Dua of Prostration in Namaz

نماز میں دعائے سجدہ

Imam Reza (a) narrates thus: “Then say Takbeer (ALLAAHO AKBAR) and go in prostration. The prostration is completed with the seven parts of the body, which are: forehead, two palms of both hands, both knees and thumbs of both feet, nose is not included in the prostration. Putting the nose on the earth is for the exhibition of disagree and indignity. Look towards your nose while in the prostration and during both the prostrations and Tashhahud concentrate on your shirt and recite this supplication in prostration. This supplication should be recited 3, 5 or 7 times and it is better if it is recited 9 times…

امام رضاؑ فرماتے ہے: پھر تکبیر "اللہ اکبر" کہو اور سجدے میں جاؤ، سجدہ بدن کے ۷ حصوں کو زمین پر رکھنے سے مکمل ہوتا ہے، اور وہ پیشانی، دونوں ہاتھوں کی ہتھیلی، دونوں پاؤں کے گھٹنے اور انگوٹھے ہیں، ناک کا زمین پر رکھنا شامل نہیں ہے۔ سجدے کے دوران اپنی نظر کو اپنی ناک کے سمت رکھو اور اس دعا کو ۳، ۵ یا ۷ مرتبہ پڑھوں، بہتر ہے کہ اسے ۹ مرتبہ پڑھا جائے۔۔۔

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ وَبِكَ اٰمَنْتُ وَلَكَ اَسْلَمْتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ اَنْتَ رَبِّيْ سَـجَدَ لَكَ وَجْهِيْ وَشَعْرِيْ وَبَشَرِيْ وَمُـخِّيْ وَلَـحْمِيْ وَدَمِيْ وَعَصَبِيْ وَعِظَامِيْ سَـجَدَ وَجْهِيَ الْبَالِي الْفَانِيَ الذَّلِيْلُ الْمَهِيْنُ لِلَّذِيْ خَلَقَهٗ وَصَوَّرَهٗ وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهٗ وَبَصَرَهٗ تَبَارَكَ اللهُ اَحْسَنُ الْـخَالِقِيْنَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْاَعْلٰى وَبِـحَمْدِهٖ۔

‏

Allaahumma laka sajadto wa beka aamanto wa laka aslamto wa a’layka tawakkalto anta rabbee sajada laka wajhee wa sha’ree wa basharee wa mukhkhee wa lahmee wa damee wa a’sabee wa e’zaamee sajada wajheyal baalil faaniz zaleelul maheeno lil-lazee khalaqahu wa sawwarahu wa shaqqa sam-a’hu wa basarahu tabaarakal laaho ahsanul khaaleqeena subhaana rabbeyal a-a’laa wa behamdeh.

O Allah! For You I prostrate, and on You I believe, and to You I submit, and on You I rely, You are my Lord, prostrated for You my face, and my hair, and my skin, and my brain, and my flesh, and my blood and my nerve, and my bones, prostrated my wretched face, the mortal, the humble, the humiliated, for the One Who has created it and shaped it, and split its hearing and sight, blessed be Allah, the most excellent of all creators, All glory be to Allah, the All-High, and in praise of Him.

خدا یا! میں نے تیرا سجدہ کیا اور تجھ پر ایمان لایا اور تیرے سامنے تسلیم ہوا اور تجھ پر توکل کیا، تو ہی میرا پروردگار ہے، میرا چہرہ، بال، دماغ، گوشت، خون، ہڈی سب تیرے سامنے سجدہ کر رہے ہیں، میرا بوسیدہ، فانی، ذلیل و حقیر چہرہ اس کو سجدہ کرتا ہے جس نے خلق کیا اور صورت عطا کی اور قوت سماعت و بصارت بخشی، بلند و برتر ہے خدا جو بہترین خالق ہے، پاک و پاکیزہ ہے میرا بلند و برتر پروردگار اور وہی لائق حمد ہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin

Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
