Namaz-e-Gufhaila

نمازِ غفیلہ

1. PLEASE NOTE: Be it clear that the reason for presenting Translation is to understand Salaat and to recite in Arabic with concentration because reciting Salaat other than Arabic language (or Transliteration) is not correct.

2. وَذَا النُّوْنِ اِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ اَن لَّنْ نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادٰى فِي الظُّلُمٰتِ اَن لَّآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّآ اَنْتَ سُبْحٰنَكَ اِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهٗ وَنَجَّيْنٰهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَكَذٰلِكَ نُنْجِي الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ۔

   WA ZAN NOONE IZ ZAHABA MUGHAAZEBAN FA ZANNA AL LAN NAQDERA ’ALAIHE FANAADA FIZ ZULUMAATE AL LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNI KUNTO MINAZ ZAALIMEEN. FASTAJABNA LAHU WA NAJJAINAAHO MINAL GHAMME WA KAZAALEKA NOONJIL MO’MENEEN.

   And Yunus, when he went away in wrath, so he thought that We would not straiten him, so he called out among afflictions: There is no god but Thou, glory be to Thee; surely I am of those who make themselves to suffer loss. So We responded to him and delivered him from the grief and thus do We deliver the believers.

   اور یونسؑ کو یاد کرو کہ جب وہ غصّہ میں آکر چلے اور یہ خیال کیا کہ ہم ان پر روزی تنگ نہ کریں گے اور پھر تاریکیوں میں جاکر آواز دی کہ پروردگار تیرے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے تو پاک و بے نیاز ہے اور میں اپنے نفس پر ظلم کرنے والوں میں سے تھا۔ تو ہم نے ان کی دعا کو قبول کرلیا اور انہیں غم سے نجات دلادی کہ ہم اسی طرح صاحبانِ ایمان کو نجات دلاتے رہتے ہیں۔

3. وَعِنْدَهٗ مَفَاتِحُ الْغَيْبِ لَا يَعْلَمُهَآ اِلَّا هُوَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَمَا تَسْقُطُ مِنْ وَّرَقَةٍ اِلَّا يَعْلَمُهَا وَلَا حَبَّةٍ فِيْ ظُلُمٰتِ الْاَرْضِ وَلَا رَطْبٍ وَّلَا يَابِسٍ اِلَّا فِيْ كِتٰبٍ مُّبِيْنٍ۔

   WA ’INDAHU MAFAATIHUL GHAIBE LA YA’LAMOHAA ILLA HU; WA YA’LAMO MAA FIL BARRE WAL BAHRE; WA MAA TASQOTO MIW WARAQATIN ILLA YA’LAMOHA WA LA HABBATIN FEE ZULUMAATIL ARZE WA LA RATBIW WA LA YAABESIN ILLA FEE KITAABIM MUBEEN.

   And with Him are the keys of the unseen treasures- none knows them but He; and He knows what is in the land and the sea, and there falls not a leaf but He knows it, nor a grain in the darkness of the earth, nor anything green nor dry but (it is all) in a clear book.

   اور اس کے پاس غیب کے خزانے ہیں جنہیں اس کے علاوہ کوئی نہیں جانتا ہے اور وہ خشک و تر سب کا جاننے والا ہے۔ کوئی پتہ بھی گرتا ہے تو اسے اس کا علم ہے زمین کی تاریکیوں میں کوئی دانہ یا کوئی خشک و تر ایسا نہیں ہے جو کتابِ مبین کے اندر محفوظ نہ ہو۔

4. اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ بِمَفَاتِحِ الْغَیْبِ الَّتِیْ لَا یَعْلَمُھَآ اِلَّا اَنْتَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیْ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِیْ کَذَا وَکَذَا۔۔۔

   ALLAAHUMMA INNEE AS-ALOKA BE-MAFAATE-HIL GHAI-BIL LATEE LAA YA’LAMO-HAA ILLAA ANTA AN TO-SALLEE A’LAA MOHAMMADIW WA AALE MOHAMMADIN WA AN TAF-A’LA BEE KAZAA WA KAZAA. . .

   O Allah, I beseech You in the name of the Keys of the Invisible (world) that none knows save You; (please) send blessings to Muhammad and his Household and…

   خداوندا! میں تجھ سے غیب کی کنجیوں کے واسطے سے سوال کرتا ہوں جسے سوائے تیرے کوئی نہیں جانتا کہ محمدوآل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور میرے حق میں یہ کام کر دے۔۔۔

5. اَللّٰہُمَّ اَنْتَ وَلِیُّ نِعْمَتِیْ وَالْقَادِرُ عَلٰی طَلِبَتِیْ تَعْلَمُ حَاجَتِیْ فَاَسْئَلُکَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَیْہٖ وَعَلَیْھِمُ السَّلَامُ لَمَّا قَضَیْتَھَالِیْ۔

   ALLAHUMMA ANTA WALIYYO NE’MATI WAL QAADERO TALEBATI TA’LAMO HAAJATI FA AS-ALOKA BE-HAQQE MUHAMMADIW WA AALE MUHAMMADIN ALAIHE WA ALAIHIMUS SALAAMO LAMMA QAZAITAHA LI.

   O Allah, You are the source of the graces that I have, You have the power to respond to my request, and You know my needs; I therefore beseech You in the name of Muhammad and his Household, peace be upon him and them, to grant me my needs.

   اے معبود! تومجھے نعمت عطا کرنے والا ہے اور میری حاجت پر قدرت رکھتا ہے میری حاجت کو جانتا ہے پس محمدؐوآل محمدؐ کے واسطے سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ میری حاجت پوری فرما۔
