Dua in Tough Time
مشکل وقت کی دعا
Kaf’ami reports that a man complained to the Holy Prophet (s) about his ailment and poverty. The Holy Prophet (s) therefore taught him to say the following statement after the obligatory prayers. According to another report, the Holy Prophet (s) said, “Whenever a tribulation afflicted me, Archangel Gabriel would come to me and instruct me to say these words.” According to other validly reported traditions, this doxology may be repeated for fending off evil inspirations, settling debts, and saving from poverty…
کفعمیؒ نے حضرت رسول اللهؐ سے روايت کی ہے کہ ايک شخص نے آنحضرتؐ کی خدمت میں اپنی بيماری اور تنگدستی کی شکايت کی تو آپؐ نے اس سے فرماياکہ ہر فريضہ نماز کے بعد يہ دُعا پڑھا کرو۔ ايک اور روايت کے مطابق آنحضرتؐ نے فرمايا: جب بھی مجھے کوئی مشکل امر درپيش ہوتا تو جبرائيلؑ ميرے پاس آتے اور کہتے کہ اس دعا کو پڑھيں۔ معتبر احاديث میں آيا ہے کہ دل کے وسوسوں، قرض، پريشانی اور بيماری دور کرنے کے لئے يہ دُعا بار بار پڑھی جائے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
لَاحَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى الْحَىِّ الَّذِىْ لَا يَمُوْتُ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِىْ لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ صَاحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدَا وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهٗ شَرِيْكٌ فِى الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهٗ وَلِىُّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيْرًا۔
Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaa-he tawakkal-to ‘alal hayyil lazee laa ya-mooto wal hamdo lillaa-hil lazee lam yatta-khiz saahe-batan walaa wala-daa wa lam ya-kun lahu sharee-koon fil-mul-ke wa lam ya-kun lahu waliyyo minaz zulle wa kabir-ho takbeera.
There is no power and no strength except by Allah. I rely upon the Ever-Living Who does not die. All praise is for Allah He has not taken a consort nor a child; He has no partner in His dominion; and He has no protector out of weakness. So magnify Him with great magnificence.
نہیں ہے طاقت وقوت مگر جو خدائے بلند وبزرگ سے، میں نے اس پر بھر وسہ کيا جو زنده ہے اسے موت نہيں حمد ہے خدا کے ليے جس نے نہ کوئی بيوی بنائی اور نہ کوئی بيٹا، نہ بادشاہت میں کوئی اس کاشريک ہے نہ بوجہ کمزوری کوئی اس کا مددگار ہے اور اس کی بہت زياده بڑائی کرو۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
