Mir Muzaffar Husain Zameer

Mir Muzaffar Husain Zameer was a master of the Lucknow marsiya in the generation before Anees and Dabeer, and Dabeer’s teacher. He is credited with the sarapa, the description of a hero from head to foot, and with lengthening the marsiya to seventy or a hundred bands.
