محمد بن عبدالرحمن تستری کہتاہے کہ میں بنی رواس کے علاقہ سے گزر رہا تھا ان برادران میں سے ایک نے کہا اگر آپ چاہتے ہیں تو اکٹھے مسجد صعصعہ چلے جاتے ہیں وہاں نماز پڑھتے ہیں چونکہ یہ مہینہ رجب کا مہینہ ہے اس مہینے میں ان مقدس مقام پر معصوم امام آئے ہیں اور اس میں نماز پڑھ رہے ہیں اور وہ جہاں نماز پڑھنا مستحب ہے اور مسجد صعصعہ بھی ان میں سے ایک ہے راوی کہتاہے کہ ان کے ساتھ مسجد کی طرف چلا گیا مسجد کے دروازے پر پہنچا تو اچانک ایک اونٹ کو دیکھا اس کی پشت پر پالان اور مسجد کے دروازہ کے کنارے سویا ہوا ہے ہم مسجد میں داخل ہوئے ایک شخص کو دیکھا کہ بدن پر حجازی لباس اور سر پر عمامہ رکھا ہوا بیٹھا ہے اور دعا پڑھتاہے میں نے اور میرے ساتھی نے اس دعا کو حفظ کیا مرحوم شیخ طوسی نے فرمایا ہے کہ مستحب ہے کہ رجب کے مہینے میں ہر روز دعا کو پڑھیں۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ يَا ذَا الْمِنَنِ السَّابِغَةِ وَالْآلَاءِ الْوَازِعَةِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ الْوَاسِعَةِ وَالْقُدْرَةِ الْجَامِعَةِ وَالنِّعَمِ الْجَسِيْمَةِ وَالْمَوَاهِبِ الْعَظِيْمَةِ وَالْاَيَادِي الْجَمِيْلَةِ وَالْعَطَايَا الْجَزِيْلَةِ۔
يَا مَن لَّا يُنْعَتُ بِتَمْثِيْلٍ وَلَا يُمَثَّلُ بِنَظِيْرٍ وَلَا يُغْلَبُ بِظَهِيْرٍ يَا مَنْ خَلَقَ فَرَزَقَ وَاَلْهَمَ فَاَنْطَقَ وَابْتَدَعَ فَشَرَعَ وَعَلَا فَارْتَفَعَ وَقَدَّرَ فَاَحْسَنَ وَصَوَّرَ فَاَتْقَنَ وَاحْتَجَّ فَاَبْلَغَ وَاَنْعَمَ فَاَسْبَغَ وَاَعْطٰى فَاَجْزَلَ وَمَنَحَ فَاَفْضَلَ۔
يَا مَنْ سَمَا فِي الْعِزِّ فَفَاتَ نَوَاظِرَ (خَوَاطِرَ) الْاَبْصَارِ وَدَنَا فِي اللُّطْفِ فَجَازَ هَوَاجِسَ الْاَفْكَارِ يَا مَنْ تَوَحَّدَ بِالْمُلْكِ فَلَا نِدَّ لَهٗ فِيْ مَلَكُوْتِ سُلْطَانِهٖ وَتَفَرَّدَ بِالْآلَاءِ وَالْكِبْرِيَاءِ فَلَا ضِدَّ لَهٗ فِيْ جَبَرُوْتِ شَانِهٖ يَا مَنْ حَارَتْ فِيْ كِبْرِيَاءِ هَيْبَتِهٖ دَقَائِقُ لَطَائِفِ الْاَوْهَامِ وَانْحَسَرَتْ دُوْنَ اِدْرَاكِ عَظَمَتِهٖ خَطَائِفُ اَبْصَارِ الْاَنَامِ۔
Allaahumma yaa zaa al-minani as-saabighati wal-aalaa'i al-waazi'ati war-rahmati al-waasi'ati wal-qudrati al-jaami'ati wan-ni'ami al-jaseemati wal-mawaahibi al-'azeemati wal-ayaadee al-jameelati wal-'ataayaa al-jazeelah.
Yaa man laa yun'atu bitamtheelin walaa yumaththalu binazeerin walaa yughlabu bizaheerin yaa man khalaqa farazaqa wal-hama fa-antaqa wabtada'a fashara'a wa'alaa fartafa'a waqaddara fa-ahsana wasawwara fa-atqana wahtajja fa-ablagha wa-an'ama fa-asbagha wa-a'taa fa-ajzala wamanaha fa-afdal.
Yaa man samaa fee al-'izzi fafaata nawaazira (khawaatira) al-absaari wadanaa fee al-lutfi fajaaza hawaajisa al-afkaari yaa man tawahhada bil-mulki falaa nidda lahoo fee malakooti sultaanihee watafarrada bil-aalaa'i wal-kibriyaa'i falaa didda lahoo fee jabarooti shaanihee yaa man haarat fee kibriyaa'i haybatihee daqaa'iqu lataa'ifi al-awhaami wanhasarat doona idraaki 'azamatihee khataa'ifu absaari al-anaam.
O Allah! O Possessor of abundant favours, dispensed bounties, vast mercy, all-encompassing power, immense blessings, great gifts, beautiful favours and plentiful grants! O He who is not described by likeness, not likened to any equal, and not overcome by any helper! O He who created and provided, inspired and made (His creatures) speak, originated and laid down the law, was exalted and rose high, determined and did well, formed and perfected, argued and made the proof complete, blessed and made it ample, gave and gave abundantly, bestowed and bestowed generously! O He who rose so high in might that He escaped the gaze of the eyes, and drew so near in kindness that He went beyond the promptings of thought! O He who is alone in sovereignty, so that He has no rival in the dominion of His authority, and unique in bounties and grandeur, so that He has no opponent in the omnipotence of His majesty! O He in the grandeur of whose awe the subtlest imaginings are bewildered, and before the perception of whose greatness the glancing sight of mankind falls short!
اے معبود! اے مسلسل نعمتوں والے اور عطا شدہ نعمتوں والے اے کشادہ رحمت والے۔ اے پوری قدرت والے۔ اے بڑی نعمتوں والے اے بڑی عطاؤں والے اے پسندیدہ بخششوں والے اور اے عظیم عطاؤں والے۔ اے وہ جس کے وصف کے لیے کوئی مثال نہیں اور جس کا کوئی ثانی نہیں جسے کسی کی مدد سے مغلوب نہیں کیا جاسکتا اے وہ جس نے پیدا کیاتوروزی دی الہام کیاتو گویائی بخشی نئے نقوش بنائے تورواں کردیئے، بلند ہوا تو بہت بلند ہوا اندازہ کیا تو خوب کیا صورت بنائی تو پائیدار بنائی حجت قائم کی تو پہنچائی، نعمت دی تو لگاتار دی، عطا کیا تو بہت زیادہ، اور دیا تو بڑھاتا گیا۔ اے وہ جو عزت میں بلند ہوا تو ایسا بلند کہ آنکھوں سے اوجھل ہوگیا اور تو لطف و کرم میں قریب ہوا تو فکر و خیال سے بھی آگے نکل گیا اے وہ جو بادشاہت میں یکتا ہے کہ جس کی بادشاہی کے اقتدار میں کوئی شریک نہیں وہ اپنی نعمتوں اور اپنی بڑائی میں یکتا ہے پس شان و عظمت میں کوئی اس کا مقابل نہیں۔ اے وہ جس کے دبدبہ کی عظمت میں خیالوں کی باریکیاں حیرت زدہ ہیں اور اس کی بزرگی کو پہچاننے میں مخلوق کی نگاہیں عاجز ہیں۔
يَا مَنْ عَنَتِ الْوُجُوْهُ لِهَيْبَتِهٖ، وَخَضَعَتِ الرِّقَابُ لِعَظَمَتِهٖ وَ وَجِلَتِ الْقُلُوْبُ مِنْ خِيْفَتِهٖ اَسْئَلُكَ بِهٰذِهِ الْمِدْحَةِ الَّتِيْ لَا تَنْبَغِيْ اِلَّا لَكَ وَبِمَا وَاَيْتَ بِهٖ عَلٰى نَفْسِكَ لِدَاعِيْكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَبِمَا ضَمِنْتَ الْاِجَابَةَ فِيْهِ عَلٰى نَفْسِكَ لِلدَّاعِيْنَ۔
يَا اَسْمَعَ السَّامِعِيْنَ وَاَبْصَرَ النَّاظِرِيْنَ وَاَسْرَعَ الْحَاسِبِيْنَ يَا ذَا الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِيْنِ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَعَلٰى اَهْلِ بَيْتِهٖ وَاقْسِمْ لِيْ فِيْ شَهْرِنَا هٰذَا خَيْرَ مَا قَسَمْتَ وَاحْتِمْ لِيْ فِيْ قَضَائِكَ خَيْرَ مَا حَتَمْتَ وَاخْتِمْ لِيْ بِالسَّعَادَةِ فِيْمَنْ خَتَمْتَ وَاَحْيِنِيْ مَا اَحْيَيْتَنِيْ مَوْفُوْرًا وَاَمِتْنِيْ مَسْرُوْرًا وَمَغْفُوْرًا وَتَوَلَّ اَنْتَ نَجَاتِيْ مِنْ مُسَاءَلَةِ الْبَرْزَخِ وَادْرَأْ عَنِّيْ مُنْكَرًا وَنَكِيْرًا وَاَرِ عَيْنِيْ مُبَشِّرًا وَبَشِيْرًا وَاجْعَلْ لِيْ اِلٰى رِضْوَانِكَ وَجِنَانِكَ (جَنَّاتِكَ) مَصِيْرًا وَعَيْشًا قَرِيْرًا وَمُلْكًا كَبِيْرًا وَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ كَثِيْرًا۔
Yaa man 'anati al-wujoohu lihaybatihee, wakhada'ati ar-riqaabu li'azamatihee wa wajilati al-quloobu min kheefatihee as'aluka bihaazihi al-midhati allatee laa tanbaghee illaa laka wabimaa wa-ayta bihee 'alaa nafsika lidaa'eeka mina al-mu'mineena wabimaa daminta al-ijaabata feehi 'alaa nafsika lid-daa'een.
Yaa asma'a as-saami'eena wa-absara an-naazireena wa-asra'a al-haasibeena yaa zaa al-quwwati al-mateeni salli 'alaa muhammadin khaatami an-nabiyyeena wa'alaa ahli baytihee waqsim lee fee shahrinaa haazaa khayra maa qasamta wahtim lee fee qadaa'ika khayra maa hatamta wakhtim lee bis-sa'aadati feeman khatamta wa-ahyinee maa ahyaytanee mawfooran wa-amitnee masrooran wamaghfooran watawalla anta najaatee min musaa'alati al-barzakhi wadra' 'annee munkaran wanakeeran wa-ari 'aynee mubashshiran wabasheeran waj'al lee ilaa ridwaanika wajinaanika (jannaatika) maseeran wa'ayshan qareeran wamulkan kabeeran wasalli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalihee katheeraa.
O He before whose awe faces are humbled, before whose greatness necks are bowed, and from fear of whom hearts tremble! I ask You by this praise, which befits none but You, by what You have promised upon Yourself to Your caller among the believers, and by the answering You have guaranteed upon Yourself to those who call. O Best Hearer of all who hear, Best Seer of all who see, and Swiftest of reckoners! O Possessor of firm strength! Bless Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets, and his Household, and allot me in this month of ours the best of what You allot, decree for me in Your judgment the best of what You decree, seal (my life) for me with happiness among those whose lives You seal (with it), keep me alive, as long as You keep me alive, with plenty, and make me die joyful and forgiven. Take charge Yourself of my deliverance from the questioning of the Barzakh, keep Munkar and Nakir away from me, show my eyes Mubashshir and Bashir, and make for me a return to Your good pleasure and Your gardens, a life of delight and a great kingdom. And bless Muhammad and his family abundantly.
اے وہ جس کے رعب کے آگے چہرے جھکے ہوئے ہیں اور گردنیں اس کی بڑائی کے سامنے نیچی ہیں اور دل اس کے خوف سے ڈرے ہوئے ہیں میں سوال کرتا ہوں تیری اس تعریف کے ذریعے جو سوائے تیرے کسی کو زیب نہیں اور اس کے واسطے جو کچھ تو نے اپنے ذمہ لیا پکارنے والوں کی خاطر جو کہ مومنوں میں سے ہیں اس کے واسطے جسے تونے پکارنے والوں کی دعا قبول کرنے کی ضمانت دے رکھی ہے اے سب سے زیادہ سننے والے اے سب سے زیادہ دیکھنے والے اے تیز تر حساب کرنے والے اے محکم تر قوت والے۔ محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما جو خاتم الانبیاءؐ ہیں اور ان کے اہل بیتؑ پر بھی اور اس مہینے میں مجھے اس سے بہتر حصہ دے جو تو تقسیم کرے اور اپنے فیصلوں میں میرے لیے بہتر و یقینی فیصلہ فرما کر مجھے نواز ،اور جن کا خاتمہ تو نے سعادت پر کیا ہے ان میں میرا خاتمہ بھی سعادت پر فرما اور جب تک تو مجھے زندہ رکھے فراواں روزی سے زندہ رکھ اور مجھے خوشی و بخشش کی حالت میں موت دے اور برزخ کی گفتگو میں تو خود میرا سرپرست بن جامنکر و نکیر کو مجھ سے دور اور مبشر و بشیر کو میری آنکھوں کے سامنے لا اور مجھے اپنی رضامندی اور بہشت کے راستے پر گامزن کر دے وہاں آنکھوں کو روشن کرنے والی زندگی اور بڑی حکومت عطا فرما اور تو محمدؐ پر اور ان کی آلؑ پر بہت زیادہ رحمت نازل فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
He prostrated for a very long time, then stood up and went on his way. My friend said to me: we saw him to be Khizr (a) why don't we talk to him as if he has put hold to our tongue, so we came out and met with ibn Abi Rawaad Al-Rawaasi and said: where are you (both) coming from? From Sa'asa'ah Mosque we replied and told him about the incident. He said: this man normally comes to Sa'asa'ah Mosque every two days or three but he doesn't talk. We said: who is he? Who do you think he is? He inquired, we said, we deem him to be Khizr (a), he said, to God I also deem him to be Khizr (a); later my friend said to me, to God the man was the leader of the time (may our souls be sacrifice for him). I say: Sayyid Ali bin Taaus said: this supplication was narrated from the commander of the faithful (a) but for the fact that this supplication is offered during the day of the holy month of Rajab we decided to bring it under the chapter of the monthly supplications.
اس وقت ایک طویل سجدہ کیا اور اٹھا اونٹ پر سوار ہو کر چلاگیا ساتھی میری طرف متوجہ ہوا اور کہا میری نظر میں وہ حضرت خضر(علیہ السلام ) ہے کیوں ان کے ساتھ بات نہیں کی گویا ہماری زبان بند ہے ہم مسجد سے باہر آئے ابن ابی رواد رواسی کو دیکھا کہا کہاں سے آئے ہیں ہم نے کہا مسجد صعصعہ سے آئے ہیں اس کو واقعہ سے آگاہ کیا اس نے کہا یہ سوار دو تین روز اس مسجد میں آتے ہیں کسی سے بات نہیں کرتے ہیں ہم نے کہا ہم گمان کرتے ہیں کہ وہ حضرت خضر(علیہ السلام ) ہے اس نے کہا خدا کی قسم میری نظر میں یہ وہی ہیں کہ حضرت خضر اس کی زیارت کا محتاج ہے پس ہم لوٹے اور سمجھ گئے کہ واقعہ کیا ہے میرے ساتھی نے مجھ سے کہا کہ خدا کی قسم وہ صاحب الزمان تھا سید ابن طاؤوس کی روایت کی بناء پر یہ دعا حضرت امیرالمومنینؑ سے ہے چونکہ یہ دعا ماہ رجب سے مربوط ہے۔
