مؤلف کہتے ہیں: سید ابن طاؤسؒ نے مہاج الدعوات میں ائمہ طاہرینؑ کی سب قنوت جمع کی ہیں چوں کہ وہ بہت طولانی ہیں لہٰذا ہم نے اسی ایک قنوت کے ذکر پر اکتفا کیا ہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ مَنْ اَوٰى اِلٰى مَاوِىً فَاَنْتَ مَاوَاىَ وَمَنْ لَجَاۗءَ اِلٰى مَلْجَاۗءٍ فَاَنْتَ مَلْجَاىٰ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاسْمَعْ نِدَاۗئِىْ وَاَجِبْ دُعَاۗئِىْ وَاجْعَلْ مَآبِىْ عِنْدَكَ وَمَثْوَاىَ وَاحْرُسْنِىْ فِىْ بَلْوَاىَ مِنِ افْتِتَانِ الْاِمْتِحَانِ وَلَمَّةِ الشَّيْطَانِ بِعَظَمَتِكَ الَّتِىْ لَا يَشُوْبُهَا وَلَعُ نَفْسٍ بِتَفْتِيْنٍ وَلَا وَارِدُ طَيْفٍ بِتَظْنِيْنِ وَلَا يَلُمُّ بِهَا فَرَحٌ حَتّٰى تَقْلِبَنِىْ اِلَيْكَ بِاِرَادَتِكَ غَيْرَ ظَنِيْنٍ وَلَا مَظْنُوْنٍ وَلَا مُرَابٍ وَلَا مُرْتَابٍ اِنَّكَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔

O Allah, if someone may resort to a shelter, then my shelter is You. If someone may seek refuge in an asylum, they my asylum is You. O Allah, (please) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, listen to my call, respond to my prayer, decide my final return and abode to be with You, and guard me, when I am afflicted by an ordeal, against failure in the trial and against the influence of Satan, [please do it] in the name of Your greatness that is admixed with neither infatuating fondness nor assumed and transitory apparition and is not charmed by a joyful situation, until You decide to take me to You by Your will while I am neither accused, suspect, suspicious, nor doubtful. Verily, You are the most merciful of all those who show mercy.
اے معبود !اگر کوئی شخص کسی طرف مائل ہوا ہے تو میں تیری طرف مائل ہوں اور اگر کوئی شخص کسی اور کی پناہ لے تو میں تیری پناہ لیتا ہوں۔ اے معبود ! رحمت فرما محمدؐ و آ ل محمدؑ پر اور میری آواز سن اور میری دعا قبول فرما، میری بازگشت اور ٹھکانہ اپنے یہاں قرار دے، میری نگہبانی کر سخت آزمائشوں، مشکل وقتوں اور شیطان کی دخل اندازیوں میں اپنی عظمت کے ذریعے جس میں نفس کی خواہش کا شبہ نہیں نہ بد گمانی کے کسی خیال کا گزر ہے اور نہ مدہوشی کا خطرہ یہاں تک تو مجھے اپنی طرف پلٹائے اپنے ارادے سے نہ بدگمانی اور نہ تہمت کے ساتھ نہ شک و شبہ کی حالت میں، یقیناً تو سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
