilaaha illaa anta fabizaalika as'aluka wabimawaaqi'i al-'izzi min rahmatika wabimaqaamaatika wa'alaamaatika an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalihee wa-an tazeedanee eemaanan watathbeetan yaa baatinan fee zuhoorihee wazaahiran fee butoonihee wamaknoonihee yaa mufarriqan bayna an-noori wad-dayjoori yaa mawsoofan bighayri kunhin wama'roofan bighayri shibhin haadda kulli mahdoodin washaahida kulli mashhoodin wamoojida kulli mawjoodin wamuhsiya kulli ma'doodin wafaaqida kulli mafqoodin, laysa doonaka min ma'boodin ahla al-kibriyaa'i wal-jood.
O God, I ask Thee by the meaning of all that by which Thou art called upon by those who govern with Thy authority: those who are entrusted with Thy mystery, welcome Thy command, extol Thy power, and proclaim Thy majesty. I ask Thee by Thy will which speaks within them, for Thou hast appointed them mines for Thy words, and pillars of the profession of Thy Unity, Thy signs and Thy stations, which are never interrupted in any place. Through them knows he who knows Thee. There is no difference between Thee and them, save that they are Thy servants and Thy creation, their doing and undoing is in Thy hand, their origin is from Thee and their return is to Thee. They are aides, witnesses, testers, defenders, protectors and searchers. With them Thou filled Thy heaven and Thy earth until it became manifest that there is no god but Thou. So I ask Thee by (all of) that, and by the positions of Thy mercy's might and by Thy Stations and Marks that Thou bless Muhammad and His household and increase me in faith and steadfastness. O Inward in His outwardness and Outward in His inwardness and hiddenness! O Separator of light and darkness! O described by other than (His) Essence and well-known in other than (His) likeness! Delimitator of every delimited thing! Witness of all that is witnessed! Bringer into existence of every existent! Counter of everything counted! Depriver of all that is deprived! There is none worshipped but Thou, Possessor of Grandeur and Generosity!
اے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے ان پُر معنی الفاظ کے واسطے سے جن سے تیرے امر کے ولی تجھے پکارتے ہیں جو تیرے راز کے امانت دار تیرے امر کی خوش خبری پانے والے تیری قدرت کی توصیف کرنے والے اور تیری عظمت کا اعلان کرنے والے ہیں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں تیری اس مشیت کے واسطے سے جو ان کے حق میں گویا ہے پس تو نے ان کو اپنے کلمات کی کانیں بنایا اور اپنی توحید، آیات اور مقامات کے ارکان کو جو کسی جگہ بھی اپنے فرض کے ادا کرنے سے باز نہیں رہتے کہ جو تجھے پہچانتا ہے ان کے ذریعے پہچانتا ہے ان میں تجھ میں کوئی فرق نہیں سوائے اس کے کہ وہ تیرے بندے اور تیری مخلوق ہیں کہ ان کی حرکت اور سکون تیرے حکم سے ہے ان کی ابتدا تجھ سے اور انتہا تجھ تک ہے وہ مددگار گواہ آزمودہ دفاع کرنے والے محافظ اور پیغام رساں ہیں انہی کے واسطے سے تو نے اپنے آسمان اور زمین کو آباد کیا تب آشکار ہوا کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ پس ان کے واسطے سے اورتیری عزت کے عظیم موقعوں کے واسطے سے اور تیرے مراتب اورنشانیوں کے واسطے سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ پر رحمت فرما اور میرے ایمان و ثابت قدمی میں اضافہ فرما اے وہ کہ اپنے ظہور میں پوشیدہ اور اپنی پوشیدگیوں اور پردوں میں ظاہر ہے اے نور اور تاریکی میں جدائی ڈالنے والے اے بغیر حقیقی معرفت کے متصف کیے جانے والے اور بغیرمثال کے پہچانے جانے والے ہر محدود کی حدبندی کرنے والے اور اے ہر محتاج گواہی کے گواہ ہر موجود کے ایجاد کرنے والے ہر تعداد کے شمار کرنے والے ہر گم شدہ کے گم کرنے والے، تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، اے بڑائی اور سخاوت والے۔
يَا مَنْ لَا يُكَيَّفُ بِكَيْفٍ وَلَا يُؤَيَّنُ بِاَيْنٍ يَا مُحْتَجِبًا عَنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ يَا دَيْمُوْمُ يَا قَيُّوْمُ وَعَالِمَ كُلِّ مَعْلُوْمٍ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ وَعَلٰى عِبَادِكَ الْمُنْتَجَبِيْنَ وَبَشَرِكَ الْمُحْتَجِبِيْنَ وَمَلَائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِيْنَ وَالْبُهْمِ الصَّافِّيْنَ الْحَافِّيْنَ وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِيْ شَهْرِنَا هٰذَا الْمُرَجَّبِ الْمُكَرَّمِ وَمَا بَعْدَهٗ مِنَ الْاَشْهُرِ الْحُرُمِ وَاَسْبِغْ عَلَيْنَا فِيْهِ النِّعَمَ وَاَجْزِلْ لَنَا فِيْهِ الْقِسَمَ وَاَبْرِرْ لَنَا فِيْهِ الْقَسَمَ بِاسْمِكَ الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَجَلِّ الْاَكْرَمِ الَّذِيْ وَضَعْتَهٗ عَلَى النَّهَارِ فَاَضَاءَ وَعَلَى اللَّيْلِ فَاَظْلَمَ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا مَا تَعْلَمُ مِنَّا وَمَا لَا نَعْلَمُ وَاعْصِمْنَا مِنَ الذُّنُوْبِ خَيْرَ الْعِصَمِ وَاكْفِنَا كَوَافِيَ قَدَرِكَ وَامْنُنْ عَلَيْنَا بِحُسْنِ نَظَرِكَ وَلَا تَكِلْنَا اِلٰى غَيْرِكَ وَلَا تَمْنَعْنَا مِنْ خَيْرِكَ وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِيْمَا كَتَبْتَهٗ لَنَا مِنْ اَعْمَارِنَا وَاَصْلِحْ لَنَا خَبِيْئَةَ اَسْرَارِنَا وَاَعْطِنَا مِنْكَ الْاَمَانَ وَاسْتَعْمِلْنَا بِحُسْنِ الْاِيْمَانِ وَبَلِّغْنَا شَهْرَ الصِّيَامِ وَمَا بَعْدَهٗ مِنَ الْاَيَّامِ وَالْاَعْوَامِ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ۔
Yaa man laa yukayyafu bikayfin walaa yu'ayyanu bi-aynin yaa muhtajiban 'an kulli 'aynin yaa daymoomu yaa qayyoomu wa'aalima kulli ma'loomin salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalihee wa'alaa 'ibaadika al-muntajabeena wabasharika al-muhtajibeena wamalaa'ikatika al-muqarrabeena wal-buhmi as-saaffeena al-haaffeena wabaarik lanaa fee shahrinaa haazaa al-murajjabi al-mukarrami wamaa ba'dahoo mina al-ashhuri al-hurumi wa-asbigh 'alaynaa feehi an-ni'ama wa-ajzil lanaa feehi al-qisama wa-abrir lanaa feehi al-qasama bismika al-a'zami al-a'zami al-ajalli al-akrami allazee wada'tahoo 'alaa an-nahaari fa-adaa'a wa'alaa al-layli fa-azlama waghfir lanaa maa ta'lamu minnaa wamaa laa na'lamu wa'simnaa mina az-zunoobi khayra al-'isami wakfinaa kawaafiya qadarika wamnun 'alaynaa bihusni nazarika walaa takilnaa ilaa ghayrika walaa tamna'naa min khayrika wabaarik lanaa feemaa katabtahoo lanaa min a'maarinaa wa-aslih lanaa khabee'ata asraarinaa wa-a'tinaa minka al-amaana wasta'milnaa bihusni al-eemaani waballighnaa shahra as-siyaami wamaa ba'dahoo mina al-ayyaami wal-a'waami yaa zaa al-jalaali wal-ikraam.
O He who is not conditioned by "how" or determined by "where"! O veiled from every eye! O Everlasting! O eternally Self-subsistent and Knower of all that is known! Bless Muhammad and his household and Thy elect servants, Thy mankind in veils, Thy angels brought nigh, and the untold multitudes (of angels) set in ranks and encircling (the Throne). And bless us in this our venerated and honored month and the sacred months that follow it. In it bestow blessings upon us copiously, make large our portions, and fulfill for us (our) oaths, by Thy most tremendous, most tremendous, greatest and noblest Name, which Thou placed upon the day, and it brightened, and upon the night, and it darkened. And forgive us that of ourselves which Thou knowest and we know not, preserve us from sins with the best of preservations, suffice us with the sufficiencies of Thy decree, favor us with Thy fair regard, leave us not to other than Thee, hold us not back from Thy goodness, bless us in the lifespans Thou hast written for us, set aright for us what is hidden in our secrets, give us protection from Thee, cause us to act with the fairest of faith, and bring us to the month of fasting and the days and years that come after it, O Lord of Majesty and Splendor!
اے وہ جس کی حقیقت بے بیان ہے جو کسی مکان میں نہیں سماتا اے وہ جو ہر آنکھ سے اوجھل ہے اے ہمیشگی والے اے نگہبان اور ہر چیزکے جاننے والے محمدؐ اور ان کی آلؑ پر رحمت فرما اور اپنے پاک و پاکیزہ بندوں پر اور پوشیدہ رہنے والے انسانوں پر اور اپنے مقرب فرشتوں پر اور نامعلوم صف بستہ دائرے میں کھڑے ہوؤں پر اور برکت نازل فرماہمارے لیے ہمارے اس رجب کے مہینے میں جوبزرگی والاہے اور اس کے بعد آنے والے محترم مہینوں میں نیز اس مہینے میں ہم پر نعمتیں کامل فرما اور ہمیں زیادہ حصہ عنایت کر اور اس مہینے میں ہماری قسموں کو پورا فرما واسطہ ہے تیرے اس نام کا جو سب سے عظیم، سب سے عظیم، سب سے جلیل اور سب سے کریم ہے جسے تونے دن پر متوجہ کیا تو وہ روشن ہوگیا اور رات پر رکھا تو وہ تاریک ہوگئی۔ پس بخش دے ہمارے وہ گناہ جن کو تو جانتا ہے ہم نہیں جانتے اور ہمیں گناہوں سے بخوبی محفوظ فرما ہماری کفایت فرما جیسی تو قدرتِ کاملہ رکھتا ہے اور اپنے حسنِ نظر سے ہم پر احسان فرما ہمیں اپنے غیر کے حوالے نہ کر اپنی خیر و برکت ہم سے نہ روک اور ہماری جو عمریں تو نے لکھی ہیں ان میں برکت عطا فرما ہماری چھپی ہوئی برائیاں مٹا دے اور ہمیں اپنی طرف سے امان عطا فرما اور ہمیں بہترین ایمان کے ساتھ عمل کی توفیق دے اور ہمیں آنے والے ماہِ رمضان اس کےبعد کے دنوں اور سالوں تک زندہ رکھ اے جلالت و بزرگی کے مالک۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Explanation: It was said in ’Umdatuz Zaaer’: Explanation: The leader of the affair is Muhammad and his household (peace be on them all) they have been described with these beautiful attributes, they are the ranks which are never vacated at any given place, because when they (peace be on them) call Allah the Most High with the hidden meanings with them, or a caller calls with their names or with how they call in any place and for whatever reason, Allah will accept the prayer without any delay. Because they are the source of bountifulness and place of acceptance, with their blessing the caller receives bounty even the entire creature, this is the secret behind praying for them and seeking their intercession in Allah the Majesty the Mighty for your entire request, because it will not be rejected from whoever pray for them.
صاحب عمدة الزائر اس دعائے شریف کے بیان میں فرماتے ہیں ولاة امر یعنی صاحبان امر وہ محمد اور ان کے اھلبیت ہیں جن میں صفات حمیدہ پائی جاتی ہیں ان کے بڑے مقامات ہیں ان میں کسی قسم کی غیر مفید چیز معنی نہیں ہے جب خدا کے نزدیک یہ بڑا مقام رکھتے ہیں خدا سے مانگیں یا اھلبیت کو وسیلہ قرار دے کہ پکاریں جہاں پر ہوں اور جس امر کے لئے پڑھیں خداوند ان کی دعا کو قبول کرتاہے اور ان کی برکت سے اس کا فیض دعا کرنے والے کو پہنچتاہے اور ان کی دعا قبول ہوتی ہے بلکہ ان کی برکت سے تمام مخلوق کو فیض پہنچتاہے۔ یہی راز ہے کہ درود بھیجنا ان کو وسیلہ قرار دینا جو حاجت بھی ہو چونکہ جو بھی ان پر درود بھیجے اس کی دعا رد نہیں ہوتی ہے۔
