بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
قُلْ لِلْمُغَيَّبِ تَحْتَ اَطْبَاقِ الثَّرٰى اِنْ كُنْتَ تَسْمَعُ صَرْخَتِيْ وَنِدَائِيَا۔
صُبَّتْ عَلَيَّ مَصَائِبُ لَوْ اَنَّهَا صُبَّتْ عَلَى الْاَيَّامِ صِرْنَ لَيَالِيَا۔
قَدْ كُنْتُ ذَاتَ حِمًى بِظِلِّ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا اَخْشَ مِنْ ضَيْمٍ وَكَانَ حِمَیً لِيَا۔
فَالْيَوْمَ اَخْضَعُ لِلذَّلِيْلِ وَاَتَّقِيْ ضَيْمِيْ وَاَدْفَعُ ظَالِمِيْ بِرِدَائِيَا۔
فَاِذَا بَكَتْ قُمْرِيَّةٌ فِيْ لَيْلِهَا شَجَنًا عَلٰى غُصْنٍ بَكَيْتُ صَبَاحِيَا۔
فَلَاَجْعَلَنَّ الْحُزْنَ بَعْدَكَ مُوْنِسِيْ وَلَاَجْعَلَنَّ الدَّمْعَ فِيْكَ وِشَاحِيَا۔
Qul lil-mughayyabi tahta atbaaqi ath-tharaa in kunta tasma'u sarkhatee wanidaa'iyaa.
Subbat 'alayya masaa'ibu law annahaa subbat 'alaa al-ayyaami sirna layaaliyaa.
Qad kuntu zaata himan bizilli muhammadin laa akhsha min daymin wakaana himayan liyaa.
Fal-yawma akhda'u liz-zaleeli wa-attaqee daymee wa-adfa'u zaalimee biridaa'iyaa.
Fa-izaa bakat qumriyyatun fee laylihaa shajanan 'alaa ghusnin bakaytu sabaahiyaa.
Fala-aj'alanna al-huzna ba'daka moonisee wala-aj'alanna ad-dam'a feeka wishaahiyaa.
Tell him who is concealed under the layers of soil: If you can hear my scream and my call. If the misfortunes that have been poured on me. Were poured on days, they should turn to black nights! Under the shadow of Muhammad, I used to be sheltered I did not anticipate any grievance since he was my haven But today I am made subservient to the lowly, suffering grievances. And I have to ward off the wrongdoer with my dress. If a turtledove weeps on a branch in eves. Out of grief, I will weep in morns. I shall betake grief, after you, as my entertainment. And I shall betake shedding tears, for you, as my sash.
کہہ دو اُس ہستی سے جو مٹی کی تہوں کے نیچے پوشیدہ ہے، اگر تم میری چیخ و پکار اور میری فریاد کو سن سکتے ہو: میرے اوپر ایسی مصیبتیں ٹوٹ پڑی ہیں کہ اگر وہ دنوں پر پڑتیں تو وہ دن راتوں میں بدل جاتے۔ میں تو محمدؐ کے سایۂ رحمت میں محفوظ تھی، مجھے کسی ظلم کا خوف نہ تھا، کیونکہ اُن کی پناہ ہی میرے لیے امن کا سبب تھی۔ لیکن آج مجھے ذلیل و پست لوگوں کے آگے جھکنا پڑ رہا ہے، اپنے اوپر ہونے والے ظلم و جور سے خود کو بچانا پڑ رہا ہے، اور اپنے ظالموں کا مقابلہ محض اپنے دوپٹے سے کرنا پڑ رہا ہے۔ پس جب بھی کوئی قمری (فاختہ) اپنی رات میں کسی شاخ پر غم سے روتی ہے، تو میں بھی اس کے ساتھ ساتھ صبح تک رویا کرتی ہوں۔ میں نے ارادہ کر لیا ہے کہ تیرے بعد غم ہی کو اپنا مونس بناؤں گی، اور تیرے فراق میں بہنے والے اشکوں کو اپنا دائمی لباس بنا لوں گی۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
